Angie's Lobster

My Wife and I recently had a chance to try Angie's Lobster at Litchfield and Waddell in Surprise. This is a bit different than other food places; there is only a drive thru with no seating. It is also about as plain Jane as you can imagine (no straws even) but they say that it keeps the price down.For 12.99 you get a well stuffed lobster roll, fries, and a drink. The rolls can be either warm with butter or cold with mayonnaise.We both added a fried half lobster tail for just a bit more.We both come from the Massachusetts coast near Maine so we know our lobster. This was definitely the real thing. Can't wait to go back soon!

Less lobster than in past, higher price! A dollar more for no ice in drinks. Used to Love this place now not too sure! Was wondering why there was no line of cars!

Fast food drive through only. Service is fast because they fry the food.I ordered the chilled lobster roll and it was great. Fries have a small seafood oil taste, but certainly crispy.The snow crab roll was dry even with the butter and sauce. I ate 75% of it before tossing it.Overall, there is really good value here as many lobster rolls are $20 and you get it here for $10. Will be back.

Worst ever...No cash, credit card onlyNo strawsYou have to try and reach for your utensils and napkins from your truck window. Your food sits on an outdoor shelf for anything to drop in it.Staff is rude.Very little lobster in the over brunt breading. The fries were cold. Not worth my time and effort ever again.

I love Angie's Lobster. My previous positive reviews show as much. I went after not had any lobster for quite a few months and was surprised but the price increase. The lobster I usually get is now $13.99 when it used to be $9.99. Now, I know this is still a good price for a lobster roll but for a company claiming that they own their own docks, boats, etc and made such a big deal of their prices, to see such an increase is disappointing. While my previous declining visits weren't for any particular reason, the price will now be affecting the number of visits I have in the future. Fast food visits for me have already been on the decline especially since the value is no longer there. But I will say that at least with AL, my lobster roll was still as good as it ever was.

Driving up, I was surprised (in Surprise, AZ) that it was a drive-thru only. Granted, I didn't read the reviews for this particular location as I was planning on going to one of their other locations. Anyways, I decided to get...the meal as it comes with fries, Angie's sauce, and a drink for $1 more. That's a deal!#2 Warm Lobster Roll (with butter) - A good amount of fresh tasting lobster on this sandwich. Angie's sauce was like a cajun remoulade sauce and was creamy and delicious. Clarified butter was great on the lobster. The fries were thin-cut and nice and crispy. Added a Fried Lobster Tail. Nicely breaded and crispy.The service was nice and friendly as you ordered. I am glad I tried it and would go again if I lived in the state. My mouth is still watering as I write this review.

Amazing!! I had the cold lobster roll and the melted butter blew my mind !! I had th best time going in there to eat the best lobster I've had in a while.... And yes it's considered fast food

Visited 2/14/2024WowJust had to try this place after seeing it on Yelp.I couldn't believe that there was a Drive Through Lobster Fast Food Joint.It's a simple inexpensive place with a simple menu and decent food for the price point.I highly recommend this place or one of the other five locations if you love Lobster Rolls.

The seafood is always spot on for flavor. Prefer when it is just seafood - a little fishy at Thunderbird location.
