This was our third time without disappointment. The service was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We ordered tapas which were delivered quickly and tasted delicious. We skipped the paella having it twice before. The server allowed a tasting of a couple of wines enabling us to make a great choice. It was a birthday celebration and Maria went beyond to endure my sister was happy.

We've come here on a few separate occasions and loved it every time. The ambiance is beautiful: a warm and cozy interior that buzzes with liveliness when the restaurant is full but also allows for more relaxed/intimate conversation. The food is excellent, and we've ordered quite a bit of the menu and can recommend most of it. The only thing I can critique is some of the lobster in the Maine lobster paella was gritty/sandy, but it wasn't every piece, and I still recommend this dish for devoted seafood lovers. My favorite paella is the smoked NY strip: it's decadent in its flavors and meats and comes with a fun dome when presented. The tapas are great: our favorites that we must order every time are the Brussel sprouts and potatoes. (Seriously, do not skip the Brussel sprouts). The service is excellent and so friendly here. Our most recent visit, we loved having Gonzalo as our server: he was great with recommendations and aware of allergies and overall very nice and added to our experience. When we celebrated our anniversary here, the free dessert was amazing and I could rave about it forever (it was a smaller portion of the French toast dessert).Cannot say enough good things about Teleferic and im so glad they came to LB!

Great ambiance and good service our food came out fast and had my water refilled. Except they don't offer parking validation. Patatas Bravas: 4/5 potatoes was good except for some salty pieces at the bottom. Crab Croquettes: 3.5/5 you could definitely taste the crab but a bit too much cream cheese. Gambas al ajillo: 3/5 fresh shrimp but drowning in A LOT of oil. I think the sauce was just oil. Special beef empanadas: 4.5/5 very good tasting but not the authentic flour empanada skin, more like gyoza deep fried skin. Paella negra: 5/5 to me. I liked that they asked if we wanted the socarrat. I wouldn't say ours had too much of that socarrat but still bits and pieces. Oh and I liked the crispy garlic pieces on top of the paella. Much better paella than se villas and habana ones. This place would be on my paella go to list.

One of my friends recommended eating here for a celebration, and I am sooo glad she did. I hadn't heard of it before and had no idea what to expect. We arrived during the late afternoon, so the sun was setting and this place looked gorgeous on the outside and the inside. The furniture was beautiful as well, and it set the mood for what was to come. Service was good, but there were moments they were trying to take our food too early. After that, they stopped taking the plates out or stopping by our table, and we were desperate for water. Luckily, the food was absolutely amazing so I still will give it 5 stars. I just wish the dishes were bigger, but they are tapas. What we ordered:Crab Croquetas: this was so goooood! It was the perfect amount of crunchy and creamy.Patatas Bravas: the flavor on this was also amazing. There's cream with a tomato-ish sauce.Empanadas: the empanadas reminded me more of fried wontons with a different flavor to it. I liked this with the sauce, but would probably skip this and order something else next time. Prime Wellington: the mix of the puff pastry, sauce, and short ribs was perfect. The potatoes that it comes with were also delicious!! It was so crispy and light. Paella Mixta: this was definitely the star of the show. I haven't had a good paella in a while, and I loved how crispy the rice was in the pan. We devoured all the dishes, but especially this one. Soooo good. I can't wait to go back and try new things (and get some of the dishes we already had)!

The Family and I had lunch yesterday at Telefèric Barcelona. We arrived around 12;30 without a reservation. The restaurant was buzzing but I wasn't surprised. The weather was beautiful after three days of rain and people were out and about. We have been to tapas restaurants before and it is one of our favorite kinds of food and dining experiences. The concept of sharing a dish or small bites isn't foreign to us. Although, I have to say that Telefèric Barcelona is probably the closest the Family and I will get to Barcelona for now. The footprint of the restaurant is pretty small and beautifully decorated. It is a comfortable unpretentious environment. The menu is just as comforting and unpretentious. It was hard to choose what to eat. So many things on the menu had my imagination soaring. While we were trying to decide on what to order, our server, Biel arrived. He asked if we had been to Telefèric Barcelona. For the Mrs. it was the second time. The Mrs. and I started off with two Margaritas. They were really good and the bartender made them from scratch. No mix! We then moved on to the food. Starting with Crab Croquetas which were topped with tuna sashimi and spicy aioli. Next were the Empanadas stuffed with roasted chicken and served with spicy aioli. The presentation was innovative and the flavor and texture were incredible. I would describe the Empanadas as more of a fried ravioli in their appearance. We then moved on to a Paella Bomb which Paella arancino(rice) filled with shrimp bisque that you inject into the dish yourself. Being able to inject the bisque was a fun way to engage with the dish. The Mrs. and I shared the Prime Wellington from the Platos menu. Telefèric Barcelona's take on Beef Wellington keeps the tradition of the dish but with better flavors in my view. Braised short ribs wrapped Ibérico ham and encased in a flaky puff pastry roll, served with Spanish-style potatoes. The Wellington was delivered and injected by the food runner with a large metal syringe that held the beef demi glacé. We loved it! I have to say that you CANNOT dine at Telefèric Barcelona without having the Wellington. My daughter ordered the Gambellini which were the most delicate ravioli I've ever tasted. They were stuffed with shrimp and bacon. The sauce that accompanied the ravioli was so light and rich. For dessert we shared the Trío selection of Telefèric's most popular desserts: churros, torrija and "Flan & Coffee". Ice cream was included to add to the richness of each dessert. The "Flan & Coffee" were my favorite. The pace of our meal was perfect. We didn't feel rushed at all which I know is a concept in the Spanish dining experience that many Americans don't embrace in their gastronomical lives. It was also great to hear Castilian Spanish being spoken. The service we received from Biel and the rest of the staff we interacted with was great. I look forward to returning to Telefèric Barcelona.

Finally got to check out the newest location of Teleferic Barcelona, and it's definitely worth stopping by! Tucked in the gorgeous 2nd & PCH mall, this beautiful, Tulum-style decorated Spanish restaurant is definitely the spot to take your loved ones or date to celebrate a special occasion! As with all the other Teleferic Barcelona locations, they specialize in Spanish style tapas (my favorites being the pulpo, tuna taquitos, oysters and gambas), paella (my favorite is the paella negra) and cocktails (my favorites are the tourist, Ibiza gin and tonic, dragon rose). Service was a bit slow at this location given how busy it got, but this would still be my pick to stop by if you're craving quality authentic Spanish food in Orange County! Great addition to 2nd and PCH! Authentic Spanish tapas and entrees, fun cocktail menu and super friendly and hospitable staff, many of whom are from Spain or speak Spanish. Been here twice since it opened and had a great experience both times. Food is tasty, albeit portions are a little small if sharing with a group, but it's tapas so that's expected. Get the paella socarrat style for the crispy bottom typical to the original Valencia paella. Jamon croquetas, gambas al ajillo, papas and the paella were my favorites. I find it easy for these types of "chain" restaurants to miss the mark, but Teleferic has maintained authenticity, quality and service while establishing a local feel.
