Vacation Bar

I've been coming here for years.I was here on a Friday night. The drinks were AMAZING. It's very moody, Vacation Bar has different seating areas. It makes it a great place for a date or a hangout place with friends. Host and bartenders were friendly. I will definitely be back and looking forward on trying their food on the next visit.

Went on a Friday night and the place was fairly empty, which is a little surprising. The menu is not huge, but had some fun cocktails and some bar food. We really liked the No Name and Super Proof. Also tried the pizza and it was actually very tasty and the dough was thin but airy! Good place for a chill night out in DTSA!

Spacious and relaxed vibe -- very quiet when we went. The cocktails were tasty, well prepared, attractive in presentation, but we didn't consider them "strong" drinks. The bar was short on some of the ingredients to make some of their menu items and requested cocktails. Despite other reviewers' comments on service, we didn't experience that same friendliness, which usually makes us want to stay longer. The menu items looked appetizing; unfortunately, we didn't have an opportunity to taste anything -- just there for cocktails this visit.

Super fun spot!A small group of us stopped in before walking around downtown and going to dinner. It was pretty empty at this point, but still a fun vibe. I enjoyed the No Mames and others at our table enjoyed the Gucci Flip Flops and the Cocaine Cowboy. I could definitely see this spot hopping later in the night. Next time we are down here, we might check it out again.

Ambiance: this is a very nice place to have a relaxing drink on a weeknight or the weekend. The decor in the restaurant puts you in a relaxing bohemian vacation destination with colorful mood lighting and great music. Service: My fiancé and I sat at the bar and it was a great experience. The bartenders are observant, knowledgeable, and charismatic. They made sure that we liked our drinks and were attentive throughout the night. We didn't get food this time but we definitely want to try their pizza slice on our next visit.

Cutest bar in this uprising neighborhood! Love the vibe and design and simplicity of the menu. Parking situation: limited street parking.. we were there on a Saturday and it was not that bad. Service: they were nice but it took a long time to get our 1st drink. I think if you go order at the bar is better experience. The have limited food menu which we didn't try but it looked good. Overall this place is pretty upscale and we will come back!

This place gives Miami, Cuba, 1970-80s vibes. I love it!We stumbled upon it while walking Santa Ana and the music was pretty chill. So we went in to check it out. The hostess was very friendly and welcoming. The place is small, but has plenty of sitting space. The lights are deemed and it gives such a relaxing vibe. The decor is great and very photogenic. The drinks menu is clever!Overall, I recommend this spot for a date, a night with friends or for after work drinks.

This place was literally my favorite spot in all of Orange County. It's literally a shell of what it used to be. The vibe is trash, all the iconic drinks are no longer in the menu, the karage chicken which was a staple is GONE, fries gone and all the bomb pizza selections..... GONE. Only food served here are hot dogs. So sad to see what this place as become. Literally been here hundreds of times so I'm not a one two timer. This was my go to spot. What a shame.

What a cool spot. It was still pretty early so it wasn't too busy. Loved the vacation vibe and music. The Gucci Flip Flops is a must get. The foam and bit of spice makes this drink worth the price.

We didn't try the food, but had drinks instead! The bar has a small menu with some very strong and delicious drinks. Definitely makes you feel like you're on a tropical getaway!! You can also order any other bar drinks. Service was quick! Our waitress was very nice and patient. The ambiance is cute. We sat on some old fashion velvet green couches.. felt very classy! We also saw some people using the interior of the bar as a photo opportunity. We will definitely come again once it's a little more crowded and popping off. We came during the day and there were about 4 people there... bathroom is cute!
