This is a great hot pot option. You fill your bowl with the food and amount you want, choose a broth (or dry) and they will serve it to you. It's currently $14.99/lb. There's also a station to make sauces. The man was very kind and walked us through all the steps, checked on us, and offered to create a sauce as well.I will add there's about 5-7 tables for 4 people each and there was a show (presumably in Chinese) playing but so other music or anything so you can really hear everything that's happening.

Yoooo f the haters the chicken wings here are fire. I usually go to bb.q chicken to get my chicken wings fix but I have found a new spot. I haven't tried the other food that they offer, but based on the reviews it seems people are ordering the wrong thing. Just get the fried chicken here people.

Our order: Sichuan peppercorn soup base + a variety of ingredientsFor people unfamiliar with malatang, it is a Chinese street food similar to hot pot but you don't have to do any of the cooking. Yummy Yummy features a buffet table where you select your desired ingredients, put them in a bowl to be weighed, and taken to the back to be cooked in your chosen soup base. Typically, you wouldn't drink the soup but at this restaurant you can. The Sichuan peppercorn soup was a little numbing, a little tingling but largely just pork bone broth goodness. The variety of ingredients were lacking here but I can forgive that considering 1) it is open until 2AM and 2) they sell delicious coconut jelly desserts (check out my Kokonut review!) and awesome-looking fried chicken. This massive bowl took care of my drunken munchies and prepped my body for a deep sleep into 2023. The owner and server were super busy that night but they still took time to converse and interact with their customers. Limited dine-in space and a couple of tables are taken up by DoorDash/Uber Eats orders.

Came her for late night eats on a Saturday night with no expectations. Food was delicious! Chicken chow mein was good and spicy (spice optional). The fried chicken thighs were crispy and the lychee green tea not too sweet. Fish balls were good but I could have used a little more of their delicious sauce. Service was a little slow, but we were not in a hurry so all good.

This place has become a favorite for my boyfriend and I whenever we want something cheap and filling for dinner without worrying about the place closing soon (they're open until 2am!). We've come several times now and every visit has been solid. We've only tried the malatang here so far. There's a pretty large variety of items you can pick and choose from. I love that they have things like tripe, tea eggs, and frog legs. The bowls for picking your items are gigantic so make sure your eyes aren't bigger than your stomach. Usually my soups come up to only $10, very reasonable for a filling noodle soup. The most I've ever been charged was $13 when I was extra hungry and loaded my bowl full of meat. My favorite soups are the tomato broth and the chicken broth! My boyfriend and I have gone so often that the owner (I think?) recognizes us now and says hello and smiles when he sees us. :) He doesn't speak a lot of English, and neither of us speak Chinese, but we just point to the soup or drink options we want and it's all good. He even reminded us of the complimentary sauce bar when he noticed we weren't taking advantage of it.The place is clean and tables are always wiped down when we visit. We're hoping to try out the spicy dry pot the next time we visit!

TL;DRThis place steals your food and is disrespectful to customers. Can't blame them but it might have something to do with the owner as the leader sets the tone. Very disappointing. This place still tastes meh - its ok, but just remember to keep an eye out when coming here ;) --------------Full reviewWow...just wow... Was pretty happy with this place up until today when I noticed something different with my order. They took some of the food I placed in my bowl. This restaurant is a "fast food" hot pot place. You take a bowl pick your items, weight it, and they cook it for you.Eating here back them my friend always suspected that they took some food out the bowl, but I told him no way, and gave this place the benefit of the doubt. Eating here again today I noticed I am missing some items I chose, and can't do anything about it as I placed it for togo. How sneaky of them. I am disappointed. No wonder, I always took a mountain of tripe, and always wondered why the serving is so small. Maybe if it shrunk that much, but after today I got my answer. They steal your food. C'mon now. What type of restaurant steals food from customers? Trust it broken. Sad. Came here for the sausage topping to come to find out that it has been taken out by the cooks. It's not so much that the food is less, but the fact that deed is made. This place used to be nostalgic as I came here a few times last time, but now look what it has become. idk why but I felt like the front desk guy led off a small burp when walking past by me from the bathroom. I raised my eyebrow, as my gut feeling just felt that way, but then I think the big boss came in and I again felt that she was mocking me in Mandarin. If my gut feeling is right, which I do believe would sense if things are off. Then no surprise that stealing and disrespectful behavior is allowed. No wonder this place looks more empty than usual.TL;DRThis place steals your food and is disrespectful to customers. Can't blame them but it might have something to do with the owner as the leader sets the tone. Very disappointing. This place still tastes meh - its ok, but just remember to keep an eye out when coming here ;)

I never leave yelp reviews but I do eat out ALOT. This place has some super good fried chicken (spicy wings r my go to) and the hotpot is good too. Almost all of the cooked items will not disappoint. I go here once a week and my gf eats the hot pot I cannot have this close bc of some bullshit reviews.

Awful. I think this place gave me mild food poisoning!! My colleague and I came here for lunch today. Service was very bad. They provided tongs to pick the food that included raw meat and put it into a giant bowl. You ended up roughing the raw meat and the vegetables and the fish all with the same tongs. Then you gave them the bowl to weigh and then you pointed to the picture on the wall for the soup. Eventually food comes out. The one person there did not speak English... and I don't speak Chinese either. So really no communication on what to do. The menu was all in Chinese too. The food was actually ok but not worth the price. The green vine soup base was tasty and better when you add the toppings. We didn't read the reviews before coming, but if we had we would not have tried this spot. An hour or so after eating my stomach began to hurt. It's kept hurting on and off all day now. Absolutely not worth the somewhat interesting flavour of the hot pot! Avoid!!
