My favorite taco spot for quick eats in the area. Cashiers are always super friendly and the seating area is nice and clean. My go to order is a taco dorado and two street tacos- all for less than $10. The tacos are filled with meat and the toppings are generous.

Been coming here for years and will never get over this place. The burrito bowl is better than chipotles in my opinion. It's so filling and for $15 I get the bowl, chips and a drink. Pretty great deal if you ask me. Stuck by them even as prices went up and gotta say they've done an amazing job at making the food 100% worth the price. The horchata here is by far the best I've tried in Santa Ana !!! You gotta try it and get the large! My boyfriend tried it and fell in love with it that he drank my entire beverage. The service is also very friendly. Many bilingual speakers so you won't have any problems here. They have some seating with a tv in the corner for the guests. They also keep the store very clean.

Taqueria Jalapenos has become my go-to spot for delicious crispy potato tacos. I've been here countless times, and each visit reaffirms why I keep coming back. The crispy potato tacos are simply unbeatable--they're bursting with flavor, perfectly crispy, and always hit the spot. If you're a fan of potato tacos like me, this is the place to be. While I can't speak for their other offerings (since I can't resist ordering the potato tacos every time), I can confidently say that Taqueria Jalapenos knows how to do them right!

Not going to lie, this place was probably the stingiest Mexican restaurant I've been to in my lifeOrdered a tripa burrito. Have like 4 pieces of meet.100 pounds of ride and 100 poundings of beans Same with the torttila. Cheese was about half an inch. It was trash taco meet, like a tiny layer of that makes senseI can make better Mexican food and I'm not a chef yea but do not here an excuse or you need something from Walmart

There are plenty of taco trucks around that I've wanted to try but wanted to try a restaurant first because cleaner?Ordered a carne asada burrito but overall, it was nothing special. The carne wasnt plentiful and nothing that great. The beans were above average. Rice is just rice and the size of the burrito was smaller than average. The hot sauce, was just regular hot sauce. Overall, just an average place that serves and average burrito.

Final verdict: 3 stars. 2 for a mediocre Cali burrito and 1 extra because the green salsa was good. Burrito was underwhelming in size for $11.00 compared to others I've tried. They use fat fries instead of skinny fries which I'm not a fan of. However the green salsa which hardly looks green in the picture is really good. I think this place has potential. Cooks don't wear gloves and grab food with bare hands and I'm not sure if they were just cleaning or not before making my burrito.. but i can see it being gross for some. I think with a little improvise they can do well especially in times when you have 20 taco trucks down Bristol selling the same if not cheaper food.

I have been coming here for about a year since moving to Santa Ana, and it's usually after I get my water at King Water & Juice Bar. I vaguely remember the first time I came here, I was a bit intimidated by being one of the only non-Hispanic people in here. Nothing to worry about since the workers were friendly when I approached them to study their menu and order my food. Being a burrito guy, I decided to get their asada burrito, and it was very good. It came with refried beans, Mexican rice, onions, cilantro and spicy red salsa all wrapped in flour tortilla goodness. This became my main go-to item as I came here more. In addition, I tried their asada tacos, and they were really good, as expected of a Mexican restaurant in Santa Ana. The asada may be a bit dried up, but you're not in a Michelin star restaurant. The prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you can get if you're hungry. The establishment is just a typical mom-and-pop restaurant that happens to be a chain, and the value of the food for what you pay is a bargain.

I ordered a torta de carne asada and mostly received a torta de frijoles. There is not enough meat on it to justify the price. The staff in the restaurant were friendly though.
