Our server was so generous and kind, she saved the meal for us. Other than that, it was a bit of a let down. The butter is cold and solid with an awkward sprig of thyme. It doesn't spread on the bread and takes forever to soften. Our mains arrived in a rush and were auctioned to us rudely. Each of our dishes were underwhelming and frankly were worse than what we could make at home. My fish was a small, very thin, dry and over-cooked filet. I was hungry and ate it but, I was disappointed. It seems like Anthony's is really cutting corners, the quality is just not there. Might be ok for a happy hour or a lunch but I wouldn't recommend it for a nice dinner out.The restaurant was so loud that we had to practically shout to hear each other. Our party had a reservation and we were placed in a high traffic area sandwiched between the bar, the kitchen and big tops full of people. The company was wonderful & our server was a delight. But, I'd hesitate to eat there again.

Overpriced especially for what you receive. The portions are incredibly small - insultingly so. I ordered a three-piece fish and chips for $26 and received McNugget-sized pieces of fish. Here's a photo of the fish servings (I ate some fries before the photo was taken so ignore that serving size). When I asked the server if that was the normal size I got a yes and a "yes, it's kinda sad" response. I rarely post negative reviews and always wait a few days to see if I still feel the same way. In this case, I still feel as ripped off. My family and I have gone to Anthony's for several years but no more. On the plus side, the food tasted fine and the outdoor seating is nice.

Food was okay. Raw oysters left something to be desired. Sourdough bread was wonderful and served warm. Filet was slightly overcooked. Cioppino was a little on the salty side and definitely a hands-on meal. The seafood and crab fettuccine sauce was more brothy than creamy. Seafood was cooked to perfection, as were the vegetables. Service was fabulous. We had an issue with one of the meals and the server had the item compensated, which was above and beyond. Ambiance was on the louder side for a nice restaurant but it was a busy night. Great wine and cocktail selection. Overall I would recommend this local PNW chain. I have had better experiences at brunch in years past.

I think the main draw of Anthony's is the view of the marina. It's a nice place to take out-of-town visitors. The food is good, but if you want knock-your-socks-off seafood, I'd choose the locally-owned A-Town Bistro over the Anthony's chain any day.

We did not find a lot of choices for nicer restaurants to eat in Anacortes, so we decided to give this place a try with its marina location and views. We had a decent meal that was nothing special, but it filled our bellies. I definitely had higher expectations of the seafood dishes given its proximity to the ocean. It was all fresh, but just not amazing. The Shaking Beef was a disappointment, but my husband warned me not to order it. I was expecting something similar to The Slanted Door in San Francisco, and it didn't even come close. Desserts were okay, and may be the best part of the meal. Basically, its an average place to have an average dinner.

On our visit to Washington, my father (who is a local) brought us to Anthony's. He knew we were craving fresh seafood...and that's what we got here! First impression, wow what a beautiful restaurant. Second, the hostess is delightful but our server is curt and direct. She isn't rude but she most definitely isn't friendly. There was a big party in the banquet room so the food and drinks took a little while to receive. What we ordered:* Silver salmon bowl special - fresh & flavorful 4* Clam chowder - chock full of clams & potatoes, definitely the star of the meal 4.5* Calamari Ceasar - crispy not chewy 4* Fish & chips (Rock cod, halibut was also an option but more expensive) - I liked that you could choose 2 or 3 fish pieces, but it was very dry and under seasoned plus the tartar sauce and the Asian ginger slaw lacked flavor 2.5* Lobster roll - too much mayo so it was messy and masked the flavor of the lobster 3* Pomegranate drop - tasted like orange juice 1* Lemon drop - boozy & tart 3.5* Fish taco & clam chowder combo - taco was much bigger than expected and was full of delicious ingredients 4.5 We also ordered a glass of Albariño and a hef beer. Both good. The wine & beer list were adequate. **Would definitely recommend Anthony's mainly because of the views of the water and the delicious clam chowder**

This was my first time here and I really enjoyed my experience. The company was wonderful, the food was incredible, and the view was absolutely gorgeous. We started off with the crab, shrimp, artichoke dip and it was really good. A little on the small side but tasty and would definitely order it again. The drinks were maybe my favorite part because they tasted so fresh and fruity with a kick. My favorite was the pear martini and you could really taste the pear. Our dinner was steak, mashed potatoes, broccoli, and crab cake. I really enjoyed the flavor of the steak and mashed potatoes. Broccoli was streamed and fine but nothing special. I did enjoy the crab cake with the 2 different sauces, one sweet and one salty and creamy. The ambiance was nice and everyone seemed like they were having a good time. I will definitely be back and try other items and dessert!

I've been to more Anthony's locations than I can count & this one is in a beautiful spot right on the water (like most of them I guess haha). We had great service and good food for a reasonable price. I got the sunset trio for $33. For my starter, I got the smoked salmon dip and it was EXCELLENT. Soooo good. Also the strawberry rhubarb lemonade was delicious. For the main, I got the salmon & shrimp duo which was tasty, but unfortunately a bit overcooked. It came with a side of asparagus that I enjoyed. Although overcooked I still enjoyed the meal, and we let the server know to tell the chef because all three of our salmons were overdone. The restaurant was kind and offered to replace our salmon (we didn't need it, we ate it anyway) and then gave us a free appetizer card for next time so I appreciated that. Finished with the burnt cream dessert which was lovely, but my mom upgraded to the strawberry rhubarb cobbler and that was even better. Hollllly crap it was so good!!! It's worth the upgrade cost. Always a good time at Anthony's and I appreciated their attempts to rectify any little issues.

Wow. It actually pains me to write this one. Hubby reserved a table for a birthday celebration. We showed up on time, was met with actually 2 stone-faced hostesses who told us to wait a few minutes. Ok-no issue. (But-not greeted, no smile, no welcome, just...nuthin).Waitstaff eventually came over, took our orders for drinks, which we never got. Again-no pleasantries, no anything. In fact, the only person who was welcoming and friendly was the fellow who was bussing tables. Its as if the entire front of house staff had taken a pact to be grumpy that day. (We do come here once a month or so...)Waitstaff checked quickly on us after food arived(mine was just warm-we had seen it sitting under the lights for awhile while hubby's food was prepared) and disappeared. We were anticipating some sort of bday dessert-nope. Just a check hastily dropped off literally in passing.Now-I have been waitstaff in an upscale restaurant in this area back in the Stone Age when I was in grad school. I remember busy days where every table was full-but my boss was so passionate about engaging and friendly service that we learned how to at least fake it. We paid and left-without any sort of "hey thanks for coming in" from the host stand on our way out, which, again, we were used to here! Tough visit on what was supposed to be a celebration day. Will have to rethink that in future.
