Angels Trumpet Ale House

We had a great happy hour here last night. The cab on tap was very good! My husband tried a couple beers. The food was so good and great portions!

Angels trumpet Ale House has excellent beer for downtown Phoenix. It's competition is the Churchill across the street and Arizona wilderness and pedal haus. I know Matt and Sherry engelhorn and they just want to make sure people have good times. The only thing I would recommend is Matt and Sherry create a beer School for people who want to learn craft beer! teach people the Cicero and certification program. The beer school program that was once in Tempe has been dead for almost 10 years after world of Beer left Arizona. During the morning to the mid-afternoon hours the tap room and the dining room are brightly lit with the ambience of downtown Sun hitting the windows. At night it's dim fairly lit but still awesome enough that you can take Instagram pictures or what have you.I once worked in the back where they make the wings as the dishwasher and I during that year worked try to taste every beer that Matt put up on the board. So much that after a shift a gentleman sitting at the tap room facing the board stopped me and said young man I've seen you almost every day this month can you tell me what's good. I sat down had my shift beer talked to him and his wife about how to taste a beer and not just drink it. (Thanks Randy mosher )

We came in on a Saturday evening. They had a large bar and plenty of seating. I started with a sour as usual and then a light ale, he had a couple IPA's.We shared a flatbread as the bartender recommended one (with jalapeño's). I can't pass up a little spice. He also recommended the sausage platter, which sounded good.The reason for a lower rating than usual is because a gentleman walked in and pushed chairs in at the bar aggressively. He ordered beer and food and started being rude to my company. When I asked him what was wrong with him, he threw a napkin in my face!!!!!! Instead of telling him to immediately leave the bartender brings our receipt and say we both need to leave. We had been sitting quietly conversing amongst ourselves for a few hours. We weren't the problem! I was so disgusted at how this was handled, I will NEVER return! The young drunks down here are exactly why I don't come to Roosevelt Row.

Updating more photos of what we ordered, onion rings and fish tacos. This place has been one of our favorite restaurants in town that has good beer and food. We absolutely recommend this place to people who have not tried it before or for those who like good food and beer, like us.

Angels Trumpet Ale House in downtown Phoenix has amazing Happy hour and a huge beer selection alongside flatbreads not to be missed. The best part of the dinner was the dessert! Homemade pop tarts of your childhood but adult flavor. We decided to share some happy hour snacks such as the mess fries and fried pickles, both so delicious. The staff is super friendly and the overall vibe of the restaurant is so vibrant. Definitely recommend if you are in downtown Phoenix!

Stopped in for dessert the other night. Nice relaxed, dog friendly patio. Our server was friendly and there was a great beer selection. The pop tarts never disappoint.

The food, atmosphere and drink selection was fantastic! We especially enjoyed the nachos and the pop tart for desert!

Angels wasn't our initial place to eat, but luckily we got led to here to eat lunch. It wasn't busy yet for the day but I was pleased with their pace. Staff knew how to communicate well so we didn't wait long for condiments and water refills. It was great to see a good dynamic. The fresh cut fries were fresh along with our chicken sandwiches. I loved that things tasted clean and not heavy and dense in a bad way. I loved the house dressing they had for the salad!We didn't enjoy the beer but plenty of options for those who do. Nice indoor and outdoor seating. Recommend for a good lunch!

I haven't been to Angel's Trumpet in years but it was so nice coming back. The vibes are great inside and it's a fun environment. Our server (totally forgot to get his name) was awesome and gave us great recommendations on beers to try with their 6-3 oz 12$ flights! All yummy BTW. Our food was also delicious. The mess (their poutine) is my favorite. The pizza was also huge, it could definitely serve 2-3 people depending on appetite! The nachos, tacos, and quesadilla was also great. My only regret is not saving room in my stomach for their homemade pop tarts. No complaints for Angel's Trumpet!!

It is always a good vibe there. The place has great music, they have games , it's just a cool place for your group of friends. The bar tenders are good as well and generally pretty quick. The service is really good. They have food vendors on site or in the area and the food is decent. I love coming here when I'm in LA.
