**December 2023: Saturday Early Afternoon Visit**I had visited this bakery in the past and was in the market for a delicious "not too sweet cake." When I came to Yelp to look at photos some of the recent reviews made me concerned that perhaps the quality had gone down, and that it was no longer what it use to be. I was tasked to get a cake for my mom's birthday and I obviously didn't want to disappoint. Regardless, I decided to take a chance and see for myself. When I entered there were a fairly good selection of cakes. I was super curious to try the sweet potato, but the fruit cake just looked so majestic that I opted for that. I also saw some croquettes that looked as if they were freshly baked so I picked up two of those as well. After I left a swarm of middle-aged asian women flocked to the store to buy cakes, so I'm glad I got mine while the display case still have options. When I saw my parents I gave them each a croquettes and my dad liked it so much he asked me where I got it. I guess when I'm in La Palma I'll be grabbing more of those lol As for the cake - it was a huge hit! The cake itself was moist, soft and spongy, and the cream was fluffy, light and a tad sweeter than Taiwanese bakeries but my whole family thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm somewhat surprised at some of the poor reviews, because I had a really positive experience. For my 10 inch fruit cake it was $38, which I can guarantee you would have costed $50+ at any other Asian bakery, without compromising quality, and the Korean woman who helped me was very nice. I even got candles and a cake knife! I absolutely give this place two thumbs up. If you're debating on whether you should make a visit I don't think you'd be disappointed. Bon Appetit!

Delicious cakes!! sweet potato, blueberry or strawberry filled with creme. Also mocha.Very light and delicious!! Great for any party or just to enjoy!

The bakery store is located in the corner spot not far from the grocery store, amble parking in the shared lot. It has limited categories of cakes and pastry stuff, though the bread was very soft and snack sized bakery were crunchy.

Always good baked goods and friendly ladies. Got blueberry cake and fruit cake. Blueberry cake was better. If you need a larger size cake, order a few days ahead. Their prices are much better than other chain korean bakeries. Next time I will plan ahead and order in advance. Their castellammare is good too. I usually get the green one (either green tea or 쑥, but can't remember which). It's good either way.

There are MANY of these kinds of bakeries around, but this one is basically Korean. I've been here three times and specifically for the mochi bun with black sesame seeds. They normally sell out if you don't come before 10 a.m. I'm a total bread lover so there's nothing I haven't liked. Yes, I'll be back when I'm in the area again.

Rare Korean bakery w/ all the goods. Our family have been coming here since probably before I was born. We get all our birthday cakes here. Their cream puffs are nostalgic for me. They also have new items to trend w/ the times. I highly recommend trying them out!!!

Small Korean bakery, with a lot of goods baked in-house. Two locations (in La Palma, the other in Buena Park). Prices are reasonable, and the two items we got (one roll, and one scone) were fresh and very soft. Good place to stop by for a quick sweet bread snack.

Kids and I decided to get a snack after their piano lesson nearby. We went in to an empty store and as we browsed the lady at the counter just looked annoyed. When we finally picked our bread we go over to the counter and my 8 year old daughter tries to make small talk and tells her that her store is so cute. Lady didn't even acknowledge her and was so rude. When I walked out I asked my 8 and 10 year old if they thought she was mean and they both agreed that she seemed extremely unhappy. I thought maybe I was being a Karen so I yelped them and sure enough the lady is notorious for being awful. There are so many pastry stores around the area, but we wanted to give a small hole it the wall some service. Better going down the street to tours les jours for bread.

Terrible customer service. We bought bread at 9AM and noticed a pungent smell coming from the bread. It was definitely expired and old and they didn't even say sorry.

Super yummy food! Fresh and delicious. Great prices too. Friendly and helpful staff. Smells wonderful and very clean.
