Trung Nguyen E-Coffee

Been to trungs enough to say that they stay consistent with their drinks! The coffee is STRONG! I'm caffeine sensitive so I stick to the matcha. I do take a sip of the coffee when my boyfriend orders it just to taste it. Anyways, my favorite matcha right now is the blueberry matcha! It is on the sweeter side so I ask for 75% sweetness. This place is always busy whenever I stop by but it's definitely worth the wait.

TLDR: Good coffee, small space, gets real busy in the morning, staff should improve their method of tracking orders.I'm really not into Starbucks. I really enjoy local "hole in the wall" kind of places. Tried out this place since I was in the area and wanted to find some good local coffee. Came in around 9am. I ordered their Banh Mi Que and their "Milk" Espresso. Coffee did not disappoint. The Banh Mi Que was hot when I received it and it was really good. The problem I have is that from the time I ordered to the time I got my order was about 15 min. On top of that when I got the banh mi que my coffee wasn't ready yet. It seemed the baristas there lost my coffee in all of the orders they were receiving because the barista that handed my banh mi Que looked for the coffee in the other bags at the bar meant for take out orders. Barista had to make my coffee on the spot. I stayed in the cafe to eat and observed other orders. It looked like they were getting lots of online and from walk-ins. When some people picked up their order I saw one of the baristas grasp their head like there was some sort of problem and some people had to wait for their order to be completed. The staff looked like they were really swamped. I get it. I don't know if they were under-staffed or anything but if they feel overwhelmed maybe take a quick break and ask a coworker for help. Suggestion for the staff, create a better method of tracking orders like what they do in In-N-Out. If they can manage then you can too. Cafe has great coffee and great ambiance. Space seems a little small for the amount of people that came in while I was in the cafe but overall a nice place to get good coffee. I would come back again but only for coffee not food. Blueberry matcha is a MUST TRY here! To think a Vietnamese coffee chain could deliver a delectable duo, I am mind blown! Look at the dark, vibrant green matcha! I will say, the matcha did taste grainy which you could tell the baristas did not whisk well. The banana matcha does come with banana milk which I'm not a fan of. I like my banana matcha with real bananas and not artificial. Service is really kind, but it could be slow if you order matcha. I'd definitely want to try out their coffee here since it is from Vietnam. Even the design of the interior reminded me of popular cafes in Vietnam.

Trung Nguyen E-Coffee, two locations, Santa Ana and Long Beach. The Santa Ana location is in a place shared with four other businesses so 30+ parking space can sometimes cannot accommodate the crowd.The coffee shop is very modern -- with big open floor plan and Instagramable lattice wall. The establishment offers low key music to keep the atmosphere light. The merchandise offers coffee a couple blends and more interesting coffee types from instant to phin-method is a standout. Very nice. Trung Nguyen cafe is a delightful (treat) and experience for coffee lovers, especially for those who enjoy a vibrant and rich flavors. The Ube and Egg Coffee are a must.The menu is decent and not too overwhelming. The cashier's attitude is "meh", she's just working but doing a good job. Once you place an order, you're given a "pager," which keeps things organized and prevents a crowd from waiting for their orders or baristas from shouting out names.We ordered the:1- Ube Espresso (5/5) very rich and creamy flavor. The Ube doesn't taste powdery which often times other caffe tends to be. This place did it right!!2- Black Sesame Latte (3/5) lacks the nutty, sesame flavor and, 3 - Egg Coffee (4/5). The drink is great, but I had better. Trung Nguyen's E-Coffee is an ideal choice for anyone craving an authentic and flavorful Vietnamese coffee experience! I'll certainly will be coming back soon!!

A nice variety of drinks and some pastries. We really enjoyed their Hazelnut specialty coffee. Their banana coffee isn't bad, but it tasted a little bland. But maybe just the way they made it for the day, might have to give it another try. Their peach danish is yummy, it obviously got devoured right away before I had the chance to take a picture. The service is prompt and fast, and the ambiance of the place is great for socializing or even studying. Definitely would go back again. Check picture of reference.

Drinks : 10/10!! I think I just found my new matcha spot and it's close to home. My first time here I ordered a banana matcha latte with Ube cold foam. It was sooo good. You can taste the quality of matcha and it's exquisite! Came back the second time and ordered the strawberry yakult matcha latte, also a 10/10. For this one you can taste more of the strawberry and not much of the matcha. So if you don't want a strong matcha taste, but STILL want matcha... that's the one! I also ordered the banana matcha latte the regular way, it was a 8.5/10. I liked it better with the ube cold foam. Definitely will be back to try the other stuff as well.Service : fast, friendly, and efficient! Ambiance: lots of seating room. Great place to study. It is near CSULB.

Pretty good drinks and it's nice inside. There's ample parking. I appreciate that she told me that the coconut cream latte would be too dark at 25% so I got it at 50% my issue with this is that there was way too much ice in their drinks. I also got the matcha banana latte and that drink was fire. Way too much ice, lower the ice and you'll be good! I even asked for easy ice.The coconut cream latte was too strong and sweet at the same time even at 50%.

Banana coffee was recommended so I stopped while in the area. Cute little place. Not a ton of seating. They do offer bahn mi but I didn't try it. Would be worth checking out. Banana coffee was good. Strong banana flavor without being overly artificial.

Yummy Vietnamese coffee options! I haven't been to the other Trung Nguyen locations in the area, only been in Vietnam, but this "E coffee" franchise looks like it offers more unique drinks---banana coffee: creamy with a tasty foam on top!

They make viet iced coffee properly, simple as that. Sweet, bitter, correct ratio of both. No clue if this is the same branch as the one where I had mine but I'm just going to assume the brand has similar taste and quality in each branch.
