Yupdduk Buena Park

I love going to Yupdduk in diamond bar so I have to show my support at their new location in Buena Park.The menu is the same. They're known for the spicy tteokbokki and of course everything else. We ordered a lot of different dishes. Spicy Tteokbokki, rose tteokbokki, spicy daktoritang, kimbaps, soy sauce chicken wings, egg omelette fried rice, and the tuna rice bowl.I was so excited to dig into everything. The egg omelette spam fried rice was a new dish that I haven't had but it was amazing. Something about spam, eggs and ketchup that just makes so much sense. Soy Sauce chicken wings are 10/10. Rose Tteokbokki is another great dish. is it on the mild spicy side. which is perfect for me. I love dipping my tuna kimbaps with the rose sauce. The restaurant always have a clean vibe, table are spacious to sit. Great for large party as well. Service was great as always.

I read your reply but you mentioned all about how it costs more to operate a business in the States but conveniently omitted to mention that you're charging $30 for the less quality food when it's about $12.50 in Korea. I am very well aware of the difference in cost but if I added all the options to get the same food I got from Korea it would have easily come out to about $45 excluding tax and tip. I guess I won't be able returning customer and I don't think you'd want my business either. Changing my star from 3 to 1.Ordered Mala Rose but the one I had in Korea came with pork belly, tofu skin, BMJ, and Chinese glass noddle as standard but the one I had here had none of those. Not sure if having difference sauce would justify extra $5 on the price tag. Also, you order through kiosk on the table and the servers did nothing else than bringing your food and handing you the bill. They would never check on you unless you call for help. Why do I need to tip them??

This place is really good Korean comfort food. There were so many Tteokbokki (Korean rice cake in stew) to choose from, from Rose one to spicy, from different noodles, like udon to Ramen, many toppings like fish cake and sausage and cheese. It's saucy and huge portions! Come hungry because you'll need your stomach!! They also have other dishes like spam fried rice, saucy and flavorful chicken wings, rice balls that you make yourself at the table, kimbap, katsu, calamari, and more!! Parking was pretty easy because it's in a strip mall. Staff was super nice and the food was great.

Yup Yuuup! This Duck knows what's up and I can't get enough of their stuff and that ain't no bluff. Delicious Korean eats around this part of town? Ok Let's Go! So we got the popular food items that were recommended and they were on point! First up was the Yup DDUK that came with rice cake, fish cake, sausage and cheese and oh man was this on the Delish tip! Next up we had the Yup Ki chicken stew that came with glass noodles, rice cakes and potato and this was so comforting. Both bowls were banging! Besides the bomb A$$ bowls we had a side of Kimbap, pork cutlet and the omelette which were delicious starters. The service was super friendly and they kept checking on us. On the real, they were probably checking on my two Korean foodies since the real test was through them,LoL! But it passed with all of us and that's what's up! And that's my take on it, Peace out...

Review 17/365 Challenge Came here on Saturday night for date night/Valentine celebration w my hubby.I'm really a simple gal and I love Korean food.was originally gonna head to King Chang but was during rush hour/dinner time. Called to see the wait and was informed the wait time. We didn't want to deal with the wait.Than YELPED Gopchang. Got to the plaza and I realized Yupdduk was in same strip of businesses. recall one of my friends coming here before along with seeing this restaurant on my Facebook feed.I love tteokbokki & spice!!!Makes everything nice along saw they have spicy chicken feet!My fav too...Boy it definitely wasn't a disappointment. So glad i decided to give this place a try. It just opened too last month 2.15.25We were greeted by the manager Don when we walked in and was seated right away.You order from the tablet that's on each table.Really easy to order. What we ordered ~ Chicken Feet in Mild was pretty spicy. I recall eating something like this in Korea and it was as good here, meat is soft & tender. Recommended.~ # 2 Rose YupDduk in mild was perfect. Not too spicy. My husband can't eat too spicy, so it was perfect for him. It is really good and the bowl was huge! Can be shared among 2-3 person. Love the cheese on it. Another item you must get here. ~ omelette Rice was good. Just wished it was a bit on the spicy side. Love the cabbage salad it comes with. The dressing was good and creamy. ~ udon is like any other udon. Simple but hit the spot especially on cold days. ~ Ham kimbap was yummy. A great appetizer to enjoy to help with all the spice we had from other dishes. Service was awesome by 2 servers. A boy and a girl. Didn't quite get their name. Restaurant was busy and kept getting foot traffic. It was fully filled. I want to return and try the chicken gizzard, chicken wings were sold out. So didn't get to try that. Simple restaurant with tables & booths. Even a bar height tables and located in same plaza as Van Dyke coffee shop. I use to visit here frequently when i use to live in Fullerton. Along w being a few doors down from Gopchang & Koko chicken Restuarant.Parking was available but can easily get jam packed during dinner hours.

Finally yupdduk by the house!! I love yupdduk and always had to drive to Diamond Bar because the Luvdduk in Cerritos has less items on menu. This location tastes better than the one in Diamond Bar. Got my usual order: yupdduk original, kimchi tuna mayo rice balls, tuna mayo rice balls and soondae!It's where Jopok Ddukbokki used to be.

Big portion sizes and yummy Korean food with good service!! A must try for tteobokki! Easy ordering at your table and relatively decent parking. Tip: get one of their sets (3 to choose from) and customize to add more toppings.What I tried* B set - Yupdduk + 2 eggs + veggie fries (pumpkin and sweet potato) + seaweed rice balls - added fried tofu for extra $$. got the extra mild and it wasn't too spicy but there's a very subtle kick. Definitely enough for 3-4 people and add other sides to chase the spice. I really liked the fried pumpkin dipped in the yup dukk tteobokki sauce. * Tuna Kimbap - a good chaser if you have a low spice tolerance with fresh veggies* Chicken gizzards - comes with side seaweed rice balls. Well marinated.They have milk drinks available if you can't handle the spice and a very high level spicy challenge good for those who can handle the heat. I was surprised they have a secret menu with other dishes like katsu, ramen, udon, chicken wings.

I love it!!!Don't need to drive to k-town for Yupdduk.I'll come again!!!!!!!!!!!! Awesome!

First time trying yupduk in buena park. I've been wanting to try it again in the U.S. after trying it for the first time in korea but I didn't want to drive to ktown la for it. So i want to express my gratitude and appreciation to the owner who worked so hard to open yupduk in buena park because I get to drive 5 min to try it. I got the rose dukbokki added bmj and got the diy riceball. The food was sooo delicious and tasty definitely worth the price however be aware portion is big enough to serve at least 2-3 person so come with your friends or family :). Im sorry for not having the clear picture (ignore caption ) to post on here but you can take my word for it that the food was good. I will definitely come back here soon whenever I got time.
