Holy BUSS. I love Tsujita. The service was amazing. Shoutout Jenna, she is the GOAT. Super knowledgeable on the menu and she explained the dipping ramen perfectly well and answered a few other questions I had about the menu. She probably thought I was mad annoying but her amazing customer service didn't show it.Really really good ramen spot. I got the Tsukemen ramen and the noodles were so chewy and the texture was on point. The broth had a nice fishy umami taste but the fishy taste wasn't overbearing and was perfect. The karaage chicken was delicious and fried to a perfect crunch and something about the marinade was just pure perfection. Spicy tonkotsu was very spicy indeed but the broth was rich in flavor and delicious. Super flavorful food all around.Interior of the restaurant is nothing flashy, just a nice lil chill spot. It was clean, no complaints there.

I really want to give this place a high rating because their original location made very authentic tsukemen, but not only their soup base in this location is nothing but salty, and their business model and pricing are a clear reflection of greed. As someone who grew up in Japan and loves ramen, I was shocked the first time I tried their regular Tsukemen--priced at $16.50, it hardly had any ingredients. It only had a few slices of nori, the tsukemen broth, a few pieces of bamboo shoots, and very, very small chunks of chashu. In other words, if you expect a decent lunch from just the regular tsukemen, it's not happening. You'll need to pay extra to upgrade--add a $1+ egg, $6+ for more meat. If you want both egg and meat, you need to upgrade to the Deluxe, which will bring the price to $24.50.To be honest, in my 30+ years of eating ramen, I've never seen such a drastic reduction in the basic version of a dish. The "Tsukemen" should not even be on their menu because it is way too meager.Aside from the issues mentioned, the atmosphere inside the restaurant is decent--just the typical vibe of a standard Japanese ramen shop: small and clean. The staff's attitude is also impeccable.

always a good experience and much diverse menu than the one in santa monica! i love their matcha pudding and their juicy karage, will be back! they currently have a mala ramen (collab with killer noodle). it's pretty good but I think it has a very strong peanut flavor and could be spicier

Recently, I've made the trip to try the Pasadena location of Tsujita Artisan Noodle. I've always loved their location in LA so I had standards and expectations already set when coming to the restaurant. My boyfriend and I ended up ordering one tsukemen and one spicy tonkotsu ramen as well as chicken karaage as an appetizer. The chicken karaage had an amazing crunch while still being pretty light. The sauce that comes with is a definite must and makes the dish THAT much better. The noodle dishes here are definitely spot on and have amazing flavor without being too salty. The texture of both the thin and thick noodles are very chewy and not overcooked.Overall this place passed my expectations with flying colors and I will definitely be coming back, especially since the wait times are much shorter than their other locations.

I loved: Kaarage I really liked: Tontaksu Ramen Chashu BowlTsujita LA Artisan Noodle in San Gabriel serves up some excellent Japanese comfort food. The standout dish is definitely the Kaarage - it's incredibly flavorful with just the right amount of garlic. The Tontaksu Ramen is also a winner, boasting a clean and tasty broth. The Chashu Bowl is another solid choice, featuring nicely charred pork. The ambiance is pleasant, though the shop is a bit small, and the limited seating (largest table barely fits five) could be challenging for larger groups. It's also worth noting that the restaurant has underground parking, requiring a short walk to reach the entrance. Service was efficient and prompt. Overall, a great spot for satisfying your noodle and Japanese fried chicken cravings, just be mindful of the space constraints if you're going with a larger group.

My nephew craved ramen lately so we decided to find a few places to try. We decided to come here after I got off work. Guess what? Best ramen decision ever!! When we arrived we were seated pretty quickly. My nephew ordered the Ajitama Ramen. I tried some of the broth and wanted more lol it was so rich in flavor. It wasn't too salty. It was a perfect bowl of ramen. The noodles were fresh and tasty. I literally wanted to just take his bowl lolI ordered the Spicy Tsukemen (dipping) Ramen. It was okay, imo. The noodles were thicker and not as soft. I actually was a bit tired from chewing it lol the broth was cooked with fish sauce so it was salty. I also find it annoying to keep dipping the noodles into the sauce broth lol this also made the noodle and broth cold quicker. I am not a fan. I rather order 2 bowls of the Ajitama ramen lolMaybe the Ajitama ramen was just too good lol =] i m still thinking of it.Recently, I tried this other ramen place. It made me realized that Tsujita here in SG is such a gem! Why go the distance...one of the best ramen places is just nearby =]

Sophisticated Ramen. Their original location on Sawtelle has 5K Yelp reviews mostly positive. Los Angeles foodies love this place! Tsujita specialty is the "Dipping Ramen", where the soup and noodles comes separately and you dip the cold thick yellow noodles into the piping hot ramen broth. Regular Pork Tonkotsu ramen are also an option on the menu, as well as, vegan ramen. The broth for the dipping ramen is VERY seafood forward, but not fishy. And their Tonkotsu broth is very RICH tasting - the soup consistency reminds me of milk creamer. Not sure if ld order the Tonkotsu ramen here again. Overall the dipping ramen (tsukemen) was done nicely just not my preference for ramen. Not their fault. My Yelp buddy did recommend their sister restaurants: Killer Noodle Tsujita and Annex Tsujita for a different style of ramen and I look forward to going there. Service here is outstanding. Very polite and accommodating. Parking can be found underground and it's free!

Came here per invitations from a coworker & his wife. Parking was more ample with the underbelly parking structure. Although the space was empty the Thursday night we arrived at 6pm, by 6:45, there was a line of diners waiting on the 7-8 tables inside. I ordered their Killer Noodle ramen which, once all the contents inside were mixed together, was a splendid blend of hearty and creamy flavors without feeling too gelatinous and fatty. As a self-identified amateur spice connoisseur, I ordered the standard spice level of 3 for the Killer Noodle entree, which didn't really provide me all that much of a kick (thankfully). So much so that the next time I intend to go up in spice to ~5. My girlfriend vegan ramen tasted like a delightful Japanese style minestrone.

Came on a Sunday night and although the line looked long, it moved rather quickly. We each got the spicy deluxe tsukemen and shared a chicken karaage. The chicken was crisp and not dry and the dipping noodles were very flavorful. I loved the broth and the jammy egg. The portions were rather large and they were very generous with the meat. My friends found the meat a little too rich but I think if you're looking for a heavy meal, the deluxe is very worth it.

Tsujita has been my go-to spot for solid ramen. In my recent visit, I went around 1:00 pm and needed to put my name on the waitlist as there was a lot of groups inside. If you need to waitlist, make sure to be nearby to listen to your name. They will only call your name 2-3 times before crossing you off the list. For parking, it wasn't too bad. There was parking available in the underground level. For my order, I got the spicy deluxe tsukemen. The chashu had a nice char to it. The soft boil egg was perfectly cooked. The dipping broth was salty as expected, but flavorful with a bit of spiciness. The service was also very quick. Within minutes of ordering, the ramen was ready! It
