Toyo Sushi & Roll

This is my go to sushi place. I'm definitely a regular. Their sushi is so good and always so fresh. Their rolls are always consistent with fillings and toppings. The employees are always so friendly and welcoming. I recommend this place to all my friends!

Pretty good hidden in the wall spot in Anaheim. It's small, but the service is quick and friendly. The rolls are delicious. I love the salmon killer! I've never had pickled onions on top of a sushi roll before, but it's very good. My opinion Is they put priority on their to go orders, so the wait was longer than expected for being the only two people dining in the restaurant. Also, my check said $40 but when i paid it was 47? Plus tip. Overall good sushi, I'm sure I'll be back.

I ate here for the first time today after having passed it multiple times. I must say that for a local spot, it's pretty good. The interior is pretty clean and there's a fair amount of seating for a little spot.The service is impeccable. There was only one server at the time I went today and people were still coming in and out to dine in or pick up. Even with that, I don't think I waited longer than 10-15 minutes for my food, which was great. I ordered the two item bento with teriyaki salmon and crunch spicy tuna roll. It was the perfect amount of food as I was able to finish it all and it was pretty well priced, too. I will definitely come back again!

I always get delivery from here and am never disappointed. Great value and everything always tastes great. The ramen is delicious and the bento box is huge.

Love this place! They are still pretty consistent with the quality of their sushi and great service as well.

Great quality sushi! I have tried other sushi spots around town and some of them taste to fishy (Orange Roll and Sushi) The chef seems accommodating and will give you what you want. Just finished my 2 rolls and gyoza and it was bomb!

I've been here a bunch of times and it's always great. My favorites are the Creamy crunch and Salmon lover rolls, the monkey roll is also very good. I haven't had a bad roll here, however we did get edamame once and they didn't put any salt or anything on it, so I thought that was odd. Miso soup is basic, nothing special.I normally get cut rolls or hand rolls here, but I haven't tried their nigiri(sushi) or sashimi, so I have no opinion on that.The staff is all super nice and they're always prompt, very quick preparation, and they have never messed up my order!

I've only ever ordered delivery and this place hits all the right spots! The price is fair, the fish is always tender and fresh, the presentation is always lovely even after bouncing around in a car. I've never had a roll I didn't love. If you're a salmon girly, I highly recommend the salmon lover roll!! If takeout is this good and fresh I can only imagine what it's like to dine in!

Craving sushi so we stopped here for dinner! Quick service, friendly staff and clean place. Kind of hidden but a great little place.I had the nigiri lovers 10 piece and everything was delicious except the tuna. Usually tuna is my favorite but this was not as fresh as I'm used to for nigiri. Smelled fishy, a bit thick to the bite and a tad bitter/sour. Other than that everything else was delicious! Also had the yellowtail collar and it was good. On its own it was bland but dip it in the sauce and you're set!Overall solid pricing and good food.

Toyo used to be our favorite spot especially during Covid. But we noticed some changes to the rolls and rice flavor recently that made us a little more hesitant. There was fried potatoes? on top of most of the rolls we ordered which made it a bit off putting. They used to separate the sauces so we can control how much we wanted to put in, but now it's all on top which made it a bit more soggy and harder to eat when the food came home. We are still going to give them another few tries because we have been such loyal customers for 4 years.
