This is one of many locations, but if you're looking for a solid taco spot in Costa Mesa, this place is definitely worth stopping by. The tacos here are on the larger side, so while the price point of $4-$5 per taco is a bit higher than some other spots, you're definitely getting a good portion! The al pastor is my favorite because its flavorful and cooked just right. However, the carne asada was a bit dry on its own, but the variety of sauces they offer really helped balance it out! The store has a lot of seating but the parking lot can get filled up pretty quickly, since there's only one row of parking at the front. Otherwise, there's additional parking behind the building. It's a good place to grab a quick bite or dine in. I can see the line getting long and i've seen a line going out the door, but it goes by fast.Overall, if you're okay with paying a little more for bigger tacos and solid flavors, it's a great option, especially if you take advantage of their sauces and adjust the flavors to your liking.

This place is packed and busy for good reasons!! We came on. Thursday night and line was out the door. It went by fairly quickly but it was hard to get a table since there's limited seating. I got two tacos for myself and then carne asada fries and churros to split. Everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. I love that they have a salsa bar so it makes it easier when I make multiple trips. The most memorable thing was the churros. I was surprised at how they were soft and chewy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. It also came with a sauce to dip them in. Lastly, I was watching the cashier as I sat at the high top and although he had a line out the door, he was calm and focused on each persons order and manning the churros, chips, and drinks. Great service!

Came here for dinner on a Sunday night around 6:30 and it was super packed. They have seating but for the amount of people in there, it was still pretty crowded and people had to stand or wait for tables to clear up. The salsas, sauces and limes were self serve. My friends and I got a couple diff types of tacos. The Al pastor, carne asada, fried fish, shrimp, and their specials which were Al pastor tostada and carne asada tostada. The al pastor and shrimp were okay in my opinion. The carne asada was really good and the fried fish was pretty good too. The tostadas were excellent and crispy. Because it was so busy, they forgot our Al pastor tacos and we had to go up to the counter and let them know. The cashier and pick up area get really hectic. The cashier delivered our Al pastor directly to our table after though. Overall, this place is pretty good but if you can, go during an off hour so it's not as hectic and you'll get good seating.

This is a small taco spot w amazing meals! I came in on a Wednesday evening and ordered the al pastor burrito. It had a good amount of meat in there and cheese. I wish the al pastor had a bit more flavor, it just lacked that depth but it was still delicious. We waited for around 10 min to order and then 15 to receive our order but not bad for the long lines they had. I would visit again!

On our way to San Diego, we stopped at The Tacos Stand and were thoroughly impressed. It is in a mini plaza with a few parking spots in front of the restaurant. Now about the food, the Al Pastor Tacos were the highlight--perfectly charred and bursting with flavor. The Carne Asada and Baja Fish Tacos were also excellent, but the churros truly stole the show. They were fresh, crispy, and just sweet enough, reminding us of the incredible churros we had in Puebla, Mexico. With fast service and outstanding food, this spot is a solid 10/10. We can't wait to stop by again!

This place has been on my list for a while, finally made it and the food was delicious. They have a variety of tacos, burritos, asada fries, and made to order churros to name a few. The gentleman at the register was very patient and was helpful when ordering. The smell of the hand made tortillas and grilled meat is just so welcoming and overwhelmingly delicious. I order the nopal taco and it was so good, the cactus is not grilled but cooked and it's nice and tender, I also had the California burrito and the pieces of meat were so big and tasty. I'm glad that they had the salsa bar, as it gave me the opportunity to try all of their options, my favorite was the chipotle and the cilantro salsa which had a unique flavor, if you are looking for something new and flavorful I recommend the salsa Macha. They have a variety of drinks including a few Mexican beers. The only issue is the parking, the front spots are super busy as there are other nearby restaurants, so be patient.

They got every thing in our order wrong, and this is not the first time. Orange location is a lot better and more professional. Also, the flour tortilla was kinda dry and cold.
