We had just finished taking some family pictures and decided to have some dinner here. We chose it because you can have dinner in an old train passenger coach car. The ambiance is nice. They had live music and line dancing when we were there. Our server was nice, but the service was very slow. For the family we ordered a Patty melt, a Rueben sandwich, one Bavarian pretzel, a Pasta with meat sauce, an order of potato skins and an order of loaded fries with steak.50 minutes later we finally received our food. The Rueben sandwich was good, the corned beef on it was soft and juicy. The potato skins were also very tasty. The kids liked them also. Unfortunately, that was about all that was good. The patty on the patty melt and the steak on the loaded fries were so overcooked, they had no color or flavor to them. The Bavarian pretzel was hard. I could use it to knock on the table. I'm guessing their pretzels are probably frozen and ours was microwaved to thaw and heat it. The pasta had so little meat sauce that we had to ask for a side of sauce, also the sauce had an odd smell to it. My 9 year old didn't like it. For those wondering, we didn't send the food back due to the fear of it being messed with by an angry cook.To say our dinner was a disappointment is an understatement. We had high hopes based off the huge crowd. I suppose the people must be there for the dancing and drinks, not the food. Based off our experience here, I do not recommend the food here.

Paddy's is under new management, and it feels cleaner and more upscale. Our server was so nice and told us about the new owners and their plans going forward. I'm excited to see how it goes. I started with the loaded potato skins and they were terrific. Next up was the wedge - so good. Then, finally the lemon pepper wings, which were quite good. Overall good experience and we will be back to see how they continue to develop with the new ownership.

I was looking for a place to eat after getting a massage and I walked into this place, not knowing they didn't open for another half hour. However, the owners were so nice to offer service to me still :) My Burger and creme brulee were delicious!

There was no on at Satursday around 6pm! Super easy to get a spot. The food was amazing and really good portion. I ordered a well drinks taquilla and soda, unfortunately super watery. Other in my group ordered beer and wine seems enjoyed their drink. Highly recommend the blue cheese bacon burger! Unhealthy but tastes so amazing!! The seasonable vegetable is surprisingly yummy too!! We couldn't make the live music but left when the band setting it up. The performance I 8-11pm.

Staff:The staff was very nice. Our server was Lilly and she was great. She was friendly, attentive, and took took care of us. Quality/Quantity:We only ordered dessert as we had dinner earlier in the evening. The only reason we ate earlier is that we came to watch a friend perform with his band. Yes, they had live music. So, on to the food. We ordered crème brûlée, chocolate brownie with ice cream, and coffee. All were good. The crème brûlée was very tasty and was served with whipped cream and fruit. The brown was huge and packed with flavor and drizzled with caramel. Both were very good. Value:I felt it was reasonable. 2 desserts and a coffee was about $30 including tip. Overall:This place is really cool. Seating literally inside of an old train, live music, good food, and most impressive is a free arcade. Though the games are a bit older the best of one of all of Street Fighter 2. Love this game!

I read the reviews from other patrons of Paddy's Irish Station Pub to help me decide on the best bars to visit while spending a night out in Downtown San Juan Capistrano for my birthday. I decided to make it one of my stops. I must say Paddy's Irish Pub did not disappoint! I ordered the corned beef reuben with sweet potato fries while my friend got the fried chicken sandwich. They were good, but they both had a bit of a kick. The sauce in the corned beef reuben was spicy. I had to get water. The fried chicken sandwich was even more spicy. My friend who normally likes hot and spicy food felt there was a bit too much "heat" to this sandwich. It's interesting that nobody else has mentioned the food being spicy. Both sandwiches were still good. It's just if you happen to be sensitive to spicy food, this is something to consider. Also, they charge $1.55 credit card fee for paying with a credit card. I didn't quite have enough cash to leave the gratuity I felt our server deserved, so I paid by credit card to give them the full 20% tip. My cash was $1 short, so that's what I got charged to pay it by credit card. D'oh! I know that's not the servers' fault, though. Now to end things on a more positive note: The servers were very nice. The Guinness is creamy and tastes just like Guinness I've had in Ireland. The band playing was The Stillwater Band. They were great! There is a pool table and the regulars do the Texas Two-Step and line dancing on the dance floor. There is a very fun country vibe here. All in all, we enjoyed ourselves and will return. We will have to be more careful about the food we order and maybe ask for something less spicy lol. Also will be bringing more cash with us the next time around!

Gross. This place sucks. The bartender was awful - nasty attitude, had to repeat my very simple order 3x, delivered incorrect drinks spilling everywhere, offered no napkins. Heard it's getting new ownership - new staff would be a win too. So much potential, but such a swing and a miss. I love dive bars, but garbage attitudes from bartenders doesn't have to come with the territory.

The owners had our car towed after the app they used failed to register our car. $510 to have our car released. We contacted to owner Randy Wiener and at first he was willing to help. The next day he acted like he didn't know what I was talking about then proceeded to not help at all. Last owners of Patty Station sucked, looks like the trend will continue.

Great atmosphere, the band was great, live music on a Sunday night was a treat, the wedge salad was too big but great and I added Salmon which was a good addition. The drinks were all good, and not too strong or watered down. The railcar is super cute. The only downside was that it was hot, everyone was complaining, and the round tables are too big making it hard to get to the bar or the dance floor.
