With so many choices for sushi restaurant in Chino Hills, Vanilla Fish stands out due to the cheerful, fun and lively atmosphere.One special dish you can only get here is the ALBACADO, which is albacore topped with slices of avocado in the shape of a ball, finished with tasty eel sauce. They only make a limited number daily so come early otherwise it maybe sold out.The blue crab hand roll is one of our favorite. Paired with sake bomb for a fun evening with friends or casual date night.Escolar is on the menu and worth trying.Service is prompt and friendly. Everything here is tasty so don't be afraid to try different things on the menu or ask the chef for something special.Pro tip: sit at the bar for a great time interacting with the chef, who may even buy you a round or two of drinks to toast.

Vanilla Fish has a wide selection of cut rolls - a couple of stand outs include the Rock n Roll and Butterfield Roll. Their chirashi bowl is another of my favorites here. Occasionally, I like to have fresh wasabi with my sushi for that extra kick and it's nice to see a place that offers it. However, it's a $5 charge for a small portion which seems steep to me. The restaurant is small and offers an intimate, cozy feel when dining. The staff is friendly and helpful. The quality of their fish is generally good, although there are occasional misses. Despite this, Vanilla Fish remains a solid choice for sushi in Chino Hills, offering a range of options to explore.

Good Sushi and friendly service. We eat lunch there and the prices are reasonable for what you receive.

Came here for lunch with some friends. This was my first time and I gotta say, I will be returning! I got the 3 item bento box. Lunch price is $15.99, not bad! I got the salmon teriyaki, 4 piece sushi, and mixed vegetable tempura. Comes with a side salad and miso soup. Everything was delicious! The only issue is the reason why I didn't give 5 stars was the tempura sauce. It tasted more like ponzu sauce like sweet tangy flavor. Tempura sauce is suppose to be more of a light mild flavor. Other than that the food, service, ambiance all good! Plenty of food as well, I was full afterwards

Everything was delicious, service was very attentive and we enjoyed every minute of our experience! The beer was great and the sake was smooth! The recommendation came from a friend that is a regular there and we might end up real regular there as well! Great vibe, great people, great chefs! See u soon!!

Very yummy sushi. Their garlic edamame and was my favorite thing. I got the special roll with cilantro and it just had a little too much crab but everything was good. Their house salad and miso was pretty good as well. The only negative I have to say was the nigiri was a little fishy. I got the salmon and tuna nigiri. They did have a page of sushi etiquette which I thought was super cute!!! The staff was attentive but it was a little too loud for me but I also do get overstimulated easily so I'm not the best judge of that. I would definitely go back again.

This was a pretty cool sushi spot to go to!Very popular, as there's a waitlist and was very filled!Sushi was fresh and the food came out pretty quick. Filled my sushi craving!Definitely a place to go back to! This restaurant is also in a plaza with a ton of parking!

Didn't know such a yummy sushi spot was located in my neighborhood. A bit of a whole in the wall, but really yummy rolls. A crunch roll is a classic but they did exceptionally well and it tasted amazing! Restaurant had a bar seating so perfect place to come on a solo date. Music isn't too loud. Servers were attentive and friendly. I'll definitely come back again!

Service is amazing! The freshest fish in town. The vibes are good and everyone is so sweet. THIS AND YAP, that's all I need! Lol
