The best of both worlds in La Habra. If you have friends who are craving ramen on a cold winter night or the friend who always loves sushi, this place could easily please everyone. Ultramen is located in a questionable strip mall dark street and by a liquor store. The interior is rather small with a few tables and a bar that probably never gets used. A waiter sat me our group down and our waitress frequently checked on our table. Food: While there was an expansive ramen and sushi selection, the quality of both dishes seemed rather average. For example, most of the sushi fillings were imitation krab and spicy tuna. For ramen, there was no options for ramen noodle thickness or doneness level. For the pricing of the food and selection, I could see why those who value affordability and diverse items, this would be a popular spot. If you have a hungry group and just want to socialize over a pitcher of Kirin, Ultramen would be a great place to visit after work.

I HATE to leave this kind of review because this used to be one of our favorite spots. My girlfriend and I have been coming here for a while and really enjoyed the food--until this became the final straw.We always ask for lemon when we order, and in the beginning, they provided them without an issue. Then, suddenly, they started saying they were "sold out." One time, my girlfriend even caught them in a lie when they claimed there were no lemons, but we saw them using lemon slices on a sushi dish. Frustrating, but we let it go.To avoid the hassle, we started bringing our own lemons and just politely asked them to cut them for us. They usually obliged, but during our last visit, they refused, claiming the kitchen was "too busy." Too busy to cut a lemon in half? Really? What made it worse was that instead of helping us, they took 3-5 minutes to bring me a spoon. What exactly am I supposed to do with a spoon?That was it for us. We walked out and won't be coming back. Losing loyal customers over something as small as a lemon is ridiculous. Keep your lemons and frozen egg rolls--we're done.

My husband and I decided to come here for dinner recently. The service was very good, and they had everything sent out quickly. Our order consisted of the Tonkotsu Ramen, Seafood TOFU Ramen, Egg rolls, Salmon Sushi Dog, Matcha Mont Blanc, and the Matcha Nigori Drink. Everything was delicious, and we'd definitely order all of these items again. Their most unique, tasty, and notable items are their Sushi Dog appetizers and Matcha Mont Blanc dessert. The restaurant itself was clean and cozy with plenty of spots to sit. We enjoyed the dining ambiance as well during our time there. We're looking forward to coming back again soon!

Food is solid and reasonably priced. The tonkatsu ramen was $14 and filling! We also got the unagi crispy which was okay.We arrived during Saturday lunch and it was now crowded. Service was fast and friendly. Parking could be tricky since it's located in a small plaza. Could potentially accommodate a large party (8+).

Ultramen restaurant is just amazing in every way you can think of. They have a fantastic selection of tasty dishes that are a feast for both your eyes and your stomach. And let's not forget about the ice-cold beer! It's definitely refreshing. Ultramen also creates a wonderful family vibe, making it a great spot for kids to have fun too. What do you do when one person is wanting ramen and the other person wants sushi? You find a place on yelp that offers both and to our surprise this was the perfect spot with well deserved reviews. We were seated quickly and ordered a pitcher of Kirin. We were given nice cold glasses, the frost still on them which was a perfect touch. Sushi rolls were delicious and came out quick. Also when we checked-in, we got a free egg roll! The place itself is small, feels cozy but not bunched up. Overall, had a great time checking out a new sushi spot and would return to try other items on their menu such as their udon.

I have passed by this spot many times but never had a chance to dine in and boy I'm glad we stopped by!The interior of the place isn't very big, however it is cosy and modern. Our server was very attentive and could remember all the things we ordered without having to write it down. I also love the fact that she came to check on us before our waters run out. My party and I ordered the infamous bulgogi fries, miso ramen, and rolls of sushi. We were all pretty impressed with the quality of the delicious food!

Friendly service. Free eggroll with check in. Just mention to the waiter. Good udon, good chicken teriyaki, crunchy calamari appetizer and fresh fish on the rainbow sushi roll. All the food was very flavorful, perfect temperature. Surprisingly delectable. The place is spacious and clean but the parking is limited in front. I think there might be more parking in the back though. Great place for a meal!
