Had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at Wood Ranch BBQ & Grill! Our server, Alexis, was amazing--attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. We ordered the beef ribs, baby back ribs, Buckeye burger, and buffalo wings, and everything was cooked to perfection. The ribs were tender and flavorful, the burger was juicy and packed with delicious toppings, and the buffalo wings had just the right amount of heat. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was top-notch. We'll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend!

Wood Ranch Cerritos is a solid dining option. My group stopped by before a concert at the nearby Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts, just a short walk away. To our surprise, the place was packed by 6:30 PM, but we were fortunate enough to have a reservation. The ambiance reminded me of Houston's, and I was particularly impressed with the cleanliness and maintenance of the restrooms. As for the food, everything was great. We started with a small spinach dip, served with crispy chips and a flavorful red salsa to complement the dip. For my main course, I had the Ethan's Smoked Brisket Sandwich, paired with a side of perfectly steamed broccoli, lightly salted. The sandwich was delicious, with Tillamook® Swiss, Carolina slaw, pickles, and Thousand Island dressing, all tucked inside a toasted brioche bun.The bar offers a nice selection of draft beers and freshly made cocktails. For those who want a bit of entertainment, you'll find TVs showing sports. On this particular night, we watched the USA NHL All-Star team face off against the Canadian All-Star team. While the prices are on the higher end, the experience justifies it. Our group of four ended up spending around $250, which included a few top-shelf mixed drinks.

Stopped in for a dinner before heading out for a show. Had the happy hour bake potatoes. Potato was cut in half with BBQ sauce, chicken and cheese. Very good start. Wife & I split the BBQ chicken plate and ordered a side salad. Again it was very good. Service was awesome as we sat at the bar. Place was not busy so service and food came out quickly and hot.

We come to this southern California chain relatively often, as it is one of my 93-year-old father-in-law's favorite places. The atmosphere is nice, especially now during the holidays--white lights everywhere! It's what you would expect s place called Wood Ranch to look like--lots of wood, beamed ceilings, cowboy art. The servers are always so nice and they to accommodate us with FIL's wheelchair. The food here is consistently good. I always order the same thing--baby back ribs, peanut coleslaw (soooooo good) and mashed potatoes. The test of the family changes it up a bit--burgers, salads, brisket, and soup. All good If you come around 7:00 pm without a reservation, expect a wait. It seems like this place is always full.

I came here for lunch today after working a rare night shift .Wood Ranch has a nice Homie vibe decor. RENE the bartender was very attentive and kind and help me making some decisions on what to get the liquid candy. IPA was really good. I really enjoyed the salad with the grilled salmon. I've never had a bad meal here. You Can't go wrong with this place. The Food is always as you hope it will be.

Visit this location for lunch last Friday received excellent customer service from the hostess and our waitress and also Cali. It's very hard these days to find excellent customer service and great food all at one place my hats off to the chef definitely to the waitresses that work very hard and also to a very nice guy by the name of Cali. Cali keep up the great job that you're doing. It's amazing. You've all you have been there almost 20 years. I believe you've been there since Wood Ranch barbecue has opened in Cerritos. That's amazing thank you for always doing a great job. May you always be appreciated thank you for your kindness.

I have waited to eat at Wood Ranch for so long now and I finally got to try it for a weekend birthday celebration with my family.I'd like to say that I really appreciate the service given to us here. I went in expecting to wait a very long time to be seated. We were a party of 8 and when I walked in, the restaurant was packed. The hostess assured me that I would not have to wait longer than ten minutes for us to be seated. A huge relief. Also, our server (I didn't quite catch his name) was fantastic. Even though the place was so extremely busy and full on a Sunday night, he consistently made rounds on us and made sure we had water and anything else we may have needed. Shoutout to him!I was also pleasantly surprised by the fact that the food came out for all of us rather quickly, or at least that's what it felt like. I had a 7 oz tri tip, with a side of Mac and cheese and peanut coleslaw. What stood out most was definitely the Tri tip, from the tenderness of the steak right down to the seasoning they use on it. I loved every bite of it.I'd love to return here one day to try some of the other things on the menu as I get the feeling all of it is probably really good. But for now, I'm happy to say that I had a great experience at Wood Ranch.

We planned on coming here to dine before a concert but there were no reservations available. We figured we would take our chances anyway and go there. The dining room was full but there was plenty of room in the bar area and we were seated immediately. They also have a patio if you would like to dine outside.I can't remember the name of our bartender/server but I think it began with M. It's a small world because she was about to get off work to go to the same concert! She gave great service and was very friendly.I dine here periodically and always get the Wood Ranch tri-tip cooked medium (the lowest temperature available). It has a nice coat of regular BBQ sauce on it but I always order an extra side so I can soak every bite in it. The BBQ sauce has a nice sweetness that is not too sweet. They also have two other BBQ sauces but I like the original flavor the best. My girlfriend got a veggie burger and enjoyed it. We both got fries as our side and they had a nice crisp and there was a good quantity.

Good food, great service and nice comfortable seating areas. It's hard to find good barbecue in this area and this place fits the bill.

My wife and I went to dinner at Wood Ranch at the suggestion from the front desk at the hotel where we were staying, it was fantastic! We arrived at around 6:00pm on a Saturday night and there was a big line waiting for tables--a good sign. We asked about eating at the bar, and when when we got to the bar area a very cool waiter named Mark offered us a table at the corner of the bar (I'm a wheelchair user and the bar is a bit tall to eat off of.Mark's service was fast, friendly and attentive. When I mentioned I have celiac (severe reaction to gluten) Mark explained that the chef and kitchen staff are well informed about food allergies and can adapt 'almost' any item on the menu. Wife had the brisket and I had the tri tip (7oz portions). Both were fantastic! Outstanding service and outstanding food. Great atmosphere as well. We will be back.
