What a lovely place to grab and bite. Sit down or take it to go, the food is great, reasonably priced and worth every bite! Especially for weekends they have a kids eat free, so after a fun day at the mall stop by with the family! I truly appreciate the staff and their patience since it was my first time here and there are so many options. You can do a wrap, bowl or plate and there are many wonderful combinations that I wish I could have tried all in one go. But I decided on a grilled chicken bowl with fries and rice, and all that comes with. I did get to try all the sauces and let me say YUM. There are plenty seating options and self service for utensils, fountain drinks and sauce. The time i visited it was not super busy but as I ate many families and others came to dine in or grab pick up. It's a lively atmosphere and the playlist was on point that day. ++ After eating I felt full of energy in the best way, the portions and flavors just have you feeling great and excited for the next visit at this establishment! Overall 10/10.

What I don't like is that you can't mix and match proteins and sidesI want this with that and you can't do that So annoying. The food is good and a bit pricey but it's like if I'm paying that much for chicken and rice why can I have this kinda chicken with that kinda sides. I also asked to buy a single wrap by it self nothing in itPretty much a tortilla right??? They said no but we will sell you a thick ass pita bread. Like wtf Weirdos

I'm honestly surprised this place has 4.5 stars. The service was great, cashier was super helpful, and the restaurant was clean, so no complaints there. But the food? Unfortunately, it was a big letdown.I ordered the grilled chicken wrap, and it was straight out bland, no seasoning, no flavor, just disappointingly plain. The chicken portions on this huge wrap were honestly a joke, very minimal protein in it. Even the rice tasted off, almost like it was boiled with faucet water. I really wanted to enjoy my meal, but that wasn't the case this time. I really hope they step it up in the kitchen.

First time having lunch here. Decided to try this place, instead one the competition in the same plaza. I ordered the wrap, with chicken (sliced), added fries and hummus (an extra $$2), for add ons. It's really easy to order: wrap, bowl, or plate. I chose the wrap, thinking it was going to be naan or pita bread. BUT the wrap is a big tortilla. It is quite big, more like a big burrito. The stuff inside was very flavorful and clean, but the tortilla "wrap" ruined it for me, only because it's Mediterranean type food. If I do come again, but next time order the bowl instead. The cashier was really helpful and friendly.

Been meaning to try this place for a while and the food is good, but the portion size is a bit small for the price of it.

For it's one, two, three strikes you're out at The Kebab Shop! The Kebab Shop strives to deliver 5 star experiences to all of their customers as evidenced by The Love Guarantee, where they guarantee that you'll love your experience. Anything less than 5 stars would be a disappointment to them.Well, if they serve all the customers the same way they served me, they'd be more than just a disappointment. Perhaps travesty would be a better word, especially with a trifecta of disappointments I've experienced this year with The Kebab Shop. The three closest locations to me are Cypress, Seal Beach, and this one in Cerritos at Cerritos Promenade next to Target. After visiting all three, not one of them has earned even 4 stars out of 5 from me. I don't know what kind of rating scale The Kebab Shop uses, but I'm convinced that their 5 stars is equal to my 3 stars, which if you understand the concept of proportions, would mean they'd need between 8 and 9 of their stars to earn 5 stars from yours truly. On my last visit, I ordered the 2 entree 2 sides deal that I mentioned in my review of the Seal Beach location. If you read that review, you'll know that the 1 wrap, 1 bowl, and 2 sides combo is $31 in Seal Beach, but $33 in Cerritos. Since I had already tried this combo in Seal Beach, I decided to give the Cerritos location a try to see how it would compare.Knowing that the 2 entree 2 sides deal doesn't work in store, I placed my order online for pickup later in the day. I decided not to do any special upgrades like a premium protein or adding fries because I felt I had already paid an upcharge for choosing a location closer to me lol. Plus, I hadn't had falalel in a wrap before and really wanted to try it this time. For my bowl, I went with the carved chicken plus all the complimentary vegetables. For the sides, I chose the two salads: Greek Salad and Mediterranean Chickpea Salad.I arrived at an empty restaurant early Sunday evening five minutes before my scheduled pickup time, and I headed over to the pickup counter to retrieve my order. An employee had his hand on a takeout bag, and I told him my name for pickup. That takeout bag was indeed mine, so he simply gave it to me. Didn't seem to appreciate my business, however, so definitely room for improvement there. What I didn't know until I checked my email was that it was ready ten minutes ahead of schedule. Better than two hours at least lol (see my Seal Beach review for that story).I took my bag to the rear counter to get some of their three sauces, but after I opened the bag, I immediately noticed a bunch of juices inside! It happened at the Seal Beach location too, but this was way worse. I grabbed a dozen napkins and put them in my bag to soak up all the juices that had spilled out. I could have brought it up to them, but didn't think much of it after witnessing that one employee's look of indifference on his face. When I came home, some of the napkins were drenched, and I tried to find the culprit. There were three suspects: the lid on the Mediterranean Chickpea Salad, the lid on my bowl, or the soggy wrapper on the wrap. The wrap itself wasn't soggy except at the bottom where they added some OG Yogurt sauce, but I wish they added some at the top too. Good thing I got those sauces before going home. However, the lid on the bowl really annoyed me because it was loose! Like it easily came off, and since I was planning to save it for lunch the next day, I had to use a rubber band and some tape to further secure the lid. I was also annoyed, though not surprised, at the excessive grease on the bottom of the bowl, even before eating. Also happened in Seal Beach too, but this was worse. The lid on the Mediterranean Chickpea Salad was also a little loose, but definitely not as bad as the bowl!I tempered my expectations for the falafel wrap, and I'll admit it was quite good for a vegan wrap! I can definitely recommend if you are vegan or vegetarian! A couple pieces fell out upon unwrapping the wrap, but since the top end isn't closed, I wasn't surprised. However, it would have been quite dry to eat without the sauces, so make sure you get some to go with your wrap! The bowl held up well the next day, and I enjoyed it after mixing all three of the sauces. However, remember the excessive grease I mentioned three paragraphs ago? Imagine how much grease there was after I finished the bowl! Both salads were run-of-the-mill for what they are; nothing more to say about that.I've also been to this location a couple times a couple years ago to take advantage of their $5 wraps. As great of a discount it was, their wraps were also a 3 out of 5 for me.TL;DR: The Kebab Shop and I agree that they are consistent. We just don't agree on how many stars lol. They claim they are known for their quality. I agree, but for a completely different reason lol. Luckily, the food is tasty enough that I'll return; I just wish they'd do a better job of preparing my orders.

Just as good as all the other locations I've been too. Their cilantro sauce is outstanding. Started out with the kale & quinoa salad and fries. The salad was on point. The fries were decent but could use some salt.Ordered the kofta with rice and spicy hummus. This with the cilantro sauce is a homerun hitter (I prefer it with the pita, but rice is solid too).

BF has been coming here for quite a while, so I finally got a chance to try this past weekend. You order first, then grab your sauce at the sauce station, and find a seat. I ordered the wrap with carved rotisserie chicken ($13.20) and the crave fries ($5.50 regular price, but check in on Yelp for 50% off!). Sooo good!!BF got his go to order, which is the carved lamb beef wrap ($13.20 plus extra $1.90). I don't eat lamb so I didn't try it, but he likes it since it's a good mix of both lamb and beef.We also tried the grilled steak wrap ($13.20 plus extra $2.80), but found that we liked the chicken more. The employee taking our order was very helpful with my questions and very courteous. Plenty of parking in the plaza and plenty of seating inside.Make sure to sign up for their rewards program! We have enough for two $10 off our next purchase rewards with the amount of times BF has been here! Haha!

Stop at target to do some shopping. It was getting late so my wife and I decided we would stop in and try this restaurant. It is right next-door to target in Cerritos. The restaurant had a nice bright dining area. The cashier and serving counter were clean. I went to wash my hands and the restrooms were clean. And there appears to be plenty of tables for dining. My wife ordered chicken kebab with saffron rice and Romaine lettuce bowl. The chicken was tender and juicy. I ordered the beef kebab bowl with grilled veggies and saffron rice. The beef was tender vegetables were grilled nicely and believe it or not the Saffron Rice is very tasty. It is a bit pricey, but if you come on a Saturday and Sunday with your kids who are younger than 10 years old and you order a bowl your child will get a free meal. All in all, I would recommend this place, as you can custom order your meal. And lastly, one of the staff members checked on each of the guests that were dining tonight and asked him how things were and if they needed anything else, a nice touch.
