Anthem Coffee & Tea - Downtown Tacoma

Small lowkey coffee place with a beautiful view of the pier. Avocado Toast was smaller than I expected but it was pretty good. Pretty fast with making my coffee & the baristas were nice. Their coffee is surprisingly good!! I got the Crème Brûlée Late Iced Coffee. They sell a bunch of pastries as well if you're looking for something small to snack on. They're located right by a nice pier that you can do a cute little walk after you grab something from here. Also, located by the glass garden which is SUPER pretty!

I wanted to try this place because lot of my friends recommended this place. Tried their iced latte and I really loved it. It was perfect. The service is amazing and the place is very chic. It's in a business center and the views are just amazing from here. Definitely a must visit if you are around this area. You wouldn't be disappointed.

Anthem is a spacious cafe right across UWT! Perfect for those who want to grab a pick-up or sit down to focus on an assignment. We liked that we were able to sit down and work in there for two hours undisrupted; Wi-Fi, and an outlet to charge our devices as needed. We ordered an iced Crème Brûlée Latte and iced Nutella Latte. Both drinks were good, but we definitely preferred the iced Crème Brûlée Latte between the two.

We loved the location and felt very safe here. Easy access from the University. We loooved the avocado toast and panini was heated up for us. The coffee was delicious and I believe three shots of espresso was enough. We sat planning our trip this year and loved being able to plug in and utilize wifi too. Great spot!

Service was friendly. The barista made me a cream brûlée latte that was very tasty. The ambiance was pretty cool. The coffee shop was decorated very well, totally fun and had a good vibe. They had a grab and go fridge where I picked out a sandwich that they gladly warmed up for me and it was delicious. Great view too.

This was my first time visiting Tacoma and my first priority was to find some good coffee to start my day! This cafe was close to where we were staying and I wanted to go to the Museum of Glass afterwards. I ordered the creme brûlée latte. The customer service was great! I asked the barista if the drink was super sweet based on the description (English toffee caramel latte with torched turbinado sugar on top), but she said she would adjust it to my preferences (I asked for 75%). Coffee was delicious! I thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance! Perfect coffee shop to get work done!

I came in to order 2 med lattes to go and my total was around $14. Even though it's more on the expensive side, the customer service, the ambiance and the drinks were great.I got the honey matcha latte with oat milk and a vanilla latte. You can taste the quality in their drinks.The barista / cashier was so friendly and kind. He was by himself but was able to multitask and give exceptional service. The interior is relatively small, however, it's beautiful decor is so welcoming. You can always grab your drink and sit outside also to enjoy the view.The parking in this area is difficult because it right next to the college and main road. You can use the kiosk to pay for parking. It was $1.50 for 90 mins.Overall, it's a beautiful location even though the drinks were pricey.

After a visit to the museum we stopped by for coffee. The place is super cute and has indoor and outdoor seating. The staff are friendly. We ordered a cold brew and a coffee though they have lots of options. There are also yummy looking treats and sandwiches. It's a nice place to take a break, or read, or just enjoy the view. Highly recommend!

Very tasty smoothies! We had strawberry and strawberry/peanut butter/protein powder and both are delicious.

We stopped here for avocado toast based on other reviews. I was supremely disappointed. The avocado is a sgl serving pkg of Kirkland guacamole. Fine but not great, IMHO. I ordered the bkft burrito instead. Another prepackaged dish. All well & good, but certainly not anything special. The espresso is great, the svc is great, the food, meh.
