Anthony's Hearthfire Grill – Squalicum Harbor

Location! Location! Location!Hearthfire Grill a more upscale spin to Anthony's Restaurant was the unique and special view we needed for a romantic evening. The service was attentive, knowledgeable, and personable. Why only three stars? Although the restaurant did not disappoint on location, the food was the epitome of okay. Seafood is the star of the show but sadly disheartened on the deliverable. The calamari was hard fried, overcooked, and lacked freshness. I ordered the Sockeye with seasoned vegetables. The flavor was present but the overcooked theme continued with my salmon. The texture of the snap peas did add some reprieve but overall not impressed. I recommend bringing your camera, good company, and conversation to enjoy the view, but not the food.

Always a fan of Anthony's! Came to this location and it did not disappoint! Had the crab cakes for dinner and they were perfect! The sweet glaze they came with is so good, and they were full of crab meat not filler which I appreciate and not fishy at all. The crab stuffed mushrooms appetizer however was a little watery?? Best way to put it. Wouldn't get that again. However everything else was great. the salmon poke appetizer was great, and same with the shrimp and blue cheese salad! That salad is always a must get!! We also got the mussels and they were cooked in this lemon butter wine sauce that went great with the bread! Overall a great meal. The service was great too and we were a table for 7! We will be back :)

We had an amazing evening at Hearthfire after a busy day.While we just popped in for a very light dinner, we split a caesar salad with shrimp that was delicious and huge. Each half portion was entree sized for us. The romain lettuce was very fresh and the dressing very tasty without being too heavy or too much. The shrimp were the little guys you typically get in a shrimp cocktail, but one very large portion for each plate. We also had the Berry Berry Cocktail, which was fun (and tasty) and some fresh coffee.The setting and ambiance is always wonderful when the weather is nice, as we prefer to sit outside whenever possible. You can watch the boats come in in the evening as the sun sets in the distance. Beautiful!! The evening we were there the Bellwether Hotel next door had a band playing outside. The music was great and the sound system sufficient to allow us to enjoy it, without being overpowered -- that is, we could still talk to each other at normal volume. A beautiful sunset rounded it all out perfectly.Service was superb and very attentive. We've only been to the Hearthfire a few times, but service has always been great.Two thumbs way up! We'll be back!

We came here for a birthday celebration lunch. The place has a nice ambience where you have a beautiful view of the marina wherever you sit. They offer an assortment of seafoods, salads, soups, burgers, & sandwiches. We both had the squid calamari as starters. It was tasty with a light batter. We both chose the Cioppino & Caesar. Cioppino was a soup bowl size & flavorful. A bit on the salty side. Tasty Caesar salad. They offered a complimentary chocolate sundae for the birthday girl which was a nice surprise. Our server was friendly & attentive. Food is similar to the other chain restaurants. There's complimentary parking out front. A great venue to celebrate any occasion. They even offered a holidays menu of festive desserts & drinks. If you love seafood, this is the place to go.

Had a wonderful dinner with my family & Hearthfire has never disappointed me! I had the Roasted Scampi Prawns & they were delicious! The garlic butter & gremolta give the prawns a wonderful flavor. The service is great & the wait people are friendly. Love the atmosphere, boat & water views!

My friend and I an impromptu stop at Hearthfire Grill on July 4th. This is the perfect place to enjoy a fabulous lunch and enjoy a beautiful view of Squalicum harbor and Bellingham Bay. I had the Shrimp mango salad while my friend enjoyed their fabulous steak with French fries and onion rings. We enjoyed strolling the paths and outdoor waterfront trails adjoining the restaurant after enjoying our delicious lunch.

Our go-to for anniversaries and date nights! The exceptional care, great service, and delicious food make every visit memorable. The amazing view adds an extra touch of romance, and the free parking is a definite bonus. It's a perfect spot to celebrate special moments with your partner.

We came here for lunch on our way up north to Blaine, WA. The sun was shining and a perfect day to enjoy the patio sitting that gives you pretty picture perfect view of the marina. We loved that the drink menu had some of our favorite Washington Wineries. Our personal favorite being Sparkman Cellars's Rose. The shrimp and artichoke dip was an absolute hit for my wife and I. I had the Wild Alaska True Cod Burger and let me tell you, puts a whole new spin on "fish and chips". The customer service was fantastic. Our waitress and the support staff were attentive, kind and made our experience enjoyable. If you're in Bellingham, add this to your "must try" list. You won't regret it and make sure on a nice sunny day, you get a seat outside.

What a wonderful place to enjoy great company and delicious food! Very comfortable ambiance! Four of us had lunch here last Saturday and were extremely pleased with our selection of restaurant and entrees!Appetizers were the golden fried crispy tender calamari which were super tasty and yummy! We also had the crab, shrimp and artichoke dip. This was outstanding as well! Served with little squares of flatbread the dip was outstanding!My wife had the mango and shrimp salad and loved it! Lots and lots of goodies on this salad. Please see picture!I had the Caesar Salad with shrimp. It was delicious!My 97 year old mom had the crab, shrimp and artichoke open face sandwiches. She loved it and thought it was delicious!My son had the fried cod dish sandwich and loved it! Huge portion of breaded cod between a delicious roll!Dessert was a rhubarb slump with ice cream. Super yummy! Perfect sweet tart dessert to this awesome meal!Great place!!

Great view of the harbor. Many unique menu items not found in Anthony's other restaurants. I had the BBQ prawns with potatoes and asparagus. The seasoning was a little over-powering but still good.. Great wine list. Our server, Ellen was fantastic.
