Located in the spacious lobby of the Hyatt Regency Orange County, this was the perfect place to have a family birthday breakfast brunch. It was hubby's birthday and there were 7 of us including our grandson. We decided on the breakfast buffet and there was fresh fruits, yogurt, cereals, orange and cranberry apple juice, coffee, scrambled eggs, pork and chicken sausage links, bacon, bagels, toast, omelettes to order and the server even gave hubby and grandson each a Mickey Mouse pancake and that was the perfect meal. Server was so attentive and friendly and made it a memorable birthday for hubby!

Very friendly staff and prompt service.. my coffee was never empty as the staff were so attentive! We came for breakfast and the buffet is fairly priced and includes many different options that tastes better than your average continental breakfast- try the blueberry muffin! In terms of the ambience .. the restaurant is right near the lobby and ideal for guests who are on their way to check out or in.

We ate here each morning as park of our hotel stay included breakfast. The buffet is exactly what you'd expect, food that sits out for awhile. I will say that there is a large selection to include an omelette station which is nice. They also offer an a la carte menu which was good as well. Pricing is a bit high but all hotel restaurants usually are. Staff was friendly and attentive.

One of the best things to do when you're on vacation is get out of bed and stumble down to the breakfast area of your hotel. If you're staying at the Hyatt Regency Orange County - this is your lucky day!SUMMARY: TusCA is one of the best breakfast spots in any hotel I've stayed at. However be ready to spend $$ - everything here is Disneyland Tourist Hotel prices There are two options, buffet and a la carte.FULL AMERICAN BUFFET: I didn't go for the buffet this time around but I've had this a couple times and you can definitely make it worth the value if you are a heavy morning muncher. A LA CARTE: I ordered the SoCal Benedict. This dish was plated to perfection, and tastes just as good as it looks! The Hollandaise sauce was rich and had just a tad bit of kick with chili flakes. The egg was so wonderful (as eggs always are) and the yolk was complimented by the ham and the sourdough toast. The sourdough toast was toasted perfectly, a very underrated trait of a Benedict dish. It held its structure while also being easy to cut and pleasant to bite thru. The roasted potatoes were wonderful and the salad scratched the itch for having greens on the plate SERVICE/ATMOSPHERE: TusCA EXCELS with service. I never had to ask for water of coffee refills. I was asked if I wanted ketchup or hot sauce when my food came out. Got seated quickly to a table and the excess utensils were cleared out immediately. The decorations and atrium make this a lively place to start your morning! I should mention the prices are a little on the pricier side, but that's expected because of Disney Tourism (which could be a reason why you are staying here in the first place) so be ready for that. A breakfast sandwich the Starbucks is pushing 8$ so with that being said, living for freshly prepared food is reasonable

Very busy in the AM for breakfast. The buffet was good, just your standard buffet. A little pricy. The food was warm and good. The service was very slow, however. It took forever to get drinks and check.

I did the breakfast buffet here before my flight home as I was staying at the Hyatt Regency Orange County.I was quickly seated when I arrived. It is located in the lobby of the hotel, and it is a large space with plenty of seats. The breakfast buffet was solid. It had everything you'd expect in a breakfast buffet including an omelette station. The buffet was kept clean. The servers around me were attentive, refilling my coffee and juice frequently. Everyone I interacted with was pleasant. Overall, I would eat here again.

We want to give TusCa a huge complement for taking of us so well when my son threw up from eating too fast, cleaned the table and floor right away and they gave us a Mickey Waffle. Thank you Michael, our server on Friday in Tusca, and took care of us so well. We are very happy and started our day with a great service.

I would really say 3.5/5 -- rounding to 4/5 simply because:-Food comes out fast and is tasty enough to come back to.NOTE*: I only ate here because of the free breakfast perk that comes with Hyatt status. But if you keep your expectations at bay that this is a hotel/resort breakfast place, you won't be disappointed.-For Nutella Lovers- get the French Toast! They don't skimp out on the spread-SoCal Benedict: Chipotle Hollandaise is the star of the show. Everything else is fairly standard.-Cali Omelet is nothing to rave about. I'd argue the scrambled eggs are tastier with a nice fluff to it.I would pass on the coffee/orange juice, not worth the purchase.Tl;dr: -If you're staying at the Hyatt and want convenience, eat here! The food is good enough to satisfy your empty stomach, and the prices are what you'd expect for a hotel breakfast.-If you want superb quality breakfast with outstanding service, steer away.

Unfortunately service was horrible . Don't waste your time here . The staff don't greet you, they don't stop by your table to take a la carte orders . We walked out of the restaurant after waiting 15 minutes. Disappointed .
