Great place to grab some food, hang out and watch some games, service is amazing definitely recommend coming here

Service is very chill, good for team dinners or to watch the game with friends. The food is so good, I love a good pizza and the ranch is that good ranch. They have beer on tap which is always a plus. This is a family place!

Came here for a fundraiser for our kids school. For a Thursday the place was pretty dead. Nice clean open place though with a bunch of tv s and a bar seating area. They were only missing a tv in front of the bar. Food wise. I loved that you can buy a personal pizza which was good for the kids for 8 bucks. Nice size. We also ordered a Caesar salad. It was good but too much dressing. Otherwise the pizza was ok. Nothing to talk about. Me and wifey thought the sauce was too bland. The owners were super nice though.

Took my family to try this place out on a Friday night. Ordered three different pies, Cheese, Hawaiian, and a 3 topping pizza. The pizza was above average, but the people there were drunk fools and cussing up a storm. The restaurant owner didn't say anything to them and kept giving them more beer. I get it, he's making money but he's losing customers by allowing people to act like that. Remember it's suppose to be a family restaurant. Never again !!!

Good place for the neighborhood to hang out after a soccer, baseball, softball game. They do have beers on the menu. For pizza fans, it's just okay.

I was there for a fund raiser for my child's grade school last week. To say they were underprepared for it would be an understatement. They had 4 - 5 people in the kitchen, one person at the register, and chaos all around. Our school pre-sold tickets for personal pizzas and drinks. So That's Amore should have had an idea of the volume to expect. Unfortunately, they seemed to be caught off guard and had everyone waiting extended times. So there were lots of upset parents as it was a week day and lots of us came straight from work. I personally waited 1 hour and 20 minutes for 3 pre-ordered personal pizzas. I would have waited longer, but a fellow dad who was there almost as long as I was had to leave and said that I can have his pizzas when they called his name. He arrived after me but had to go to attend to a personal matter. He was pissed. So was I. They ended up calling his name 10 minutes later. He arrived a 1/2 hour after I did so I can only assume they buried my order or skipped it or something. I'll never know. They may have never called my name. I took his pizzas and left. I didn't care if they had anchovies or were balls of uncooked dough at that point. I was hungry and anxious because I had a sick son at home that I had to get to. My plan was to just pick up the pizzas and get home. My mother in law kindly sat with my sick son. It went from picking up pizzas after work and being home in 15 minutes to waiting for an hour and 20 minutes for 3 mediocre personal pies. What a nightmare. As for the food: the dough was chewy, the toppings (cheese and pepperoni) were super greasy. It was a horrible pizza and I have never said that. Hard to mess up pizza but that crust had the texture of a dish towel. Although a dish towel may have gone down easier. This pizza place has been in Whittier for a long time. It burned down years ago and had been closed for an extended period to repair all the damage. I had looked forward to trying their pizza again for the first time in a long time. They fixed it up nice. The place looks brand new on the inside. Now the only thing burned in this place are the customers.

I was heartbroken to hear that they closed but I'm glade That's Amore reopened. My brother and I went last Saturday night. We ordered a large meatball pizza. It was great. The meatballs were very tasty and the pizza had a good amount of cheese. We sat and enjoyed our food at the bar. We also order 2 large IPA beers. The owner walked up to us at the bar and asked us how our pizza was. We told him we thought it was great the were glad he reopened. The owner also told use that they have not advertised that they have reopened yet. Right now it's word of mouth. My advice for areas of improvement. 1) a couple of napkin dispensers should be placed on the bar counter & 2) a pizza slice server should always be brought with the pizza. The pizza had a lot of cheese and we had to ask one of the servers if we could get one. The bar area needs tv's but while talking to the owner he told us that's one thing that will happen. Other then the we were happy campers. I look forward to eating here many time.

Order by phone a meatball sandwich to pick up.Arrived at 5:30to pick up,and there was a long line from the door to counter. They had many team parties and were under staffed. 1 man working counter and also serving bar. I was in line 20 min when a female worker came to help.It took me 31 min to get to the counter. Lady told me I could have just walked up to pick up but that means I would have cut in line to do so. They should have signage for pick up only. The meatball sandwich was large and pretty decent but It was kind of cold and I was disappointed with the experience.

Pizza was good , only issue I had they over baked the pizza cheese and toppings were a bit on the burnt side..

The pizza itself was ok, pretty good. But the service was what did it for me. Within their description said, "family friendly," which is definitely in understatement for the childlike chaos my family walked in on. I guess there was a kids party but there were kids running around everyone. It's a small restaurant and they allowed the kids to run around everywhere. When the food came, the server made a rude and odd comment. We were a party of 7 and ordered two large pizzas and wings. The server said something like, "two pizzas, really? Do you want to go boxes now or later? Are you going to finish all that tonight?" It was really awkward and just rude. Why would someone make a comment like that when you have paying customers. Lastly was the overall atmosphere. I wasn't sure if it was a self-serve or ask your server restaurant. Regardless no one came to our table to check on us or ask if we needed anything else. We had to refill our own drinks and grab our own utensils. There are better places out there for sure.
