Tacos Los Guero

First time client here! The food is overall great. I ordered their carne asada tacos and man it had awesome flavor. Their salsa has the right amount of heat. The ladies working the counter are very nice and very helpful. This place is considered a hole in a wall restaurant so you can bet your butt that you will have authentic dish. Highly recommend this place! Edit: only negative side is that they only accept cash. But overall, the place is great!

Taco places are like dogs- everyone thinks theirs is the best. while this place is not necessarily my dog in the fight, it is objectively good, and has a decent price, although it is cash only. they do everything you'd expect a good taqueria to do.disclaimer: i am not mexican nor have i ate mexican food my entire life, so if you're one of those, you probably dont need me to tell you what good tacos taste like. but any place that sells a large cup of consome of birria de chivo, for a DOLLAR, is a friend of mine, especially in cold winters.

The more times you come here the more you realize what it lacks. First it's cash only, not sure why if prices aren't that much cheaper than neighboring taquerias. The more times I ate the there the more fat and grease their meats had. Not all cuts but most cuts. It's an ok place but don't expect more than that.

I've been a loyal customer for about 12 years, and Tacos Los Guero has always been my go-to place for a quick bite. Every time I visit, I leave smelling like the place, but I don't mind because their food always smells appetizing.I visited on a Saturday afternoon, and there was plenty of parking in the back and front. Tacos Los Guero offers both outside and inside seating. You immediately smell their delicious food when you open the door. This place is cash-only, but there's an ATM on-site for your convenience. I ordered two tacos de asada, one shrimp taco, and a cocktail with cebollitas and jalapeños on the side. There were about four people ahead of me, and my order took about 15 minutes to be made, which was the perfect time to get some extra salsas from their delicious condiment bar.As you can see from the pictures, they are very generous with their portions. The meat in my tacos de asada was perfectly cooked and flavorful, and the addition of cebollitas was perfect. The shrimp tacos had about three huge and crispy pieces of shrimp. Lastly, the shrimp cocktail was served in a styrofoam cup, but don't let the size fool you; the portion was significant and had plenty of shrimp.In conclusion, this place is a must-try place if you are in the area and want to try some delicious Mexican food. They have a variety of food on their menu with decent prizes. I highly recommend Tacos Los Guero.

Our friend brought us to this hole in the wall Mexican spot. You order and pay at the counter, and can dine in. Cash only. I decided to try the Burrito Mojado de Chile Verde, which I ordered with carnitas meat. JJ ordered the tripas plate which he loves, with a side of grilled Chile peppers.The wet burrito was huge. It was really good, except that some portions of the carnitas were a little on the dry side but was very flavorful nonetheless. JJ's tripas plate was very much something to behold--- it looked great. The only thing is that he likes his tripas very very crispy, and he said that they were rubbery. He said the rice and beans were very good. He took most of it home, and cooked them in a fry pan, and he said they were a little better. I also took a little less than half my burrito home, and thoroughly enjoyed it the next day.I would recommend not ordering the tripas, and to look at the guy behind the counter when he makes the burritos/tacos. There was a meat that looked very juicy and tender. I would order that meat in my burrito the next time. I would go again if we were in the area.Interior ambience was nice, and we enjoyed dining in and had a great time. Service was fine, although I had to remind the cashier that we ordered drinks, as she forgot to serve them to us.

I've been here about three more times. We've had Tacos and burritos. All equally delicious!They are cash only. Don't forget to have cash on hand!

A hidden gem in the 562. Literally hidden in Norwalk; cash only, no social media presence or any type of digital marketing/promoting besides word of mouth (that's how I found myself here) is Tacos Los Guero. Everything ordered from the tacos to the nachos was delicious! The tacos were served piping hot: the carne asada was tender and flavorful, the chorizo was borderline Al pastor in the flavor elements and the meats were cooked to perfection. A nice salsa bar to accompany the variety of menu items was also a plus. The place has been around since I can remember (Norwalk Native) which should have been clear enough indication to try this place sooner than later. I will happily eat at this local establishment again as I reminisce about the loaded asada nachos, the zesty nacho cheese and decadent drizzle of salsa de aguacate.

This place has awesome food. I recommend EVERYTHING.It's a great local spot, the cashier and cooks are excellent and friendly.The place gets a little packed occasionally, but placing a pick up or to-go order is easy and prepared right away. As long as you have cash on hand.Though there in a convenient ATM inside just in case. Don't let the simple decoration on the walls fool you. This place is just great.

Good tacos and would eat again if we were in the area. But would not go out of my way.
