I came by only a few minutes before closing. Another woman walked in ahead of me about the same time. With their closing time nearing, I thought the person behind the counter was super friendly and engaging. She and the lady ahead of me were chatting about all their offerings since their case was on the empty side. When it was my turn she was still very pleasant and efficient, very surprised to not feel rushed when they were due to close soon. We're fans of the muffins and sourdough. Looking forward to trying their other offerings.

Every single dish could've used some salt and some fat (like butter). In other words, all the food was bland and lacked flavor.Smash Burger was not smashed. The patty itself was chunky like a normal burger. It was fairly plain. The chips were unseasoned too.The breakfast sandwich had a generous amount of cheese, bacon, and eggs. I asked for hash browns on the side. I normally love a good breakfast sandwich, but this was fairly bland too. The side of mayo helped a littleThe chicken gumbo bowl was bland as well. Added some hot sauce and salt, but still didn't care for it.People at the counter were generally friendly. The space seemed fairly clean.

My sweet baby sissy dropped off a surprise v-day gift which included a long sourdough bread (b/c I mentioned my current obsession with sourdough in passing and she definitely did not forget) and a giant chocolate chip cookie. Isn't she amazing?! :)As soon as I took a bite I had to ask her where these came from...and here I am now writing this review. I am shocked this bakery did not hit my radar!! I can't tell if this place has been around for 7 months or 3 years. I was looking through their photos and their grand opening photo said July 2024, but I see photos posted from 3 years ago. I will be so disappointed in myself if this place has been around for 3 years and I failed to know of its existence. Now that I know though...this will not help my cookie and pastry loving tummy. Lol.FYI: The sourdough baguette is very firm and chewy, so I imagine some will find it to be too tough on their jaws, but I did not mind.

Stopped by over the weekend to pick up a small 'thank you' for a relative. I decided to get the 2lb Sourdough since the employee said it was their most popular. I also picked up a Chocolate Chip Cookie for myself as a treat. Store is very clean and there's tables and chairs to sit and eat if you decide to order food off their menu. The pastry case was fully stocked on a Saturday late morning. Service was friendly and helpful, and the menu is easy to read. Only thing I wish there was a section where you could see what each bread type was. I'm a visual person and don't know my breads very well so it would've been helpful to see what is what. Other than that, I'd definitely come back to pick up some bread for myself, and maybe even try something off their food menu! This shop is also located in a fairly large plaza with tons of parking to be shared with other businesses. I'm not sure why other reviews say that the shopping center is busy with little parking - maybe I just came at a good time?

Stopped by on a Saturday and found this bakery located in a busy shopping center with a chaotic parking lot. Although customer service was friendly, when I asked about the ingredients of the bread, she didn't quite know. They had a variety of bread displayed that looked freshly baked. Sourdough comes 2lb ($12) and 3lb ($14) loaves. We bought the 3lb loaf sliced. I noticed they also sold sandwiches, but the hot sandwiches starting at$19 seemed a bit high. I'll try the bread first before I invest in the sandwich. The sourdough loaf had a great crust. The center was not light and airy, but more of a soft dense bread with smaller holes, with a slight tangy taste. The bread toasted is pretty good. Not quite my favorite sourdough bread, it was great to try.

This place is delicious!! My friend recommended and i knew it was a good sign when i saw a bunch of bread in the window. The girl who helped us was very welcoming and answered our questions. The owner (?) was hilarious!! I got the beef dip (a tiny bit too salty) and it came with POT ROAST AU JUS which was incredible! The whole sandwich was amazing. My friend got breakfast and she really liked it too. Got one of their 1 lb loaves to go and i ate that thing so fast. It was very soft. Its a smaller place but enough parking. Kinda diner decor. No bathrooms. Cant wait to go back!!!

This is a little cafe bakery with a simple dining area. The bread display looked delicious. The pastries and desserts also looked very delicious. David was at the register and gave a very warm welcome. He seemed knowledgeable and gave thoughtful recommendations.FOOD:Pastrami Sandwhich:This was AMAZING. The bread is delicious and the pastrami was soooo juicy and delicious! This was cooked so well and is hard to put down once you have started because you are so eager for that mext bite.Chef Alan came out and let us know that the Pastrami takes 5 days to cure the Pastrami and then 12 hours to cook and it just melts in your mouth!Breakfast Sandwhich with Bacon, cheddar, sourdough:OMG. This was delicious, I was expecting just like a few strips of bacon but there were like two layers of bacon and they were crispy and delicious. The eggs were cooked nicely, maybe a little bit of seasoning would be good like just some salt and pepper, but overall this thing was monstrously delicious. The sourdough again was great and the hashbrowns were a nice touch. Both of the sandwhiches were so big we had one half now and half later. OVERALL:While this is not a table service place, David was extremely helpful and checked in on us and got us water refills haha. This place should be on your list to check out and dine. The little details show the care and love rhat goes into these dishes. It took us about 15-20 minutes to get our food so if you are on a 30 minute lunch it might be tight but I think still worth it.Worth the money and the drive out here from Garden Grove.

Do you like bread? How about good bread? Then this place is for you! Holy sweet sourdough bread holy shit. That is my pleasure not even guilty because I feel 0 guilt eating it. Walking in, they have all kinds of bread but sourdough is what has my heart. They even have a slicer machine that cuts the bread and oh boy is it fun to watch! Do yourself a favor and grab some bread! The smell the sound and taste! Everything was pure excellence

What an awesome find! I just happened to notice this place while I was going to my dentist next door, but was closed on the day of my dental appointment. I told my wife about it and she went the following day to pick up some sourdough bread. It was a decent size and wasn't sure if we can finish before expiration, but we were done with the whole 2 lb. loaf in about four days. It was so soft in the middle and tasty, I couldn't control myself from eating nonstop. Had about 4 slices the first day and have been eating about 2 to 3 slices every day. Came by today with the whole family and picked up a 3 lb. loaf. Also tried white chocolate macadamia cookie and oatmeal raisin cookie, which were also really good. A bit pricey at $4 but didn't mind based on quality and taste. Service was excellent and friendly. Owner/baker/chef Alan came out to talk to us for a bit. He was really cool and passionate about baking and mentioned he will be adding some food in the near future. It has a rustic, old fashioned bakery vibe, which I like. Nothing fancy, just really good quality products.

Decided to try a new spot in the area and while the customer service was great, the food wasn't. I ordered the breakfast burrito and going based off the menu, it stated "breakfast burrito: served with eggs, 1 meat (bacon or sausage), hashbrowns and cheese." There were additional meats listed below with an additional cost, therefore I was under the impression that as long as you ordered either bacon or sausage, it would be included in the $15 cost for the burrito. Once I got my receipt I realized I was charged the extra cost for the bacon, but left it alone as I just wanted my food so I could go. The cheese in the burrito was not cooked - it looked like they threw a slice in before wrapping it up, the eggs were cold, and the hashbrowns were oily and bland. I didn't try any of the pastries or bread - this review is only on the burrito.
