I had the delightful experience of tasting the most incredible ube pancake. The flavor was exceptional, and the pancake was wonderfully light and fluffy. The best part is that it wasn't overly sweet, which allowed me to savor every bite. I devoured the entire pancake with joy.Additionally, as a pescatarian, I sampled some of their savory rice plates, including the tofu and fish rice. They were absolutely delicious and full of flavor.I highly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates unique flavors and enjoys both savory and sweet dishes. The service was also outstanding.

This was a great spot to stop by for lunch the other day and I'm glad I decided to stop by. I got the Rendang Curry Bowl and it was delicious! Take Ur Seat Lite at the Haven City Market serves Filipino-inspired fusion breakfast and lunch with entrees like their longanisa bowl or their ube cloud pancakes. The curry bowl I got was delicious with plenty of tender meat over rice and the fried egg helped balance the richness and there was plenty of rendang flavor and spice to combine for an overall enjoyable bowl!The staff were friendly and welcoming and happily answered any questions I had regarding the menu and the the shop front had a clean aesthetic and I had my food ready within 10 minutes. I like that they are the first shop you see when you walk in and there's plenty of seating right across from where they are setup.

If there's one breakfast meat I love the most it's tocino. Those slightly sweet, sometimes char-grilled, pork tenders has consistently hit the spot for a great breakfast ulam or even with just plain vanilla two eggs with toast and hash brown meal.Take Ur Seat Lite at the Haven City Market nails this breakfast staple easily. While it may not have the signature bright red hue that most Tocino has, theirs has the succulent pork--juicy and joyous--with that awesome sweet kick of heaven in every bite. I loved it.The staff was awesome and eating it in a food hall environment actually works if you're on the go or, like me, just wants a nice place to enjoy my food and sit back to read after. Nobody rushing to turn over the table and nobody asking you if for anything else order-wise makes for a nice ambiance.

Loved my soufflé pancakes at Take Ur Seat! I got the berry fluffy pancake & it was so delicious & the perfect amount of sweet! This was the first time my mom tried a fluffy pancake & she loved it! Excited to come back and try more of the flavors here! The staff was really friendly & I loved the vibe of this spot!

Belly on Fire [8/10]: I really like how the pork belly pieces contain chunks of meat and not just pork belly fat. The sauce isn't spicy at all and tastes like gochujang. I also liked the texture of the rice and the egg and spinach that comes with it. A very hearty meal.There is a self service kiosk which makes ordering super easy. The food also came out in less than 10 minutes. This is located inside the Haven City market in West Covina and it was packed on a Friday night. It took a bit to find a table to sit down to eat but a good place to catch up and eat with friends and try different food.

This place was cool. We got two pork belly bowls; one was spicy and the other was not. After trying the sauce from the spicy pork belly bowl, I decided I wanted a side of it. I went to the register and asked for a side of the sauce, and it was almost $3. The spicy bowl is the best choice; it's not really spicy, but more flavorful. The regular had no flavor. We also tried the ube cloud pancake. The best part was that the cashier was very helpful, since it was our first time at this location.

2.75 ish stars-Came by for brunch and found the meal to be average ($40 for two entrees and fries). The ube cloud pancakes does take a while to make (took about 30 min), and the fries/ other entree (pork belly) was cold by the time we ate it. Fries were hard and not worth $5 (I think most of us can air fry it better, unfortunately).For portions- not bad, but the fries sorta ruined the experience

I stopped by because the ube cloud pancake caught my eye. Unfortunately they were out of it at the time I went. However, I was still pretty intrigued by their bowls so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the tofu mushroom bowl and my boyfriend ordered the belly 2 belly bowl. We also ordered the TUS fries on the side.The portion of the fry was insane! We definitely were not able to finish it all in one sitting. I really liked the way it was seasoned and we ordered extra caramelized onions on the side because it tasted so good with it. The bowls were very tasty too. They were both seasoned similarly! I really liked the poached egg as it was more jammy than runny. The price is a little high. I think the food it good but I wasn't blown away, especially for how much everything cost. It's a great modern filipino restaurant though so I think I'll be back!

Take Your Seat Lite is located on the right as you enter Haven City Market and offers early breakfast hours as well. I decided to give it a try by ordering the Belly 2 Belly Bowl and the Ube Cloud Pancake.The Belly 2 Belly Bowl was fantastic and incredibly filling. It came with rice, pork belly, spinach, a poached egg, and green onions, and I even had leftovers for another meal. However, while I usually love a good soufflé pancake, the Ube Cloud Pancake was a bit disappointing. It wasn't as fluffy as expected and didn't jiggle at all, so it felt more like a thick regular pancake. The topping of coconut cream and jackfruit bits was a nice touch, making it a decent sweet treat, but not something I'd order again. That's why I knocked off one star.That said, the rest of the brunch menu looks delicious, and I'd definitely come back to try other items.

Take Ur Seat Lite is a new Asian American fusion that serve brunch and dinner in West Covina. It's located within Haven City Market. They have modest selection of food and cold drinks. Exterior was aesthetically decorated. A fully operational order kiosk is available for faster service as well as staff cashier. I ordered an OJ, veggiecado toast and a berry cloud soufflé pancake. Food tastes good and modest in flavor. OJ was refreshing albeit reg size is too small. Service was on point. Staff was affable and competent. Prices are tad pricey. Atmosphere was very relaxing. Overall, I had a modest experience and satisfying meal. I'd come back to try other food items.
