We used to go to their location in Monterey Park so we were glad to find out they opened up a new location in Rowland Heights / City of Industry. They actually use a tiny wooden bridge to serve all the ingredients with their signature noodle which is pretty cool, and the portion is plenty. They also have a snack bar for fruit and dessert.

I was initially amazed by their house special noodle, hence my second visit. I was very disappointed for this experience. To start off, the presentations of the foods was off-putting (all picture are taken the way it's served). - 酸辣米粉 (stew pork noodle in chicken broth w/sour & spicy sauce) tasted sour, but not spicy at all. The meat is in small bits but tender, the dish is pretty good compare to the rest of the items.- 三鲜米粉 (shrimp, chicken and squid noodle) was more bland compare to their house special. My biggest issue with this dish is the freshness of the ingredients. The carrot had visible gray/black spot (I forgot to take picture after taking all of the carrot out, but some spots can still be seen in the images). They were even more noticeable in person and covers wider areas. - Juicy pork dumpling was oversteamed and had burst open, so skins was slimy and the filling was dry. It seems like they do not care about any of their other dishes besides the house special noodle. I would no longer recommend this location based on this visit.

Their yunnan house special rice noodle is really yummy and the bridge set is really cute and such an apt way to complement the dish's Chinese name (bridge-crossing rice noodle)We enjoyed and appreciate the appetizers section as you walk right in. We enjoyed all the apps we selected: cucumber salad (not spicy), spicy pig ears, and spicy king oyster mushroomWe ordered a water boiled fish and it was a decent portion. They also have a self serve bar with fruits and dessert soup. The one with the amber jelly was really yummy and refreshing! Will be back!

The duck dish's flavor was really good though too soupy, while the fish was average and lackluster. The chicken dish was free and was really tender, despite the cucumber was too soft and not crunchy. The place has a nice ambiance.

This place has really good authentic Yunnan noodles soup. I like how they have all the ingredients on a bridge. The Translation of the noodle soup is "crossing the bridge rice noodle," so it really symbolizes the name of the soup. The ingredients are typical, but I am very impressed with the soup base. The soup is not just in a regular bowl but in a stone pot, which can keep it warm for longer. Another bonus is that they have all the Yunnan side dishes available in the front. I tried a few, and they are delicious. I definitely will return soon.

We have visited Yunnan Restaurant in the City of Industry a few times already, and their taste is pretty consistent. I believe they have an original store in Monterey Park with the same owner. I ate there a long time ago. They serve Yunnan-style cuisine along with some Sichuan dishes. I like their Yunnan House Special Rice Noodle ($14.99); it has a huge portion, which I can never finish by myself. The Pork Blood Curd Combination Hot Pot ($26.99) was pretty good. If you like spicy hot pot, order this. The Szechuan Special Cured Crispy Duck ($20.99) was great; I rarely find this dish done well in other restaurants, but theirs was delicious and not too dry, just perfect! The Garlic Pork Ribs ($18.99) were pretty good as well. The Yunnan Style Steamed Chicken Soup ($15.99) was really great. The Chung King Pork Intestines with Hot Pepper ($18.99) were too spicy for me. Don't order this if you don't like spicy food. The Shredded Pork with Beijing Sauce & Crepe ($16.99) was good; the kids loved this dish. They also have a variety of cold dishes you can pick from at the front. The service was good. Even though it looks chaotic inside the restaurant, if you call them, they respond right away. The prices are very reasonable. We will definitely visit again. It's good for both lunch and dinner.

Had to stop by this spot before leaving Socal! The servers were welcoming and sat us once we came in. The portions are pretty good also. I had ordered Stew Pork Noodle and had shared with my partner! So filling and very hearty. My friend also had their appetizers which you see when you walk into the restaurant. It was my first time trying pig ears!

I always crave spicy appetizers and had no idea there was a spot like this nearby! Now, my stomach has to brace itself for the heat every time. They offer 10+ spicy options, and you can choose 1, 2, or 3 types per carryout box. Sometimes, they're really generous with portions, though it can depend on who's serving...haha! If you're into spice, this place is worth checking out. They also have some non-spicy cold dishes if you're looking for a milder option. I've dined in a couple of times too; the food is decent, though the portions could be bigger for the price. Still, I'd recommend giving it a try!

Food is pretty salty, and noodles were slightly uncooked in areas. Service is ok and cold dishes are decent though.
