Thai Corner Kitchen

Got take out here because we were too lazy to drive further than two lights from home.Ordered the chicken pad Thai and chicken pineapple fried rice. Thought it was ok. Pad Thai tasted soy sauce forward and the pineapples were very sour in the fried rice. Nothing special but not bad.Don't know if I would come back.

Mom and pop type restaurant that serves Thai food. It is also 100% halal, if that matters to you. The service seems to be both sit down and take out friendly. The space is smallish, but didn't feel cramped. It wasn't too crowded when I got there, so I was able to get seated right away.So I had this bookmarked because a coworker of mine had recommended this place and specifically the spicy eggplant and fried rice, which I did end up ordering. It should be noted that my coworker and his wife eat vegetarian and I mentioned that I was trying to eat less meat in general, hence the rec. They also live in this area. With regard to the eggplant and fried rice, I thought the flavors were great, the portions were solid, and the prices reasonable. Overall, a great neighborhood type spot that is a great choice if you eat halal or vegetarian. Parking was pretty easy as well, as there are a lot of stalls in the allocated lot to this strip mall.

If you come to look for this restaurant, it doesn't say Thai Corner Kitchen. The sign says Thai Halal. I came here late into the night and the entire restaurant was empty. I ordered the pad see ew with chicken and it was a decent pad see ew. When I asked about the free soda check in, the lady said they don't do that and she never once checked in on us. Service was pretty awful and I wouldn't recommend this place as somewhere you want to take your family and friends. The overall vibe was a 0.

Experience: Came here during the week around 6ish. No one was there. Got served immediately. It was a good dinner meal. Stood for a little over an hour. Good experience. Food: Ordered three dishes to share. Pad kee mao, papaya salad, and seafood rice dish. Everything seemed very authentic and serving size was plenty for four people. The salad was so refreshing and tasty, the seafood rice dish good and fresh, pad kee mao was okay but could have used a bit more sauce. Service: Our server was awesome, attentive, and very kind. Verdict: Everything was good, a solid dinner.

The food was authentic. The tomyum soup was savory, the Mongolian beef had the right amount of salt, and the green curry was not as spicy as I requested. I appreciated the presentation of the tomyum soup. It was very authentic!The only gripe that I had with the restaurant is the portion of the food. It is enough for a couple, but not enough to feed a family of 3.

Always supporting halal spots! This place serves family style food where you can choose the spice level. We LOVED the Thai soup, love how it comes in a self- heating soup bowl for some fire action! I never had yellow massaman curry before and it is a great combination of spicy and sweet. On the thinner side but full of flavor. There was a lot of love for the beef dish as well. Would love to try the mango sticky rice and Thai iced tea another time :) Service was fast and ambiance was casual, family style and relaxed.

We visited this restaurant after spending the day at Universal Studios. This was the only restaurant that offered Halal Thai food so we had to eat at this place. The exterior of the restaurant looked a bit ominous because it was late at night and there was nobody else inside the restaurant, but we still decided to give it a try. I ordered the waterfall beef that came with beef and assorted vegetables like cucumbers and onions. When I received my dish, there were four pieces of meat inside the dish and 75% of the plate was covered in vegetables!! Service was terrible because the waiter gave us water bottles instead of setting up water cups before the customers arrive. The waiter brought us tissues from the bathroom to use as napkins because they had no regular napkins in stock. The bathroom looked like it had just been closed because there was tape on the walls and it looked like it had not been used in a long time. The mood was chill because we were the only group inside the restaurant and it was 9:00 pm on a Saturday night. I would not recommend this restaurant for Halal Thai food because you can find better restaurants throughout California. This restaurant looked like it had the potential to succeed because it is Halal, but it did not come close to exceeding expectations. I rarely leave one star reviews, but this needed to be written about because of the service at this restaurant.
