Have been eating at Anzio's Pizza since I was a toddler, and it is always amazing! New owners and same amazing food. The new owners are super nice and are very dedicated to their business. They haven't changed the amazing pizza and great menu at Anzios, thank god! Always excited to go back for some pizza, a don steak, Italian hoagie, amazing lasagna, pasta specials and the great atmosphere! Anzio's is a Phoenix classic and must for anyone looking for great pizza and tasty Italian food. Also a great place to host a birthday party, group event or large parties. Love Anzio's

The service was good. It had a wide range of items on the menu. I'm from NJ and was raised on Italian food so I'm picky. The inside was nice, clean, it did have that Italian restaurant vibe to it. I got a spicy shrimp linguine, what most of would call 'Fra Diavlo' which was good.My wife go the fried appetizer plate and that was terrible. It was like fried cardboard. They took that off the bill.WORD OF CAUTION- it is literally 75 feet from what looks to be a crack house. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it was like day of the living meth heads roaming the lot at the house and the restaurant area. My wife was a bit scared. I can't image what it's like a night. Not much the restaurant can do about that though.

I'm surprised that none of the reviews talk about the area where this restaurant is located. It is not in a very nice part of town at all, as we were driving in there was a lot of homeless people and people who looked like they were drug addicts. It was really bad to the point where I thought maybe we should hard pass on this restaurant. However, we decided to go in and give it a try and wow, Definitely not what I expected inside! it's a very nice restaurant, it was clean and well taken care of. Our server ILSE was great, she was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. I happen to make the wrong choice when I ordered my meal and she kindly returned it to the kitchen for me. My husband ordered the spicy shrimp linguine and he really enjoyed it. We ended up, sharing his dish, and we were both happy with it.

We've been going to Anzios for over 15 years! I can say that I've never been disappointed here no matter what it order. I've tried pizza, pasta, fish and chips, boom boom shrimp, even the burger is amazing! To top it off the service is always top notch as well! Give Anzios a try you won't be disappointed.
