Four of us had reservations here at 5:30 PM on a Sunday night. It was quite busy!It has a very cozy atmosphere, a little loud, but not too bad. We were promptly seated in a booth for four people. Rob was our server. He was professional and friendly. It was Restaurant week so we all chose something off that menu which included a starter and entrée for $50. We also wanted to order an appetizer before our restaurant week menu, but found out that was not allowed. It was kind of odd since we're willing to pay full price for the appetizer. We couldn't understand that at all. But it was fine, saved us some calories and money. My brother and his wife both got the filet mignon with potatoes. Alice was happy that they let her switch out the mashed potatoes for the shoestring French fries since those are her favorite!We had never eaten here before. I had the Seabass with broccolini instead of the rice and my husband had the short ribs and mashed potatoes. We've both enjoyed them very much.Two of us added on the restaurant week desserts which included the tollhouse cookie pie and the crème brûlée. The pie was good and the crème brûlée was excellent.

Our Christmas Eve dinner at Bungalow was nothing short of a disaster. From the moment we walked in, it was clear this place has no idea how to treat its guests.The manager, who seemed to have no interest in ensuring a pleasant experience, seated us at the absolute worst table outside, in the corner, it felt like we were being punished for even showing up.As for the food? Let's start with the steak: it was the most flavorless, bland piece of meat I've ever had the misfortune of eating. I wouldn't even call it a steak, it was a sad excuse for one. It was an insult to the holiday. The sides were no better, lukewarm and tasteless.This place ruined what should have been a memorable Christmas Eve. If you're thinking of dining at Bungalow, do yourself a favor and go to TACO BELL!!!

It's been years since we've been here. What a great experience coming back during the Christmas season. While the restaurant inside is small, they have gotten creative and opened up patios in the back. The service was so great. The food spoke for itself. My husband got the ribeye and I got the lobster pasta and both were delicious. We also got the Thai calamari which was delightful.

Went here for a company dinner and we were seated inside a tent. It was quiet warm and all the food are good!A lot of appetizers were ordered by my boss including the oysters and they are fresh !I ordered lamb chop and they are good. I was so full when it came to dessert time but I took a bite of their brown butter cake and they are delish!Valet was $8 at the back of the restaurant

Located in Corona Del Mar, this place is always busy! You can find valet parking in the back. The atmosphere was so lively and the service was excellent. Let's talk about the food.The salad was delicious and yet it was reasonably priced. I just love the dressing. Yummy! I also got the sea bass. It was actually delicious. It was served over white rice but I just ate the sea bass. So good! It's a great spot to eat either inside or outside. I would definitely come back. For Thinsulin fans, there's plenty of green light options.

What a fantastic dining experience this evening at The Bungalow in Corona Del Mar. The hostesses were very friendly and professional as was the Valet attendant. We were seated at a lovely booth in the dining room. Derrick was our server extraordinare. What an amazing person, professional and kind. We started with drinks and my wife had her favorite, Don Julio Blanco with Topo Chico and three limes muddled with mint and I had bottled water and a soft drink. We both started with salads and my wife had the Cesar salad and I had the wedge. Both salads were presented well and very tasty. Oscar, another fine individual came by and brought us fresh bread and also attended to our table. We so enjoyed the evening with great conversation and fantastic food.Derrick took our entree order as well and my wife had the seabass entree, butterfield and I had the filet mignon entree with melted blue cheese and a side of sautéed spinach. The meals came out beautifully prepared and presented and the taste of both meals were excellent. I finished with an Americano and some additional conversation and then Kevin, one of the managers, stopped by to thank us for coming in while asking how everything was. We thanked Kevin and praised the staff, food and overall experience. Highly recommended

Not sure what happened to this place but it's gone way down hill. We went for dinner last night and after telling us they are known for their steaks and that they will put their steaks up against anyone, they proceeded to serve me a well done steak when I ordered it medium rare. To add insult to injury, on a bill of over 1K, they added a 30 fee to cover the credit card charge. When we asked about this we were told we could pay cash and it would be removed. This place is a low tier restaurant pretending to be a nice place.

We've driven by The Bungalow SO many times and finally decided to try it out. We were missing out for sure and now know why we always see people dining there! It's located on pch in Corona Del Mar. Valet is $8 or you can find street parking in the neighborhood and walk. We got seated outside near the fireplace, it was romantic for date night, but bring a jacket in case you're cold! Our server Sean was so nice and welcoming as it was our first time, he had great recommendations!We started off with cocktails and then ordered our food. We ordered the broiled filet mignon burger which was absolutely amazing! So juicy and rich in flavor. Fries were also perfect. 11/10 mealSea bass was miso marinated and came with jasmine rice. I loved it! Perfect flavor and cooked to perfection. 10/10We ended with bread pudding for dessert, topped with ice cream and fresh whip cream, yum!

We've been coming here on various occasions for a couple years. Menu-wise, the food is good if a little overpriced. But we aren't often here for the food, and the crowds for that speak for themselves. We love coming here at the end of a night out for a nightcap and dessert, as we did this past weekend. Service tends to be attentive. The drink menu seems well-rounded, and this is one of the few places around clever enough to offer a wide selection of half-bottles of wine--which goes perfectly with a well-made dessert. The molten chocolate lava cake, for example, is delicious.
