Drove by West Covina and found this place for a quick bite. Parking is plentiful. This restaurant is not very big; decor is simple but comfortable. We ordered a Seafood Congee and a Baked Pork Chop Rice with Tomato Sauce. Service was decent and food same out relatively quickly.I was pleasantly surprised that the food was actually very tasty. The Baked Pork Chop rice was especially good, with a generous amount of meat on top of a bed of fried rice. The congee had very good texture; with a fair amount of fish, shrimp, and squid. Prices are also reasonable. This is a solid Hong Kong style cafe.

This used to be Delicious Food Corner Express. Located in a strip mall in the corner right next to Tokyo Central. Ample parking.Clean restaurant. Great customer service. Food came out fast and LARGE portion. Overall, stellar Hong Kong cafe food. This place is on a regular rotation for us. Kids love the food here.

Everything was just OKAY. Service wasn't top notch or horrible. IT was just OKAY. Food comes in a timely manner depending on what time you go. We recently went for breakfast and it was just OKAY. There are other spots that are better in terms of service. Ambiance: for a sunday breakfast it was pretty dead. The place isn't big but there are wooden chairs and tables with booth like seating on the edges. It can get loud. Food: everything was just OKAY. I got the NY steak with eggs and everything was pretty bland. The wonton noodle soup is which we normally get and it was okay. The best thing we got was the siu mai which was delicious. Everything was just okay. We would rather drive to the further locations for better service and ambiance.

Been to many Delicious Food Corners and this one is a bit smaller hence being "express". For the most part they serve very similar stuff to that of the regular DFC. They seemed to be missing a few of the items I asked for (grilled sole fillet and some dimsum items) so I ended up trying out these.Grilled Chicken Steak - It was solid. Nothing special but it tasted good. I got it with the mushroom sauce and I enjoyed it. Nice overall meal. (4/5)Fried Chicken Wings w/ Spicy Salt - This tasted similar to that of other DFC. DFC knows how to make chicken wings because they were crispy and full of taste. It's worth getting and for $12 they give you a reasonable amount of wings (like 10). (5/5)Overall price was pretty reasonable, I believe I spent $32 before tip. Service was actually very good and they were attentive. I would be back if I was craving HK style food.

Fast service, delicious and authentic Hong Kong-style food. Table of 2 seated immediately on a Saturday afternoon. Highly recommend the Bamboo Dumplings, Curry Pork Chop, and Iced Ribenda with Lemon!

You can pretty much always find me at DFC, as it's my family's favorite HK cafe! This new location in West Covina specializes in Hong Kong Western cuisine and the food is absolutely delicious! Where else can you get German pork knuckles served with a hearty side of spaghetti? Think giant tender pieces of pork with just the right amount of fat and crispy skin! The bones make great leftovers too and in true Cantonese style, we like using them to make congee the next day! The baked seafood in cream sauce is also a delight! Pro tip: get it with fried rice for a flavor explosion that pairs perfectly with all the melted cheesy goodness! If you're more of a sandwich person, the baguette is outstanding! I personally prefer the pork chop, but the chicken steak is also super popular. I love the light breading on the pork chop, as it complements the crisp lettuce, slice of cheddar and crunchy golden baguette really well. Honestly, this sandwich kind of reminds me of an elevated version of a famous classic and I love how it comes with crinkle cut fries for an added dose of childhood nostalgia. If this is your first time here, you must try the fried chicken wings or fried squid with spicy salt! This is one of my favorite dishes to order at any Chinese restaurant, as I simply love the taste and feel like any protein tastes great when prepared in this style! Highly recommend also capping your meal off with an iced lemon tea or iced milk tea, as both are refillable and super refreshing! Overall, DFC is very cozy and the ambiance is quite comfortable. It's a great place to visit with the entire family and the service is excellent! The waiters are all very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, so they are happy to answer any questions. So happy to have visited yet another location of DFC - the experience was outstanding, as always!

I thought I was in the wrong place the first time I came here. Where were they? Where was their red and black sign? I drove all around the Tokyo Central/Fitness 19 parking lot before I realized there is no Delicious Food Corner signage. Their signage says DFC Express. When I first saw it, I thought "Delaware Fried Chicken?" This location has been going through growing pains. I'm not sure why they called themselve express. The food choices are supposedly less, but not by much. The waiter there told me the first time I went that they had to relocate the kitchen cooking staff to their newer Rowland Heights location, and that their Cantonese food like noodles and congee would be coming back when they moved around their chefs. Their Cantonese food has come back. I've tried their German pork knuckle, pork chops, chicken steaks and their seafood chow mein. Their food is okay. The pork knuckle is enough for 2 people to share. The meat is cut into pieces for easy eating. The meat is flavorful. I don't like their pork chops with lemongrass. Maybe if they didn't use lemongrass, I would like it more. Their chicken steak was a large piece of thigh that is marinated and fried. It is pretty good with their black pepper sauce. Ordering is easy online. It makes me lazy that I don't have to call in and use my bad Chinese, nor do I have to go in to order and wait. One of the waiters now recognizes my face. DFC Express had been a good place to me. I keep on finding myself returning.

Food portion is big that I make it into at least 2 meals. Service is fast & menu has a nice amount of selection one can select from. There's a small selection of dim sum which you can order in the evening. Have been here when it was Delicious Food Corner DFC.
