This is not your traditional Vietnamese food, because traditional Vietnamese cooking doesn't use vegan recipes. Nevertheless, you are not short-changed for flavor when you dine here. The food is full of flavors and the broth rich. There are many intriguing options on the menu, and you won't be disappointed by them.Even though eating a plant-based diet is healthy, the "meat" has been heavily processed. It's likely better off consuming plant protein from a less-processed source.The drink selection is also fascinating, even though paying more than $8 for a drink is rather steep. My coconut jelly drink is satisfying, but it's a bit too sweet for my taste.The owner and his brother are both endurance athletes, so there's a "wall of glory" featuring many of their medals, including some iron man races.

I was in Orange County for work today, and I always struggle finding healthy places to eat when I travel for work. I googled "healthy vegan food near me" and this place popped up. It was heaven sent! The moment I walked in, I saw healthy drinks that they sell at Erewhon and Whole Foods, so I knew right away this place was going to be good. A young employee named Christine helped me figure out what to order, as I asked for suggestions on something healthy and not fried. She was so sweet! The dish I ordered was light but very tasty. The tofu melted in your mouth. The shrimp was made out of a root vegetable. The flavors were delicious. I didn't feel bloated or heavy afterwards. I took some leftovers home (that's how good it was). She said there's a location in Reseda closer to where I live, and I hope it's just as yummy with a clean vibe.Will definitely be back and strongly recommend for anyone who wants delicious, healthy vegan food.

I usually come here for their spring rolls and they're always super tasty! I tried their khoi fried rice for the first time and I loved it. It's a vegan dish but all the proteins have really nice texture and flavor. I don't necessarily seek out veg or vegan places but this place is one of the best.

As a vegetarian, I was so excited to find this all-plant-based Vietnamese restaurant. I just wanted a little snack, so I ordered the sexy buns. I thought the dish name was questionable, but the buns were indeed sexy. The bun bread was perfectly crispy on the outside and pillowy soft inside, the vegan meat had great texture and flavor, and the veggies were crunchy and fresh. So so good and I want to go back and get these again, and also I want to try everything!!

Their reseda location was my first favorite vegan restaurant in the valley and I've wanted to try their Cerritos location since it opened. This location was just as tasty! Their menu is vast and the server couldn't answer the questions I had about the menu. The restaurant is spacious and has a small store of vegan items for purchase.

I had to try the sexy buns!For some reason, I haven't been able to try them. I think I get too carried away wanting to try different things on the menu. And I always forget about the sexy buns. Finally, I got to try them. And they did not disappoint. They are pretty good! I loved the meat inside them and the flavor of the BBQ sauce. That is really tasty. I'm not a fan of the slaw or onions, or whatever comes on it. I picked that stuff off and just ate the buns and meat lol That sounds weird, but it was delicious! The buns are so fresh and good. They don't taste like regular hamburger buns you would get anywhere else. They are so unique tasty. And significantly better than most hamburger buns! The shrimp rolls are my all-time favorite and I always get those. I can't have Vinh Loi without those shrimp rolls!! They are just too dang good.

First visit to Vinh Loi so I didn't know what to expect. Small resto located in the strip mall behind the Cerritos Fire Station off of South Street. Resto is very clean with refrigerated case of beverages and vegan snacks for purchase on the L as you walk in. Came for lunch with the kiddo and his friend. Seated immediately and ordered soon after. Lots of items to choose from - pho, curry soup, ramen, udon, and more. I settled on the curry soup, subbing out the rice noods for brown rice. I didn't realize the sub was an addtl $4...didn't see that indicated on the menu (could have missed seeing an added charge in the menu..) and the server didn't mention an up charge. Kids had the nuggets with peanut sauce and orange chix fried rice.Food came out quickly. Kids enjoyed their dishes and I liked my dish - light curry forward broth with pieces of fried tofu and meatless chix strips. The strips were surprisingly tasty and the owner (?) told me they are soy based.Overall I was happy with the food. Lunch for 3 without drinks came to $60 before tip. Pricey, but I've a feeling vegan food is much more difficult and expensive to produce.

2nd time here and will be a consistent patron!The parking is shared with several restaurants but there is ample parking. The restrooms are clean but only one person at a time.The interior is spacious and clean.The orange chicken fried rice was really really delicious. I highly recommend this. The banh mi was huge and delicious.The spring rolls were all really great as well. Honestly I don't think you could go wrong with anything on the menu. The service is friendly and fast. I will return and save room for dessert next time

This place is great. Extensive Vietnamese vegan menu centered around seitan like meat replacements. We got a "duck" sushi roll and a couple rice dishes and it was seriously enough for 4 people. I'd recommend maybe a soup and a main for 2 people to share. Order as you go. Nice wait staff and pleasant owner. They sell some unique vegan groceries too. Very casual.
