I came here for lunch on a Monday and was able to enjoy lovely views of the marina from our table, and plenty of parking in the lot. I had made reservations, but I don't think they were necessary for a weekday meal. I noticed that they had closed off the downstairs dining room and were only operating on the second floor (accessible by elevator and stairs). We got the halibut fish & chips, pan-fried trout, strawberry rhubarb maitai, and a non-alcoholic pear mojito. The food was delicious, and drinks were alright (a bit sweet), but service was a little inattentive (probably less staff on a weekday), and there was no attention paid to it being a special occasion despite me stating so when making reservations. Certainly no complimentary cake, like at other similar restaurants. It's a nice place to warm up and have lunch after a boating day, or if you want a quiet local seafood meal. They sometimes have specials like their recent $33 prix-fixe Sunset dinners, which last from 3-6pm.

Came for Happy Hour downstairs as I saw online they had a new (to me) it's been a while, HH Menu, not sure how long it's been in place. Malia was the only one working the entire bar at 5pm but did a fantastic job IMHO of managing tables/groups. We ordered the sourdough bread ($5) to start while deciding drinks. From the HH menu beside bread, we ordered the Lobster roll slider($6 each slider) , popcorn chicken ($6) and Cesar salad ($6) add shrimp(+$4 or calamari if you want) The popcorn chicken comes with a hatch chili dipping sauce which sounds hot but was perfectly creamy to make a nice medium heat and the chicken was lightly coated crispy delicious. 10/10Lobster slider ($6) 10/10...again remember one slider is given but it was creamy and full of lobster for a small slider..I had to scoop the lobster chunks from my plate back on the bun as it was a slider side but who cares! ..I would definitely come back and order 2-3 over going anywhere else for an overpriced lobster roll for $30 or so, the going rate around Seattle. One slider was enough to satiate my lobster roll craving for the cheapskate inside of me. Caesar salad was dressed perfectly and the addition of the bay shrimp for $4 was bountiful. Several shrimp in each bit of salad. Again 10/10They were closed because of COVD for a time but I highly recommend anyone who loves seafood and great service come back and try the New and Improved Happy Hour Menu. I'll be back to try other offerings on the menu and enjoy Malias fantastic customer service.

The food at Anthony's is always amazing and they pay very close attention to detail when it comes to their food. Normally the service is impeccable unless you're ignored or treated invisible, I normally do not sit at the bar as it's lunch and I have no intentions on drinking a grown-up drink this time ofthe day , I'm sure the bartender didn't see a big tip with just one person having ice tea and lunch. it would've been nice if I got that second glass of ice tea and had someone ask me if my lunch was OK or I needed anything else. Sad to say not much point in coming back. It's just too weird to be treated like that. I will say the ambience was nice and the food was good. Just don't sit at the bar.

Anthony's posted on their Facebook that they are doing $50 all you can eat Dungeness crab on Dec. 3 + 10, so me and my dad juuuumped on making reservations. That's an insane deal! The location of this Anthony's is easy to get to, has ample parking space, and the view is beautiful, right along the water. We got to enjoy some sunset views which is always nice. Like I said, they posted about their all you can eat crab deal, so we already knew that's what we were getting. Note that if you go for this upcoming weekend (the 10th), the deal is ONLY good for dinner service which begins at 2pm at the Des Moines locations, and reservations are accepted. We were given the option of having our crab hot or cold, served alongside hot dipping butter as well as seasonal veggies and roasted potatoes. The potatoes and veggies were delicious, too. The first serving of crab was a great size, and when our waitress asked if we were ready for more, of course we said yes. They then brought a giant stack of legs that my dad and I conquered together and eventually tapped out once we finished that mountain of crab. The quality of the crab was delicious and my dad and I thought it was well worth the $50. They run this deal randomly from what I've seen, so who knows when the next time is - be sure to go for dinner on Dec. 10th for AYCE Dungeness Crab!

We have had many great meals here. We brought my mom her for brunch and was horribly disappointed. I have gotten more food and better food at Dennys. Our brunch came in about 3 minutes. It was at best left over, pre cooked bacon and potatoes. The quality was absolutely lame. 2 pieces of bacon (last year 4) minimal potatoes and eggs were cold and hard. Best thing today, the coffee. We honestly left hungry. Due to the restaurants higher prices I expected (as in the past) you got your monies worth. Get the senior mail for 9.99 at Dennys. You get your monies worth. Will not be giving anthonys any business anymore.

Anthony's offers a dining experience that goes beyond expectations. From the moment you step in, the service sets the tone for an exceptional dining experience. The staff at Anthony's in Des Moines are not just attentive, they're genuinely invested in ensuring your satisfaction. From recommending dishes to promptly refilling drinks, every aspect of the service is executed with precision and warmth. The staff at Anthony's makes you feel like a valued guest. Their attention to detail and commitment to hospitality truly elevate the dining experience, making my visit memorable. The ambiance was simply breathtaking. I dined here with my family and we watched the sun set along the marina waterfront. As we enjoyed our meal we couldn't help but to acknowledge the incredible service and the fantastic view from our seats. From the warm bread to the fresh oysters, the appetizers were definitely a hit. I had a delectable blue cheese salad with my yellowfin ahi which was apart of the fresh sheet (see images) and a flavorful red wine recommended by our amazing server. Simply put: Exquisite. Ending the meal we had the Homemade Cherry Buckle which was a part of the Winter Desserts menu. Although it probably was meant to be shared, it was so good that I ate the whole thing to myself. The great food, views and hospitality was worth every penny. Highly recommended for date night. Be sure to book in advance as it may get busy. It's a 5 star from me!

Came here on a Thursday afternoon and there wasn't a wait. The view is great and the waitress was very nice and attentive. The food was a little pricey but it was good and the portions decent.
