The Coffee Tale

My husband and I have been coming here for years, even after we've moved away. My husband swears by their mocha and if you're in the mood for baklava, it's to die for at The Coffee Tale. 100% recommend this place.

I live 45 minutes away from this place & I'd drive 1000 miles to get coffee here it's NEXT LEVEL spectacular! I got a Vanilla Latte (basic b- I know) but 10/10I also got the Pistachio White Chocolate latte and sweet baby Jesus, I about died and went to heaven! 10/10 incredible! The line was super long and I was shocked at how fast and efficient the staff was. The shop itself is adorable! I am so glad our friends invited us here because I don't think I would've come across it otherwise. I also got a slice of baklava and it was divine! Don't think about going here- JUST GO!

I'm so baffled by the stellar reviews on the coffee. It was far from good. Got one of the flavored lattes with cinnamon and spice. It tasted like stale instant latte from a budget hotel machine. Borek was okay but couldn't get past the fact that it was prepared by microwaving for 8 minutes. Service was great. Baklava was good. It wasn't as sweet as baklavas go, it's loaded with minced pistachios and you get hints of butter flavor. Yum! I like the space. Cozy, homey. It does get loud on a busy weekend morning unfortunately.

There's something very lovely about this place! Their Turkish coffee and baklava are delicious.

We stayed at a nextdoor and found a best kept secret Old World Village in which we found The Coffee Tale. The cappucino was exccellent. We had some German pastries as well.

Great spot! Very comfy sitting areas. Fantastic customer service, despite being there only 1 barista a long line of clients. I had to wait about 15 mins just to order. The barista was working it though. The internet is pretty strong. There is sitting inside and outside. It was raining though so not ideal. The menu is great! I had the dark chocolate latte. Pretty delicious. Overall I recommend this place.

Chill coffee spot to read or work from. WiFi is fast and it seems not too crowded. For drinks, it's a bit slow since there's one person working and taking orders but nothing too bad. Biggest con is that they do not have a restroom so you'll have to use the German deli a little bit down the cobblestone in this plaza.

I had a great experience at the coffee shop. First, their banana latte is fresh and not too sweet, and their Turkish desserts are the best I have ever had!The most important part I wanted to share is about the barista. She is so kind and reliable. I left my wallet there and didn't realize it for four days, OMG! When I noticed I had lost it, I called them, and they said they had kept it.When I arrived at the coffee shop, the barista asked for my full name and compared my ID photo in my wallet with my actual face. She handled the situation of the missing item very well.This is so safe and delicious area!! I strongly recommend this caffe.

I was looking for a coffee shop while our drive home from Orange County so I came across this coffee shop, It was a bit out of the way but it looked cool, so decided to give it a try. Parking is crazy busy, but it may be because of the holidays and they have a Christmas market and items from Germany in that store so I can understand. Its a little Europe village which is really nice to see.The coffee place itself is nicely decorated, it has the Turkish style, decor is nice, however, I saw lots of dust which can be cleaner for a better presentation. They have lots of games if you would like to have some coffee and enjoy some game time. Drinks were okay, I have had better coffee. I am all about local coffee and enjoy supporting locals but I also love really good coffee and I did not feel it was the best, service and Baklava were amazing!!! My husband and I had just had breakfast and drove here for coffee and I wanted to give the baklava a try. It did not disappoint. We sat there for couple hours playing games and we really enjoyed it!I would return and give their coffee another try and definitely their baklava
