The Firepit Mexican Grill

Wow! Found this food truck by accident and, after trying the food, realized I discovered a local gem! I ordered too much food as usual because of my foodie problem lol. I'm definitely not a food snob, but I'm a guy who grew up in a home where delicious food was always on the table as another expression of love. That extra care and subtle touches in recipes are not wasted on me. I always like to try items that are simple staples where the extra care really shows at new places I eat. I decide then and there, after my meal, if I ever want to go back. This place did not disappoint! I'm a sucker for fresh made tortillas, but this place has crispy "gorditas" and corn quesadillas that are made fresh(think thick and tortilla like pocket with a crispy texture outside and contrasting chew on the inside, sooo good!). It's true, these salsas have love in the recipe, and it seems everything else here does too. Highly recommended! I promise to post some pictures next time, stop by and try it, this place deserves the love!

Worth the try really good tacos at a really reasonable price the taco as are flavorful and they have good salsas I really enjoyed my carne asada taco plate came here with my husband in a late night taco run they were somewhat busy but the line moved fast. I think this is going to be my to go food truck for a while.

Good ass tacos!!! I get the tripa or cabeza yummmy!!! My bf gets the chicken and asada and he's picky so you best believe they are good! We come from Anaheim for these tacos from this truck, even though there's plenty at our city. So yes definitely recommend

Favorite taco truck on this side of Santa Ana, great service and friendly people. Tacos are only $1 and they're not skimping on the meat. Agua de horchata home made is delicious. You definitely have to give them a try, you won't regret it. Right next to the McDonald's on spurgeon.

Tacos where ok, tortilla falling apart, service was very bad. Lady taking orders had an attitude. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TRUCK AT ALL.

This is great food I love the sopes and tacos! Everyone is always super friendly! They also always pack the meat on them tacos.

Dang! This place is FIRE. My friend and I stumbled upon this place and holy crap...best discovery ever! Super affordable and super rrrrrrico. My friend and I were eating and could not stop oooing and ahhhing and commenting how bomb the salsas were. Especially that habanero cream salsa! Fire, fire, fire!!!

Came here last night. They were on Main and First in Firestone parking lot. I got 5 tacos. 3 de pastor and 2 tacos de cabeza. There tacos are on point. Meats are always fresh. Definitely will come back.

Hands down the BEST salsas I've ever had. We stumbled upon this truck while looking for another and so glad we tried it. I had asada tacos and tried all 4 salsa, the habanero was garlicky and the chipotle was nice and smokey. I seriously would pay for her recipes. Come see this sweet lady and get your $1 tacos ($1.5 for fish/ $1.25 asada)

This is currently my favorite lonchera in Santa Ana. I live love LOVE their asada & chorizo tacos. Everything I've eaten is very delicious. They have a salsa bar with multiple choices for the salsa. My favorite thing about this lonchera is that they are open late & i mean LATE! The family is very nice & always polite. This is a D.F style food truck & i highly recommend it. Some people might be scared to come around this part of town late @ night but I've been coming here for a long time always late night around midnight thru 2am and have always been safe. Never a problem. Trust me, you will like it!
