Jordan's smile brought us in for the first time a year and a half ago! Now we pop in any time we are not trying to stand in line for one of the nearby bars/clubs, or starting the night, or ending the night, or moving between scenes, or...you get the point. Unmatched HH in the area too!

I had some time to kill while I was in the area and stopped by this bar for a drink. They have happy hour all day with $5 cocktails that were stiffer than usual. Loved it! There's also a speakeasy bar attached to it which you discover on your way to the restroom ;) will definitely come back!

I loved the vibe at first but we left and came back, when we came back the staff was extremely unkind to my fiancé while I was using the restroom. As I was using the restroom they kicked my fiancé out because he came back twice. I found this completely unacceptable and unprofessional. We will NOT be coming back.

Absolutely a breath of fresh air on a strip of bars between Rich's and Flicks (two bars/dance clubs that get absolutely PACKED wednesdays-sundays). It's a tiny bar, but the pièce de ré·sis·tance to this place is their 8pm-10pm HAPPY HOUR. You're thinking "oh it's probably a well special," WELL, you're wrong! ALL BEER, ALL WINE, Jack, Bacardi,, Hornitos, Absolute, Captain Morgan.... etc.Gunther served me here. Absolutely one of my favorite Bartenders in the neighborhood.SECRET: you can open the refridgerator doors to the right and be met with the craft cocktail bar on the other side! But that's a different review because it's technically a different bar. (It's called the Board Room)If you're tired of people stepping on your shoes and, yelling in your ear at Rich's or Flicks, this is probably the equivalent of turning on noise cancelling headphones while sipping tequila. My friends and I have been so excited to check out &Bar, a new speak easy that just opened inside Barrel and Board! We went on a Friday night around 9 pm and there was no reservation necessary. & bar has a beautiful classy interior with chandeliers and a tasty list of cocktails. The space is small so we did have to wait for 30 minutes to get a table. I enjoyed my whiskey cocktail the Tomboy. My friends got the the Juice, QUEEN, and Bee my baby. All the cocktails were reasonably priced and ranged from $12 - 16. We will definitely be back!

The speakeasy is in the back. Drinks are strong. Came on a Friday night and the vibe is more clubby with the music

Jordan was an amazing bartender! It was my cousin's 21st birthday and he made this day memorable for her and her loved ones. The service was phenomenal and we enjoyed having downtime before and after dancing the night away. We really appreciated this and will never forget!

Great addition to the neighborhood and an alternative to the other big names on the block

Great place to grab late night reasonably priced cocktails located in a small pocket between Flicks and Lestat's! Super friendly bartenders and excellent service. I highly recommend if you're hanging out in hillcrest and would like to grab a quick drink with friends!
