The Huddle

Wanted to visit a cool dive bar and saw this place on Yelp. The music seemed great upon entering and it had a great vibe. Sadly, this place lost out on our patronage. The big hair blonde bartender served 4 men ahead of us women and was rude. She certainly needed to keep her boys happy because it will be a rough time through her 60's and there will be a loyal group of drinkers that will miss her at some point. The Huddle is a cash cow with a decent selection of alcohol. I would have tipped the guy bartenders extra after the rude woman, but was too disgusted by her to buy my friends drinks there. We headed to another bar and spent triple. Thank you for keeping it classy huddle. You may have men with beards, but the bearded bartender is on another level.

The Huddle is a neighborhood bar in Costa Mesa and near John Wayne Airport. It's your typical dive bar with pool tables ($1), darts, and TVs scattered around the inside. They have food but you can also bring food inside and there are restaurants within walking distance.Their wells are $7, their Moscow mules are $10 which are something we usually default to drinking, and they have these rooster shots that include three individual shots of tequila, lime juice, and tomato juice. It's fun when you do it with a group of people!

The ambience of this location is very clean and friendly when you consider the usual vibe of a dive bar. Great hole in the wall bar with a great draft selection and TVs playing all the games. Plenty of pool tables available along with a pinball machine and a few darts. Restroom is SO clean and well maintained! Looking forward to coming back to hang out and shoot pool with some beer

alissa makes the best margarita if you want to go out in the evening it's open until 2 o'clock. Good drinks, good music and you can play a snooker game. I really recommend this place.

My morning is so much better because of Ashley! I love how she has all the updates/tequilas and lights down to the perfect amount of low! If you need a good way to start your day! Come see her! Your drink will never be empty because her timing is on point!

Watch out for the old(er) lady bartender. Gives whatever service and changes the tip amounts on receipts. Happened to me with her twice and others. Called twice to have them change the amount to the correct one, never got the money back and had to go through my bank. Crazy management is okay with literal fraud, no matter the amount.

This is a poppin' and fun dive bar in Costa Mesa. I came by for a friend's birthday celebration and it was a good time. On your left, they have an array of activities with 8 pool tables, darts, and games. On your right, is the bar of course.Fair warning that you're probably going to get poked by a stick when you're around the pool tables, but everyone is nice and friendly to each other. It also got a bit hot and stuffy, but this place gets pretty crowded.

Fun spot for drinks and games but tons of cops around looking for drunk drivers so drink responsibly!

Great vibe and fun place to play pool and imbibe. Great crowd with younger clientele. Enjoyed meeting some of the older locals at the bar. Cool retro pinball machines. Multiple pool tables for pool hall feel.
