I've been coming to Yoshinoya locations since 1993-1994. Been to over 50+ locations, just got back from Japan 3 weeks ago and had more Yoshinoya. This is my ideal comfort food for the weather coast. Some people prefer burgers, I love gyudon. Just wanted to say briefly that the general manager here and staff cooking in the back, were wonderful. GM had a sweet motherly personality, excited to work at the start of her shift (it was 10:10am) and we talked briefly about how long she's worked for the company and how much she enjoys the food, almost as much as myself. Service was 10/10.Food is the same delicious comfort food. It's a little different than in Japan, but it's still good. Like I said, I prefer this over burgers and fries. This may not be for everyone, but it's quick and tasty, good value for what you get. Gyudon (beef) could be a bit fatty for some people, but it's where the flavor is. Either you will like eating here or you don't. Give this place a try, it deserves at least 4+ stars, but since I'm biased and the staff was awesome, I'm giving it a 5. My closer location in Fullerton closed and is being rebuilt to a smaller location, but not once was the service as good as this location. This might be my new "home" location for Yoshinoya.Small update : picture attached of the food. Portion as expected, food looks and taste yummy.

My partner and I got some Yoshinoya coupons in the mail, and I saw that they had karaage (Tokyo Fried Chicken) so I wanted to try it.This location is very clean and the service was quick. We were helped by a very nice and patient male cashier. We ended up ordering 2 large bowls: 1 with the gyudon beef and tokyo fried chicken, and the other with teriyaki chicken and habanero chicken. Both were with white rice and veggies. The coupon made it so that we paid around $15 for both.Regarding the food itself, they pack a lot of rice. They basically fill the takeout box with rice and then they put the meat and veggies on top of the rice. I literally got 5 pieces of chicken lol and the beef was a little dry. Their tokyo fried chicken tasted EXACTLY like karaage tho. Very well seasoned so I would highly recommend trying it!I wouldn't recommend the habanero chicken or teriyaki chicken. Both were kinda dry.All in all, if you don't wanna cook and you're craving karaage or gyudon, def go to yoshinoya :)

This location does not know the meaning of Japanese food. The food is not seasoned, bland chicken undercooked, fatty meat, and crunchy yellow onions! It was the worst money spent! This location has gone to crap over the years!! They always say, we'll do better!! WHEN???????

Not bad the typical Yoshinoya beef bowl. I came here the other day after my dentist appointment and ordered a large beef bowl to go. Food was a little salty, but otherwise, just as I remembered it still satisfying.

On a late evening after a gym session I was craving flame broiler. Unfortunately they closed at 9pm.... Luckily this place is open until 10pm!This is my first time at this location so didn't know what to expect. I liked that their bowls had an udon noodle option for a base along with the regular rice and veggies.I got the teriyaki ribeye steak bowl combo and enjoyed it. I thought it was good, but it was lacking something... can't put my finger on it. I also got the gyoza on the side. This was okay too, lacking some flavor. The tempura orange chicken could have used more sauce, but it was crispy. I asked if they had any house made sauces for the bowls and they just had soy and siracha packets. So that was a downer too. Maybe my experience would be better not at the tail end of the night? However, I still prefer flame broiler. BUT, for $22 the price wasn't too shabby. (2 bowls, one Gyoza and soda) I will say customer service was great and it was very clean.

They ran out of straws for boba tea. So in order to drink said boba, I had to peel off the lid and remove some ice to access the boba at the bottom. After removing NINE large ice cubes, I was left with, at best, 3/4 cup of slightly tea flavoured sugar water. What a ripoff.Also, something is seriously wrong with their beef. I do not suffer a weak stomach; street food, spicy hot pot, Mexican food, you name it. But somehow, this stuff made me violently ill within 30 minutes. I almost didn't make it home.

Wow the quickest cleanest Yoshinoya I've been to. Ordered and then before I decided which table to sit at the order was ready. Quick/hot/great portions at this location. The cashier Perla was nice and sweet taking orders as I sat and finish my beef bowl. They honor all deals on the app and flyers being sent to your home. Parking- A plenty though it is in the corner of a busy intersection. Going in and out might be difficult.Great music selection late 90s-early 2000s dance/r&b/popNo Drive Thru here remember to order ahead on app during lunch/dinner rush hours. There are tons of offers on there to save you some money. Rewards also after certain accumulation.

Place is clean, well- lit and spacious. Staff were nice, though i felt a bit rush when i ordered. I ordered beef bowl and thai boba. Beef tasted really good, though i think the portion has lessened. I wanted to try their Thai milk tea with boba and I was very disappointed. It tasted very diluted. I do not recommend it. I will just get boba drinks at a boba place in the future.

I was in a crunch from working late and trying to make it to my class on time. I needed a quick dinner. Yoshinoya to the rescue. I ordered the beef and chicken combo. Everything was fresh and yummy. I reccomend the chicken well done, as it makes the skin crunchy. I asked for no sesame seeds and my special orders were met. Service was quick and polite. The ambiance was clean and organized. 2 thumbs up from me.
