I have been to AOI many times and the food has been top notch every experience. I've only done takeout so I can't speak too much about the ambiance or service but when I pickup my order the staff is quick and helpful! The sushi and sashimi pieces are very thick and tasty and their rolls are delicious as well. I would absolutely recommend this place for anyone looking for high quality sushi.

Aoi has become our local sushi joint.They're nice, affordable and close by. Especially great, if you have a mid week hankering for sushi. I can't say I have had anything bad, everything has always been really good. I love their veggie maki. Especially the tempura mushroom! I often get their Unagi don, and it's tasty. There's so many different sushi and other items to choose from, it's hard to go wrong!

Haven't been back here since 2022. So glad to come back and had lunch at Aoi. Same friendly owner greeted me at the door. Service was pleasant.Had three maki combo, toro sashimi, ikura sushi!!! They were all so delicious! Toro sashimi could be more fatty. Felt like the price was a bit high for the toro quality. They were Chu toro not the fattest toro (fatty toro) * see the picExcellent ikura nigiri!!! Would definitely order that again! Everything else was great! Nice and friendly server! Ambiance is comfortable and clean.

Japanese is the best choice of food for lunch hands down. I don't know about you, but there's something nice about the size of sushi rolls or sashimi that makes them just the perfect thing to have for lunch with a cup of tea. On a family visit, we tried this place for a lunch on a weekend where they were not doing lunch specials. Looking at the menu, the lunch specials they did have were not organized in a fashion that made me immediately interested anyways. The rolls and presentation were average for cost and taste,and definitely not exceeding expectation, The tea was a cup of hot water and a tea bag, disappointing. Warm saki was good! The staff was very nice and efficient, despite being short staffed. Would I eat here again? Yes, if I was visiting out here. But would I make a special trip to eat at this restaurant if I was out here again? Probably not.

It took a while before we had our order taken but they were busy and we were in a far corner. Large variety of items on the menu from noodle dishes, rice dishes to sushi and sashimi. Food was satisfying and portions were filling. The cut seemed interesting for some of the sashimi, but they were decently sized. Ambiance wise it is casual with parties ranging from families with babies to couples on dates. The place is decorated well and tables well spaced.

Our family of 4 came for a late lunch on a Tuesday. We saw the amount of varieties on their menu and knew this would be a good place. We were greeted by a friendly staff. She sat us down immediately. The waitress we had was attentive and super friendly. My 2 kids love sushi so they got the 3 maki combo each. My husband enjoyed a katsu don (rice bowl) and I had the miso ramen soup. It was all so delicious and gave a homey feel. The owner later came over and told us about their boba tea shop just a plaza over (2 minutes walk) and we're excited to try that after. I highly recommend this place. The price is just right for a homey authentic Japanese restaurant.

Love this spot! The waitresses are so, so sweet and the sushi is always great. This is my neighborhood go to, so I've been there a lot. I almost always have the gyoza (steamed) and a couple rolls- they've all been yummy. I've also tried some of the sushi entrees, which were yummy too.

Lovely place. I had great time here.Ambience is superb and you will get calm feeling getting into restaurant. Everything is simple and clean. A little different atmosphere than normal restaurant in usa.Service was great. Our server helped us with our questions and suggested few options to try. She was patiently taking our questions and answered with smile.We ordered crabmeat Dumplings which was best among all other makis and we repeated this order in end.In maki we ordered rainbow maki, idaho maki (sweet potato) and Shrimp Tempura maki.Everything turned out to be great. We liked crabmeat Dumplings best though.Great place, highly recommended.
