Taqueria Mexico

It's a restaurant I used to go to often for tacos, but the taste changed so I haven't been there for a while. People have changed and the taste of the tacos has changed a bit, but the price is cheap and the taste is above average. I always intend to visit this restaurant again.

We were craving some mexican food and stumbled on this place. Delighted to say this was one of the best place we've ever tried (HIGH compliment from a SD/TJ local who has plenty access to BOMB tacos )!What we ordered:- build your own-ish burrito:i got the BUCHE meats, rice and beans. It was fire! The buche was well seasoned, not too salty or too overcooked! The rice and beans were good too! I did wish they gave us a bigger portion to fill up the burrito & gave lime instead of lemon but I'll take what I can get! 5/5Service & Atmosphere:- Service: they're friendly and helpful! It was super quick, we went in and out in less than 15 minutes.- Atmosphere: the place is huge, there's plenty of seatings. I love all the decoration and art on the wall!Overall, I can't recommend this place enough! I still dream about it. A good taco/burrito depends on the meats and its seasoning and they mastered it! I will be coming back! 10/10

Food was mediocre at best, asada and pastor was bland. Way too pricey for what you get, tacos are really small and the burritos are small, all rice and beans. This was my second shot with them, I wont be back. $47 bucks for two burritos and ten really small tacos, overpriced and underwhelming.

This is my first visit. It's not often that I am happy with a dish from my first bite. The meatless breakfast burrito I had this AM was Delicious! The rice and beans were perfect - fluffy and fresh. The eggs had that grilled flavor I love. And the green salsa gave it a perfect kick. The dining area is much bigger than I expected and very clean. The workers were friendly and encouraging with my pedestrian Spanish. The pricing is reasonable. I'm looking forward to trying other dishes very soon.

Craving tacos since the weekend so we came in for a quick lunch. Selection was your standard options. Service was a bit off. I mean you walk up say how many tacos and then what kind. The cashier today was a little distracted and not the most engaging. The tacos were Ok. Meat was a bit dry. Not dried out jerky, but not juicy goodness. Place was clean and and there was plenty of seating. Tenía deseos de comer tacos. Decidimos venir a Taqueria Mexico. Ordenamos tacos de chorizo, carnitas, asada, y buche. La carne estaba seca, pero no fue terrible. Espera,os que la siguiente visita sea mejor.

Food is decent but they're not running the place well. Their website and door signs all say "Open at 7:30 AM." While dropping off my car for repairs I decided to have some breakfast. I see that people are inside so I walk over and see the signs. Great, it's open. Or so the signs say. I try the doors and locked. People inside just ignore you. A vendor shows up for them and they come to the door to let him in and then finally say to me, "we're open at 8." Good grief.

The people are very nice and the place didn't look dirty (even though the bathroom could use a little cleanup).However to me the most obvious and important part of any restaurant was the food. And the food was not good. I got an al pastor mulita and 3 tacos (al pastor, cabeza, asada). It wasn't good. The meat was hard and smelled really bad and it tastes horrible. It wasn't too late (7:20 pm, they close at 11pm) so if the food already tastes bad I don't think it'll taste much better. Even if I give them the benefit of the doubt, I don't think I can ignore the fact that their tacos are super small. Yes, it's $2.19 but the tacos were the size of my palms and I'm 5"2 to give you a better picture.I won't be coming back. It's a shame because they're so close to my house and the people seem sweet but I couldn't even finish my tacos, threw away two of them after having a bite. I can't waste any more money on this

La verdad el otro día compré 15 tacos llegué a la casa y eran una porquería Saqué los tacos del aluminio y se quebraba la tortilla mal calentadas deberían de agarrar gente que sepa bien aunque sea calentar las tortillas xq esa Sra no es la primera vez. La c at e asada estaba bien seca Deberían cocinar de poquita Lástima de lo que gasta uno para que den esa porquería

The best tacos and the best deal, always go on Tuesdays AND Wednesdays. I love the little older lady behind the counter.
