i've had a lot of sushi, and i was blown away here. we were in the area, and stopped by for a pick me up meal. i am usually an AYCE girly. i like getting my money's worth, but typically that sacrifices quality. i'm just frugal so it's hard for me to justify visiting non-AYCE sushi spots, but takuma is an exception.everything was beautifully done. so balanced, and light. my guilty pleasure is cream cheese and deep fried sushi. we got the fried philly roll and it was the best i've ever had. the batter was light and airy, the cream cheese was well balanced with the rest of the sauce and the rice wasn't chewy. i forgot what the name of the hand roll was, but it was the one with soy paper and it was also perfection. the perfect balance of everything; even the lightness of the tempura shrimp shined through. nothing was overpowering either - flavor nor texture. the same goes for the soft shell crab - the perfect amount of crisp and batter where it does not overpower the actual crab.

We tried going to Eat's Sushi but the wait was too long so we took a chance by going to Takumi. It was still pretty busy but there was an option to sit outside immediately. They had heat lamps that kept us really warm. The food was so incredibly fresh! It is so nice because their rolls are mostly 4 pieces so you can try a variety without ordering too much. But caution...you'll end up ordering more because it is just so good. One of the best sushi spots I've been to! The fish is perfect! The sauces for the sushi and the rolls were so tasty. I want more!!There was a delay in the delivery of our second round order. We let our waiter know that we had somewhere we needed to be after so the manager got involved in following up on our food. He was so nice that he discounted our bill for the long wait. The server himself was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. This place was a 10/10! Already looking forward to the next time we can go and enjoy delicious sushi at Takumi!

We love Eat's Sushi and were excited to learn about Takumi! They have the same menu as Eat's, but we found it to be less crowded with the same quality food and cozy interior. We ordered the Hawaiian Roll, Hot Night Roll, Crunch Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, and Crispy Rice w/ Spicy Tuna- all fresh and delicious! We had several servers attending to our table, and each of them were friendly and attentive. You also have the option to join their Yelp waitlist at any time, unlike Eat's where you must be within a 5mi waitlist. So happy to have found this spot and will definitely be adding it to our rotation!

What used to be Full Moon Sushi has now become a regentrified sushi spot serving up quality sushi at a reasonable price. Prepare to wait for a really long time just like it's sister restaurant Eat's Sushi. Though you can join the Waitlist on the Yelp App so that helps a bit. I like what they did to the place, but seating is limited because of the sushi bar taking up half the restaurant.Ordered so many things the night we came as my eyes were bigger than my stomach by the time we got seated. Sushi favorites were Yellowtail, Toro, Madai, and Sweet Shrimp with deep fried crispy head served on the side. You can never go wrong with Uni and Seared Jumbo Scallop sushi any day. Their monkfish liver was delish and I'm still dreaming about the Salmon Blue Crab with avocado, truffle oil, and yuzu. We got a few rolls as fillers and was impressed by the quality of all of them: Energy Roll, Baja California Roll, Baked Scallop Roll, and Alaskan Roll.

Was excited to try out this place because I love their sister store, Eat's Sushi. We came in for a friend's birthday, and while they don't take reservations, they had me join the waitlist early in the day, which ensured I was number 1 on the list and could be seated right away. (Be sure to call them in advance if you're going to do this). Vibes were really nice, the interior is narrow and more similar to what an authentic Japanese restaurant would look like. The space is warm and cozy, with beautiful decorations and a nice atmosphere. Ideal for an intimate date, not so much for huge parties looking to eat out (we had six people so it was fine for us). Service was quick and friendly. Sushi was absolutely delicious and fresh. Everything hit the spot and was so good! Menu is the exact same as Eat's so topping rolls come in orders of 4 pieces. Our favorites were the spicy tuna crispy rice, Hot Night Roll, In n Out Roll, and the spicy garlic edamame (soooo addicting). I would definitely come back! Sushi was delicious and well priced, plus vibes are on point.

Absolutely yummy! So happy we stumbled upon this treasure. We waitlisted on vday even though we had reservations elsewhere lol. But the expected time was an hour after what they estimated. But everything overall was so delicious. The sashimi was so soft, melt in your mouth, and fresh! I love go the portions are smaller so we ordered just the right amount for everything. 3 rolls, 2 apps, 1 sashimi, and one beer came out to $70!! Overall everything was really great besides the wait time and we could've been checked up more. But would definitely return!!

Ended up here because Eats sushi (down the street) was too packed. This place was full too but we added ourselves on the waitlist as soon as we could. We waited a few minutes and were seated outside. The outdoor dining was spacious and each table had a heat lamp. This place really did not disappoint. Everything we ordered tasted so fresh and so flavorful. Their rolls come in 4 pieces, at first I thought that was so little compared to what I usually see which is 8 but it worked out so you're able to try different items. A couple of the ones we ordered again were the Pink lady, mountain blue crab, salmon house roll. This is for sure now one of my favorite sushi places! They have 1 bathroom, parking lot is shared but didn't seem hard on a Saturday night, service was tentative. Really looking forward to coming back.

Hidden gem I kept avoiding because the name looked white washed every time I scrolled past it on Yelp. Food was great and okay priced. Seafood and fish was relatively fresh and delicious. Their no rice rolls were also very yummy and definitely satisfied those sushi cravings. Takoyaki was freshly fried and soft and gooey on the inside. Would skip out on the dinner combos in the future because they're kind of a waste of stomach space. The fried cutlets were not very good. Otherwise great service and it's definitely the cutest vibes in town
