Such good food! I had the pleasure of sampling some food from their food truck when they were parked outside of Thorn Brewery. I got the Anto Jito Box for $30 and it comfortably fed me and three of my friends. They were also nice enough to switch out the mofongo with the sweet plantains when we asked. Everything it it was great! The pork skewers were delicious. My favorite was the tripleta fries which came with three kinds of meat. A delight for carnivores! Would definitely go back.

Amazing and authentic!!! A blessing to San Diego! I am a first-Gen Puerto Rican who grow up mostly in San Diego. The only Puerto Rican food I eat is what my family or I cook. Everything else has always tasted different than what it does on the island. The food here is amazing and the staff is sweet! Also, it was so amazing that they had tembleque for dessert! 10/10 Do yourself a favor and try them out! :)

OMG !!! It was that good. We can't believe we found some "alcapurrias" so delicious outside of P.R. !!! They were well seasoned and full of beef. We ordered the AntoYitos box and it was everything we needed and wanted. The service was friendly and everything was made in a timely manner. Sitting under the tent and enjoying some puertorican food in San Diego on a Sunday afternoon with the family just makes you realize that "Life is Good."

This is my favorite combo there ($15 total for what's pictured). It usually comes with pork (I think) instead of chicken, but I asked if I could modify it, and they said no problem. It's family run, friendly service and they have a cute little setup next to their truck with a couple of tables, chairs and Puerto Rican decor. I like that National City is allowing more food trucks and local vendors.

Comida auténtica puertorriqueña. Nos gustó mucho las alcapurrias y los sorullitos con mayo ketchup. Lo único que extrañé fueron los chicharrones en el mofongo. Yo soy una mofongo lover y en el mofongo para mi es esencial ponerle chicharrón para darle su sabor auténtico, aunque debo admitir que me encantó que le pusieran en consomé por el lado, sabia riquísimo. Por lo demás todo estuvo bien. No puedo decir si es staff es amigable o no porque no hubo interacción pero si puede apreciar que son muy limpios y organizados y con ambiente festivo.

Such a great find! We are visiting family in SD and I'm so grateful for this food truck. My wife and I have been craving Puerto Rican food and can't find it anywhere near where we live. The food truck is in the parking lot of Manolo's grocery store. We ordered the AntoYitos box and Mofongo with pork. The box is a great deal because it comes with 4 pinchos AND rice which are my usual cravings. The Mofongo was moist and tasted amazing with the garlic flavors. The pork was also more tender than I expected. I'll definitely be coming back everytime we're in San Diego!
