I came here a few times before the pandemic and it holds tons of college memories for me, since I was there after 10 PM.You can't go wrong with digging in their bachans (Korean side dishes) at a Korean restaurant. Everything was seasoned perfectly and just to my liking. Utensils and napkins are provided at the tables. One of the times here, I ordered the Combo at regular pricing and it was definitely worth the deal. I decided on Galbi and Tofu Combo, and it hit just the spot, especially on a cold winter night. They are pretty accurate when it came to spiciness level. Some of the other things I've ordered included mushroom tofu soup, ham & cheese soup, and kimbap. Recently, the restaurant started selling boba/tea drinks from a brand they partnered with. The brand is called Tea Joint (https://www.instagram.com/teajointusa/). They have two flavors I believe from when I last went. The drinks are labeled with the date brewed to ensure that the drinks are made and sold fresh. I can't explain how much I love their Camellia Green Tea. The tea is so fragrant, I wanted to sniff it all up. I ended up ordering directly from the source themselves. With service, I am always welcomed with a warm smile by all the workers. Despite this place always being packed, the little old ladies are always in a happy mood to welcome more customers. I believe this business is owned by a family, as well as Tea Joint. I find myself returning back again and again, not only for the great memories, but also for the delicious food that makes me feel at home.

We were looking for a late night place to satisfy our cravings for a hot soup on a windy cold night when we parked in front of YEI SAN JIB! The moment we walked in, we were greeted and guided to our table. We decided to get the combo meal, bulgogi and bbq pork, seafood tofu soup, which included rice and 4 side dishes. The food is very good, tofu soup is excellent! I would definitely go back to this place. The service is excellent.

This was the place to go back in the 90's.Food was always good and service was fantastic.Sorry to say, but this place gets worse and worse everything I go now.Ordered Sul lung tang and black giagoat soup.No 깻잎 at all in the black goat soup and no kimchi or 깍두기 for my sul lung tang. This should conclude my visit to this restaurant. I don't see anything in this place worth visiting.

Homey Korean spot. Came here for a dinner on a Saturday night at 8pm and got seated immediately. It's a cozy spot with Korean classics. My group shared assorted tofu soup, bulgogi, chicken soup, and chicken katsu. The bulgogi was tasty and came out sizzling hot. The chicken soup was on the blander side but the broth would be good for anyone who was getting over a cold (as my boyfriend was). The chicken katsu was well fried and came with a side of rice and cabbage; the sauce that came on top taster a bit ketchup-y. The tofu soup was the star of the show for me - it comes with an egg that you crack yourself and there was a good mix of seafood. It wasn't too spicy but was flavorful. Overall, a good spot for a casual meal. They accept credit cards and there's free lot parking. If the lot is full, there is a residential neighborhood with free parking a short walk away.

I had the sulung tang soup (it comes piping hot, boiling) and the spam korean rolls (gimbap). I enjoyed it. It reminded me of my mom's cooking. The lady from the kitchen even came out to tell me to eat well, which was nice. The restaurant is clean and the waitress was really nice too.

The ginseng chicken soup was really good. Mild, comforting, refreshing. It's a mini chicken stuffed with garlic and sticky rice.I got to-go and they packed an extra cup for soup. Yes, definitely want more soup when I want to be comforted.

Hubs and I came to Yei San Jib after watching a movie nearby this past weekend and were in the area. We wanted BCD nearby, but the wait was pretty long for 9/10pm so we were just going to head home when he remembered this Korean tofu house in this plaza on the way to the freeway. There were only a few tables taken when we walked in, but it did get crowded after we sat down and ordered. Very much a mom-and-pop restaurant feel & hubby remembers coming here for late night meals when he lived nearby years ago. Great for those looking for a place open later (especially weekends!).They only had 3 banchans when we dined in: japchae, broccoli with gochujang and some sweet marinated potatoes. I ordered their Bossam (Pork Belly) Combo with Assorted (Beef & Seafood) Tofu Soup. It really hit the spot for me. Hubby ordered #15 Deep Boiled Beef Soup (Sulungtang) & he really liked the flavor of the broth here, perfect seasoning.Late night crowd with large parties came in while we were dining, so it was busy for the two workers manning FOH, but they also have a little robot to assist. Restrooms in the back of the restaurant were fairly clean. Parking is shared with other restaurants & stores in the plaza.

Cozy Korean spot that seems to be a neighborhood staple for families in the area. Food is just alright but some more quality control needed. We got a dinner combo of the bossam and mul naengmyeon cold noodle. I liked that the bossam was served hot. Served with plenty of lettuce for wrapping although they could definitely have more quality control on the lettuce (more than a few leaves weren't cleaned properly or had unappetizing spoilage). The mul naengmyeon broth was a bit too sweet and I tired of the flavor after a while.Banchan was simple but it's always nice to have extra veggies to snack on. Hot barley tea had a burnt flavor, perhaps over steeped.

Stopped by this restaurant to get some food to go and the worker there was very friendly. He answered all of my questions nicely and I was able to make a purchase with my credit card even with the credit card minimum. I hate carrying cash around with me so I was relieved that my order exceeded the minimum. While I was waiting for my food, my friend and I noticed a familiar bottle in the fridge! It was Tea Joint's tea bottle. We (more so my friend) are actually acquainted with the owners of Tea Joint so it was a surprise to see their drinks in a Korean restaurant. Of course we purchased one each to show support. I ate the food at home and it was delicious. A bit too salty imo but I added some water and it was good to go!ALSO they have fair pricing on all their food. It's a couple bucks cheaper than literally all other food places. Yall should really take advantage of their prices
