Vinny's Italian Restaurant

I've been driving by Vinny's Italian restaurant for a decade and finally decided to stop by. One thing's for sure--Vinny's delivers on first impressions! It was a delightful discovery to learn that Vinny's cousins come to SoCal for the winter, and during the five months they're here, they whip up some incredibly tasty soups. The Chicken Pot Pie Soup was simply perfect in proving that homestyle comfort feeling. Their Gnocchi in Pesto is hands down one of the best I've ever had; each bite was a little bit of heaven. My wife had the Chicken Parm Sandwich, and it didn't disappoint either.Vinny's offers a very family-oriented atmosphere and you can tell it's a beloved spot for the local community. While the service was a bit slow, the friendly staff and the food more than made up for it. We will definitely be back.

Make sure to order a day in advance. Ordered a pizza and sat for an hour! We watched pizzas rolling out to tables that were sat after us. I have never seen a group of servers walk in as many circles as this crew does. Excuse after excuse we were over it, they said they would comp the pizza. Ok great. So as I go to use Apple Pay for a $13 salad and coke at the counter the same waitress begins to tell me that it not accepted there and never has been, on and on and on. I'm almost positive I've used it at this establishment prior. I think it finally clicked with the server this guy is over it. She said just take the pizza and all is on the house. There comes a point to which one is totally over the situation and would not take the items even if they were paid to. Vinny's you guys have good food but man that service / kitchen speed needs a tune up.

It's been 15 years since I last visited Vinnie's. After moving to South OC, I didn't get many chances to come back, but work has brought me to the area. Naturally, I couldn't resist checking in on one of my all-time favorites.I went with the chicken club, and as always, it was incredible! These days, plenty of chains are charging the same price for their large subs, but if I'm going to spend $17, it's going to be on quality like this.

Great family restaurant, super tasty and amazing pizza! And the tiramisu is out of this world fluffy !

First time here, the food was amazing! Had the cheese garlic bread and fried zucchini sticks, beef ravioli and my husband the chicken parmigiana.

Best Italian food around, great atmosphere. Friendly staff, amazing Italian food. big portions and good pricing.

A coworker and I ate dinner here last night. Our server was exceptional. Like, maybe some people might not like her, but they'd be wrong. She was friendly, knowledgeable, funny, and very accommodating. She provided great service!It was so fun to sit in this casual, laid-back restaurant and enjoy a very filling and hearty meal. Literally my only complaint about the food was that my salad had a little bit too much dressing on it, but it was homemade blue cheese and I really have a hard time complaining about that.The penne and lasagna dishes were both exceptional, and their marinara sauce comes from three generations of cooks over the last 20 years at this great establishment.I don't live in the area, but I sure wish I did because I'd eat here OFTEN.

Another visit. I was hungry and looking for options. And this is my local new goto. Don't want to frequent as I want it to be once a week. Food quality is by far the best I have eaten for Italian food. Soups are made from starch and the salad is super fresh. I love the service and the homely feel. My friends first time here and he was surprised for this gem I found. Wish their hours are longer. My friend took all the theme photos and uploaded in fb. Also got chicken Philly sandwich to go with it

We stopped by on Super Bowl Sunday for lunch. They were very busy with catering and to-go orders but they were doing their best. It took a while to get our pizza but it was to be expected. The food was wonderful. The place is always bright and comfortable. Unfortunately some other family decided to make a fuss about the wait (though they came after everyone else that was waiting patiently) and they let their kids make a mess and then had them loudly listening to some show on a tablet. Then made a scene storming out. The staff did their best but some people just want to complain.

Great food and service. Super yummmmmm.Come and eat here you'll love it. Order the pizza
