Angkor Wok

Food here is mediocre for taste and the servings are so small the the high prices they are charging. We had dinner last Feb 14 and there was only one server and the service was pretty bad. And this restaurant had the nerve to include a mandatory 20% gratuity on our bill.Never coming back here again. Bad food, expensive prices, and bad service.

After a recent trip to see the famous Angkor Wat at Cambodia, I was very intrigued by this restaurant, especially with its high ratings. I was not disappointed as the dishes we ordered brought me back to the memories of Siem Reap and of the unique and authentic flavours of Cambodia. We ordered the phnom penh noodles, A-mok abd prohok ktis. The phnom penh was packed with flavour, especially the soup. This reminded me of a cambodian michelin gourmand restaurant in Vancouver that served the same dish, and i would say Angkor Wok did it better.The Amok tasted just like what we had in Siem Reap, even though some of the ingredients were subtituted with what's available in Seattle. Finally, the prohok ktis is all about the shrimp paste dip, and it complemented the fresh veges perfectly.To top it all off, the service was amazing; our waiter seemed like he was very happy to share his culture with us. The overall feel of the restaurant is a very clean, family run business that brings the best of cambodia cuisine across the pacific ocean.

Came here on a Sunday and there was no wait, but every time I come here I never had to wait. Owner is super friendly and nice, and the dishes were delicious. My friends have actually been to Cambodia and said the food was quite authentic. I got the Amok which is a fish curry dish. There wasn't much curry in the dish, but it was still really flavourful. The restaurant is clean and spacious with pretty decor. Definitely good for big parties.

I always saw this spot when walking around the area but finally managed to actually come try it! I rarely have Cambodian food but absolutely love it, so this was a great opportunity to get it again. We had called to reserve a table earlier in the day, but when we got there they still have a few empty tables so the reservation wasn't super necessary. Unfortunately, they were short staffed that day so service was a bit slower but nonetheless they were friendly. The inside was really cozy and well decorated.We got the duck and vegetable hotpot as well as the signature noodle soup to share between the two of us. Both items were really good! The duck hotpot broth had a very strong duck flavor and there were plenty of shiitake mushrooms and other veggies inside. The signature noodle soup dish reminded me of pho but a little more flavorful, and also had a greater assortment of meats and even quail eggs inside. That broth was also fantastic.Overall, this spot has some great authentic food, and I would recommend giving it a try if you can!

Was finally able to dine in here yesterday was a nice meal lunch option on a chilly day. We were just down the block at Ladd and Lass for a friend's pop up. I had the A-Mok Trei steamed fish curry. Generous portion and very fragrant. Coconut milk curry base. My friends both had Dry Noodle Kuy Teav Phnom Penh (Cambodian Shrimp & Pork Noodle dish) which came fully loaded and included a Pork & Vegetable soup on the side. The noodles were so tasty and the sauce very flavorful. That description was all my friend fellow Yelper Jen P. Jen also ordered the Popcorn Chicken for us to share came out piping hot full of flavor and crispy. When we walked in there were a bunch of trays being prepared of the popcorn chicken it definitely encouraged us to order it. We all had lots pf leftovers to bring home.We also delivered a lemongrass chicken dish to our friend doing the pop up it smelled so delicious! Space is well lit and clean, lots of artificial floral decor. Staff was friendly and patient as we made our decisions. And also very informative answering questions as we aren't too familiar with Cambodian cuisine. Would definitely return and introduce more friends.

First time trying Cambodian food. I chose this place among others due to the many reviews saying that place is authentic. Can't speak to that but I can say that the food was very delicious. I got the lemongrass stew with beef, beef tripe & beef intestine. The stew was sour and tasted like Thai Tom Yum soup but was a bit denser and a lot meatier. The veggies in the stew perfectly absorbed all the flavor. The portion was good too. It was pretty filling.Service was also great and the restaurant was really clean. There's another dish on the menu, the national dish fish curry, that I want to try so will definitely come back!

Most authentic Cambodian restaurant food I've had in Seattle. Will definitely come back when craving my parents' food but don't feel like cooking at home.

Ambience. AService. AFood. APrice. AFound in University district area a couple blocks away from main strip. Good luck finding street or paying for lot parking. Inside is very modern and lots of plastic plants that hopefully gets dusted periódicolly. They've only been open since 2023. Took over a sczhuan rest. And still have a few items from previous restaurant people liked. Also a blank are with few tables in back. Looks like a great setup for karaoke. As they also play nonstop KPop music. Came in around 3:00. Empty. But guy host owner was very accommodating and helpful with understanding menu and what is house made and favorites. Ordered the house made pickled lime hot pot soup with chicken. Came out with a Bunsen burner to keep the soup constantly hot. Great sour and full of citrus. Kaffir leaf and lemongrass flavors. Bury light broth. Came with side of fragrant jasmine rice. Also ordered the house made pork stuffed marinated fried chicken wings. Come nicely plump filled filling of ground pork mushroom and noodles. Good flavor of Asia soy flavors in skin. Overall; delicious! I will come backI'm a FaN!!!

OMG! My fav place in UD now! Everything just taste home made and sooo flavorful! Stuffed chicken wings are juicy with veggies and meat filling inside. Perfectly charred outside and juicy inside. Larb is a perfect blend to sour, sweet and salty. Better than Thai Larb in my opinion. Lemongrass stew is just 1000/10. A hint of sour and meaty broth!

Angkor Wok is a seriously underrated gem in the university district near the Trader Joe's and AMC movie theater. They serve authentic Cambodian food and has something for everyone. Lots of vegetarian tofu options for those with dietary restrictions. Lots of spicy flavor for those who enjoy it but also mild items for those who can't handle it! This restaurant is best family-style so that you can try a variety of different dishes. They also offer a discounted daily special item, saving around $7 for that particular item of the day. We went with a large party of around 10 people, and easily made a reservation over the phone. Due to dietary restrictions, we weren't able to eat family-style, but if I went again, I definitely would. I ordered the Somloh Jab Chai, which is the duck soup, with vermicelli noodles. It made for a perfect personal noodle soup. Extremely flavorful yet clear, and the inclusion of vegetables and roasted duck were a perfect balance to the soup. Last time I was here, I ordered the shrimp vermicelli salad, which is also phenomenal. Lightly spicy and sour, with plump shrimp and bouncy noodles, it's an extremely refreshing cold dish option. The owner is an extremely hard-working man who works the front of house, takes orders, busses food, and everything in between. He was extremely kind and checked in on us to see how we were doing and how we were enjoying the food. I know he has great pride in his restaurant and his food, as he should! As this restaurant is located in the university district, parking can be difficult to find. There is some street parking available, and a paid parking lot nearby.
