I first visited this fruteria 20 years ago and am glad it is still here. It still sets the bar for Mexican fruterias in the area. Though some may be prettier in their presentation or other such thing, I still feel the lusciousness of the chamango that I love. True not all mango is sweet - it can be sour, but the tamarind spice with it hits my core.

Food is fresh and delicious. The juices, fruit salad, strawberries and cream are amazing. Prices are super reasonable. Service is great. I love that the quality of the food is consistent. Lee up the good work

The seating area is small. After I order I usually wait outside so I'm not in other people's way. They are nice. The açaí flavors are too sweet. The orange juice is good and very zesty, they must add a lot of lime zest and nopal.

I have eaten their large fruit salad all summer.I love that they're open late and always fresh and clean!

The smoothies are delicious and cheap! I also had an açaí bowl and that was really good as well

First time ordering food from here an hour before closing. A chicken sandwich and four berry smoothie. Went to sleep with back pain after eating from here and I thought nothing of it but woke up this morning with the worst food poisoning! Couldn't get my kids ready for school because my stomach hurts so bad. I know how food places operate and you guys didn't properly clean anything before making my smoothie did you? It's people like that being inconsiderate just because you're tired or however you wanna justify it and we end up paying the price! Stop hiring people who don't want to do their job properly! I'm getting so tired of it. Seeing it everywhere.

BEST FRUIT SALADS EVER. Anything on the menu is amazing. Quality food fresh delicious. Best place in San Diego!!! Customer service is always good!

AMAZING CHAMANGOS! Sweet lady took my order and gave me recommendations on what to order! Definitely coming here again!!

First and foremost, good thing I didn't leave a tip! (Tip for what, all you did was take my order and give me more water than product).....I ordered 3 items, Fresas con crema(you know, a nice REFRESHING treat on a nice sunny day), strawberry smoothie (strawberry, ice, water and maybe some sugar...can't really mess this up) and an agua de melon (cantaloupe). From the get-go, i could already tell the young cashier at the front was much less than thrilled to be there. I was ignored when I said hello, but didn't really react. When I ordered my final item I asked her to please remove the foam that comes with a blended cantaloupe- it's easy, just strain it into the cup you're giving me. My fresas con crema was room temp so I'm thinking their refrigerators aren't keeping things as cold as they should be , below 41 degrees. Still, gave them a chance. Strawberry smoothie was okay. It was for a 10 year old, not the harshest critic there. I received my cantaloupe water from the same girl that has a permafrown goin on, and politely asked if she could remove the foam that was left in the cup. She literally said, "I DID REMOVE IT, IF YOU STIRRED YOUR DRINK YOUD SEE". At this point I'm just kind of surprised at how she responded to a customer...a polite customer! I've worked customer service, hospitality etc and no matter how annoying a customer has been I've always treated people with respect. I'm sure a few others reading this can agree. Anyway, I took my foamy-ass, room temperature drink with me because at this point, I was just going to stoop to her level and that ain't cool, bro. *my agua de melon tastes more like agua and less like melon, meaning there wasn't enough melon in the blender and you just added like 3 more quarts of water to pretend the product was adequate. Psst, it wasn't!*Don't come here, ESPECIALLY on a warm day, you'll get food poisoning from all the food being in the danger zone.

The food and drinks are Amazing! The service is always at top quality and the workers are super fast with your order. The ambiance is great, I would recommend going there for breakfast or even lunch!
