This is our go to spot for lobster noodles. Our other go to dishes are: Kung Pao Chicken, fried tofu, Chinese spinach, crab soup, black bean calms, and calamari. The service and cleanseness is what you expected from a Chinese restaurant. You don't go there for the service or super clean restaurant, you go there for the food. Overall, this place is good but has gotten pricey due to inflation. A family of 7 adults and 4 small kids was about $500.

Last weekend we went down to OC for Tet festival and we got to visit this favorite Chinese Seafood Restaurant, specialize in everything LOL. I haven't been here for almost 20 years. Didn't know it's still alive and well. I believe it's the same owner, now must be in the 70s. It's at the same location off the little Saigon strip Asian Garden Mall (Phuoc Loc Tho). The parking is not very big with another famous noodle house and other businesses so it's a little hard to find a parking space in the day time, but we came on Sunday's evening, it's not so bad and we found our spot. The servers here are extremely pleasant, attentive and humorous, we had fun chatting with them. He knows how to take group pictures too. Great photographer. My favorite dish is elephant clam steam and deep fried. The body is steamed and the head is deep fried, so crispy and tasty with both body and head. Everyone loved it.The deep fried tofu here is second to none. I tried to cook this at home but never succeed and couldn't find any place in the Bay Area to match. The hardest part is using silken tofu (extremely soft) and fried to crispy outside, soft inside without being broken. The Lobsters are to die for, we ordered 2 small ones (they're huge), one with special sauce and one with Ginger and scallions. Both are excellent but everyone preferred the Ginger over the special, because the special sauce is a little sweeter than Ginger.Octopus sautee is delicious in it's own way with the vegetable dish is so good that my wife loves so much.Mongolian Beef is cooked with perfection, just right amount of tasty sauce. My wife kept asking me why not to take her here more often. The answer is with 2 people, we can't share all the good dishes as with many people. She insists that we eat here again next time we come down to OC because there are so many dishes she haven't tried.

You will never go wrong with house special lobster. Order it with the noodle! A group of three goes well with a medium size,5-6lbs. The service is great. They keep replacing my plate that have lobster shell without a need to ask. For vegetable, I love pan fried string beans. Fried tofu is a good starter. If you love beef, order beef loc lac. It is a casual restaurant situated in a small plaza with parking lot.

It's a Chinese and Vietnamese restaurant with quick service and solid food. It has a great family friendly atmosphere. The lobster garlic noodles were phenomenal. It's a little pricey, but worth it because it's so good. We will definitely be returning.

OVERVIEW:My parents have come here for over 20 years. For context when we lived in SF Bay Area, my mom asked my dad to take a day trip to eat the lobster and beef cubes dish!!!! This time we took our friends from the bay and they loved it! I've also heard many of my friends stories about how this place is loved by many Asian parents.FOOD:Out of everything we ordered, these are worth noting: Newport special lobster Beef loc lac Fried bean curd w/ salt and pepperFish filet w black bean sauce The honey walnut shrimp was sadly disappointing on this trip - shrimp was small and hard? Felt like it was left overs reheated.SERVICEEverything was super quick... great service! So great they might be hovering over you sometimes but it's okay you're taken cared of.

Some of the best Chinese food you'll come across in OC. The salt and pepper squid is a must. They are most known for their lobster which is delicious!! It was about $32 per lb and we got the lobster garlic noodles. These were thick noodles and so good. Their salt and pepper tofu was also really good, but I think they use silken tofu so just keep that in mind if you normally like a firm tofu. We will definitely be back!!

I'm not sure why I'd never heard of this place before...because I love seafood, especially Chinese style prepared crabs, lobsters, fish, etc....and finding this place was a very pleasant surprise.Although we showed up a little early for some dinner...just before 5pm....we were very surprised that the place was deserted, not a customer in sight, just a lot of servers standing around....oh well, I thought, we'll just have the whole place to ourselves and not have to deal with long lines, crowds, and noise. The staff here seemed nice and friendly enough, although there was a bit of a communication difficulty since we don't speak Chinese or Vietnamese, but we got by. We basically told the server that we were here to try their crabs and lobster specials, and we were highly recommended to try their Special Lobster with ee-fu noodles added to it, and the Salt & Pepper Crab. Fo some veggie, we ordered the Watercress with Garlic Sauce.Ok, just a warning since this was our first time here......you need to let them know what sized lobsters you want, or they will give you a pretty good sized one.....not a problem for us, but there was just two of us and we were afraid we couldn't finish everything. We ended up getting a 4.5lb lobster and a large crab. Yes, the prices are a bit high, but I always believe that if the food is really fresh and tastes great, I am willing to pay for it.....and we certainly weren't disappointed with paying a hefty price for this outstanding dinner! Our seafood was from the live seafood tanks and certainly very fresh......but the it was all prepared was perfectly hot off the wok, expertly prepared with the best flavors you can get for your lobster and crabs....everything just tasted so amazing! We tried to finish everything, but just couldn't, and ended up doggy bagging our leftovers and finishing them off the next day. This is a very good Chinese/Vietnamese seafood restaurant and I am so glad we discovered it and got to try it out.

I came with my coworkers after a recommendation and it did not disappoint! The lobster we got was 9 lbs and was super meaty. My other favorite dishes were the fried salt & pepper dishes and the filet minon dish. I wasn't a huge fan of the salad (but my coworkers loved it) and the soup was also hearty and delicious. It wasn't too busy on a week day and the service was great!

We came here with a party of 12 and they fit us in without a reservation. They had heaters outside with huge circular tables that fit us all perfectly. I enjoyed the Chinese broccoli and rice. The lobster and noodles, the shrimp fried rice, honey walnut shrimp and all of our other dishes looked incredible. Everyone enjoyed everything and we even had the most delicious oranges as dessert at the end to cleanse our palette. I must say this restaurant has the most delicious food and amazing staff!
