Anansi Cocktail Lounge

Came here for a girls' night and it was so much fun! The music is lo-fi R&B, and it plays popular songs but in a vibey mix. It's super dim and sexy lighting, and the drinks are strong! Parking is free in the apartment parking surface and garage lot, which was a little confusing at first. Also--bar snacks are about all they serve food-wise, so I wouldn't come hungry! Service is really good too, and the venue felt very clean and curated. Definitely coming back!

Sexy!This place is small and intimate, definitely for the grown and sexy crowd. I appreciated that there wasn't a dress code, but you'll want to add a little razzle dazzle to match the vibe inside.The service we received was excellent. The crowd varied throughout the evening, but that didn't affect the wait for our drinks.For all intents and purposes, they only serve drinks, so you'll definitely want to eat before you come or stop in to pre-game before dinner.

I'm really impressed with this lounge. The location is convenient with good parking. The interior is very well decorated with good decor and lighting. The service was attentive and not cloying. They were away from the table but came over immediately to take drink orders. I had a French 75 and my date had a martini and we went through a few other strong and tasty cocktails. I think this is a good location for a work meetup or to meetup with a friend. It also seems like a good place to sit at the bar and write or work.There aren't many other bars like this in Atlanta and there's so much character.

Stumbled in after a bday dinner for a family member. This place is an awesome space if you like to relax without alot of people around. The music is playing low to where you don't have to yell over it to talk. Each area is visually appealing and my tequila sunrise was amazing one of the best drinks I've ever had. Looking forward to coming back

Ive been wantung to check this place out. Tge atmosphere is chic and low lighting. Red light special is the best way to describe. The seats are comfy and the drinks were tasty. Cocktails are reasonably priced between $12- 15. They have a happy hour where the drinks are $9.I ordered the Mexican Mule and the French 75 with tequila. They were strong but balanced. I also had a shot of tequila which was $11. All in all a great experience. I will be back and will probably have my dates there as the nusic isnt too loud where you are able to have good conversation. Service was also good. They are very attentitive.

Beautiful space that is perfect for a solo date, proper date or friends night. I came with my sister on a Tuesday night and we got a couple of cocktails to hang (price around $13-16, and they add 20% gratuity). The parking was right outside (spot is located on the bottom level of the apartments). The music was a great volume so you don't have to yell. It's very intimate with vintage couches and beautiful decor. I will definitely be back.

Great drinks and service. Such a super cute cocktail bar that is black owned. The interior is sexy and moody. Really enjoyed my time here and I've been twice.

This place is legit. Tucked up under a rental building Anansi is a gem of a cocktail bar/lounge. Found this place on Yelp and in spite of the low review count decided to give this place a try. Parking - easy and plenty around the building Ambience - Chic vibe, red lights, velvet couches, good music Drinks - QR code menu with a select cocktail list. I tried the old fashioned, sidecar, and asked the bartender to make me a Kentucky Made. Drinks were delicious and the bartender was able to make me a drink off the list - which was Food - don't expect much. Truffle popcorn (yum), honey mustard pretzels and olives - that's it. I'd stick with the popcorn. It's a cocktail lounge not a restaurant.Service - 5 stars. Bartender was attentive and the staff was polite. Seating - bar chairs, velvet sofas and chairs. The place is not very big inside but they have seating outside. However, the vibe is all inside.Price - Moderate. Drinks are worth the $Will I return - Hell Yes!

Went there for a late night drink and snack and were pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem in Decatur. The drinks were potent and strong - I always judge a cocktail lounge with how good their 'old fashioned' is - and theirs was right up there!The bartender was good, attentive and did not mind going off menu when I asked her to make me a 'kentucky maid'

Okkkk, this spot is it! I hope it never changes. It's such a cute lil vibe. Absolutely perfect for a date night or a girls night. Very low-key but the decor is absolutely beautiful and completely matches. The vibe loved the chill R&B music it really contributed to the environment. The music is loud enough to facilitate the vibe, but quiet enough to actually have a conversation.I also love the fact that they DO NOT serve hookah.They don't have food, just a few little bar snacks. I got the bowl of pretzels. They were honey mustard pretzels, and the bowl is tiny. It's just a little something to snack on while you sip. The drinks were delicious! There's a little something for everybody and the drinks do have a little kick so be mindful if you're driving . I also really appreciate that. The drinks are reasonably priced. I can't recall my waitress name, but she was super sweet and the entire staff was so accommodating and attentive. This is literally the perfect spot. Please never change!
