Andy's Fish House

We decided to check out Snohomish and grab some lunch, so we turned to Yelp, which led us to Andy's for seafood. Bonus points for a free cup of chowder with a check-in!We were able to pick our seat in the indoor/outdoor space and our friendly server was right with us. Since it was a rainy day, we ordered a gumbo in addition to the chowder, halibut tacos, a crab Louie salad and some onion rings. The food was served fast and fresh, and their salad dressing/dipping sauce tasted homemade. This is a solid spot for fresh seafood and good service!

Met a friend here for dinner. Great location and I love that it's at the end of the shopping area. Either start or end your shopping day here! I got fish and chips - nothing was mushy, nice and crisp abs juicy in the middle. Service was pleasant - we stayed a little later than they were open and the girls were sweet enough to let us hang a little. Love the spot, we will be back.

Delicious and quirky! They seem to be in an old car shop or gas station and built it out to accommodate their restaurant. It's a mix between sitting inside and outside, most of the restaurant is outside with a heated tent that's attached to a smaller indoor area with a couple of tables. Very funThe clam chowder was super delicious, could have had more clam pieces itself, but super tasty and creamy. The fish and chips were great, nice ratio of fish and batter and all nice and crispy. I also loved their tartar sauce, ultra yummy. The tacos tasted great, little bit of heat and some crunchy slaw. They do add 6% tip to the check, so that's a very odd number?!? I mean, if you are concerned about tipping, you could do 15% overall and let people add if they want. I'm just not sure what the 6% does besides creating a mathematical nightmare. LOL I'm definitely not going to do 20% if 6% is already on it, so I had to calculate my way down to 14%-ish. Just inconvenient, but I'm assuming often missed and people still tip 18-20%.

I love Andy's clam chowder. I've tried the calamari and clam strips and chips. Perfect breaded seafood each time. Large portions for what you pay for. Fast and friendly service, with lots of seating indoor or outdoor. I can't wait to try other foods on the menu! I work 1 minute away so I'll be at Andy's often :)

Met friends here for a dinner. They have covered seating and some heaters but it can get cold when the wind blows through. Servers were cheerful and bright; it took a little while for someone to come take our order. Everything we had was delicious. We got coconut prawns to share; 4 to a plate. They were big and juicy and not overdone. Oysters depend on what they have in house; you have to ask. Served w cocktail sauce and a champagne mignotte that you apply yourself. The half and half Louie salad was HUGE. The shrimp po boy was a challenge to eat but was tasty. You can get fish and shrimp and clams in either a panko or a beer batter. The cioppino was flavorful and came w whitefish, clams, mussels, and crab. Would definitely go back again. Street parking only.

I like this place but noticed after - the kitchen service charge they snuck on my bill. Raise your prices 6% and pay your employees like every other restaurant. Boycotting.

It's all about the food and it was mediocre. I had the seafood risotto and it was quite bland. And the 6% kitchen service charge was an unexpected surprise. No thanks.

Andy's is my happy place! It's payday and I'm craving some damn good food! Great location. Very friendly servers. Excellent food. I've had a variety of items off the menu and it has yet to disappoint.Andy's for life.

Love this place I have been craving for fresh oysters so stopped by for solo lunch. I ordered 1/2 dozen oysters, pacific and Kumamoto, a side of onion rings and a free chowder by check in on Yelp app.Pacific oysters were fresh, big and creamy, it has been my fav. Kumamoto ok. I like their cocktail sauce and fresh horseradish they were $18. Onion rings were a bit greasy but not frozen I think cause the onions inside were fresh and soft. The ranch dip is really good too. I like dipping in. Ranch&ketchup combo.The servers here are always very very nice! Another reason I would like to come by even when I'm by myself. I bring friends here if they never tried. This is a gem in my local area that I would always like to introduce. 6% charge for the kitchen staff is a good idea! Very nice for hard working people who deserve to get extra.Keep up your good job Andy's!!

For the love of Andy's, get down here and sign the petition to SAVE THE TENT! I don't even need to get into it as it's known from both sides what is up, but to me the resolution is a lot simpler than what is proposed. I guess we know where City of Snohomish employees are not eating :( Hopefully some other solutions will be considered that aren't as extreme and debilitating for this beloved small business and it's fabulous employees who I'm certain would love to keep serving the community!ANYWAY. Instead of signing the online petition, I chose to pop in to sign in person and support Andy's. Two recent mom and kid dates had us making a beeline here and it was wonderful as always. A homecoming of sorts walking through the door and seeing familiar fave employees...always a highlight for our family!They always have a great rotating beer selection and one of my faves hadn't made it onto the list yet...Diamond Knot's Lazer Sword. So glad I hadn't committed to a beer that day so I could find out about this gem. The kids always appreciate an iced tea or Diamond Knot Root Beer. I heard Alluvium Cellars' Apricity will soon be on the wine list....this is a fabulous white blend from a favorite Woodinville Winery. I've also seen a GSM from Florence Cellars in Snohomish. It's always wonderful to see local business supporting each other.Our beloved Tuna Melt was on the main menu so I indulged in that one day despite the salmon-centric May specials being very enticing! Next time I went for the special Salmon burger...I would be super happy if that stayed as a special through summer! Wow! It was HUGE and the burger was hand made for my order. Love it! My daughter saw it and remarked it looked like fast food commercial burgers...you know ..they look huge in ads, but in reality they are disappointingly flat and smooshed together. I also loved the choice of sides included Pineapple Cole Slaw ..refreshing and balanced twist on a fave side of mine!
