The Burger Place

I had spent the day walking around the nearby convention center and was craving a nice burger to recharge. Checking Google, The Burger Place was nearby and has ample, free parking. At first glance, it's a bit hard to come by from the street - particularly since it faces the 5 freeway, but if you drive in closer, you'll find it located adjacent to the front desk of the Sonesta Hotel. You don't have to be a guest to dine in: for a Saturday evening, it was pretty empty and easy to get a seat. The waitress was lovely and helpful! Brought food in no time and the TBP burger really hit the spot and topped it off with a Diet Coke. Hours on Google list the Burger place hours open from 5am - 9pm which makes sense since there's a breakfast buffet on one side of the dining room. I also noticed booster seats and crayons, making it family friendly as well. Good for a quick bite without the long, touristy lines of Anaheim on a Saturday night. Check out out!

This was a hidden jewel my wife and I found while we were enjoying our stay there at Disneyland! The staff is so friendly and kind! The food is amazing, and taste fresh. Sal and Rudy really make it a fun experience. It's clean and the atmosphere is nice. Prices don't kill your wallet like Disneyland does. I will be back to this hotel to stay and eat again! Thanks!

This place is fabulous! The restaurant is inside the hotel, the food and staff is great! I live locally and I'd eat here everyday of the week if I could. I would've taken a picture of my burger but I ate it too fast. Ask for Sal.. he's the best! He knows the beer and food very well.

Wonderful! Went here for breakfast & dinner while staying at the hotel. The night before, our server was so friendly and funny. I can't remember her name because I was so tired but she had long braids and a nose ring. Loved talking to her!!! What a sweetheart. This morning, we were served by Maria. She was also very kind and even gave us some to-go cups for our coffee and water cups (we hadn't asked for extra water cups!) The gesture was very thoughtful. I get the vibe that some very chill, cool & fun people work here. the food is delicious. I had the breakfast burger for dinner and omg....the patty was cooked just how I like it.

Sal is amazing. The food was great. This place has amazing service. The restaurant is very clean and not overcrowded. Would recommend this as very family friendly with great adult beverages. Overall great place.

The burgers are delicious. Out bartender was super attentive even though it was vey busy he was taking care of all the tables

The service was horrible and our order was completely wrong. I could understand a few mistakes but this was way too many mistakes to count. Our waiter was not knowledgeable about the menu and ingredients.Our waiter failed to offer my 10 year old daughter a kids menu. I had to ask for one and then the waiter forgot to bring my daughter crayons and never brought her any crayons.We waited nearly 1 hour for our food to come out. Our appetizers and main course came at the same time.The waiter almost dropped the hot wings and the Dr. Pepper on my son.Our appetizers were cold. The loaded tots were unedible. We sent them back and they came back out cold and unedible again.One of my son's ordered his burger Medium Rare and the burger was made Well Done. They never remade his burger.My other son ordered his burger Medium Well and the burger was made Well Done. They never remade his burger.One burger was missing the Mayo and Bacon. After about 10 minutes of more waiting they brought out a side of Mayo and Bacon.The other burger was missing the Garlic Mayo, the Fried Egg and the grilled onion. They never fixed or remade the burger.I ordered my burger cut in half and of course it wasn't cut in half. I ordered my burger with onion rings on the side but they brought my burger with fries. I had to wait an additional 30 minutes for onion rings. By the time the onion rings finally came we were done eating.We ask for refills of our soda 4 times and never got a refill.We asked for a refill of our water 2 times and never got a refill.My son asked for a side of ranch and never got ranch.My ceaser salad has some brown pieces of lettuce and hard pieces of the lettuce core. The chicken for the salad was dry and rubbery.We asked to speak to a manager, the waiter said ok and then the waiter left our table and never came back at all. I waited about 20 minutes and I had to get up out my seat to find another waiter, who told me that the manager was gone for the day.So, my concerns were never heard and were not addressed or rectified.The amount of problems with our food and experience at this restaurant were unacceptable and inexcusable.The only thing I can say good about this restaurant is that my son enjoyed the chicken tenders.We spent over $100 and the only "good" properly cooked food that came to our table was the $8 chicken tenders. This was a very disappointing and very bad experience.My other son got food poisoning and diarrhea. He was sick all night! Unbelievably horrible experience.

Wow! This place is horrible, and blame either the Sonesta or whatever management is running the place. Beer was flat and the bar was technically closed the entire time there. 6pm to close. Regrettably, this place looked understaffed for an almost fully booked hotel. The server asked our friend to try the beer before purchasing because he knew it was flat.. wth? Arguing back. Etc etc
