SushiMe Roll'n

My family and I were craving Sushi, and wanted to try a new place; so we decided to have dinner here. I ordered the all you can eat and it was excellent. The rolls I ordered were made to perfection. They did not have too much rice and the fish and vegetables were fresh. Service was excellent and the rolls were at our table within two minutes of ordering. We will definitely be making this one of our new dinner spots.

First time visiting this sushi restaurant and I was extremely pleased with entire dining expedience.My family and I were greeted with ten seconds of entering the restaurant and seated within twenty seconds. Once seated, we were advised that all you can eat sushi was an option at $42.99 per person which is a very good option.We chose this option and immediately ordered numerous rolls for round one (AYCE is three rounds in total). From the time we placed our order, we began to revive the first of our rolls within three-minutes! WHAT!!! This was UNBELIEVABLE! Needless to say, we were overly impressed with the lightning speed service. Within three or four minutes thereafter, we had received our entire order wish was awesome! The rolls were perfectly prepared, fresh and absolutely DELICIOUS!!The vibe is here is very relaxed and modern with the Laker game being shown on big screen TV's during our visit and very upbeat and enjoyable music playing on overhead speakers.Every single employee here provided top-notch service and it was truly appreciated. This was definitely a very positive dining experience

Honestly not sure how this place has raving reviews...I was really excited to try this place because of the reviews I saw online. When we walked in for dinner, we were the only folks there. We didn't receive a menu and the server came around asking what we would like to have. I mentioned that we didn't have any menus, he went and grabbed some. The music was incredibly loud and members of our party asked that they lower the volume. They lowered it only to raise it up again later. Our food was okay, lots of sauces that really overpowered the flavor of the fish. Two rolls were good, we weren't told which rolls each was so all I know is that one had a lemon slice on each cut and the other had a jalapeño. We tried 6 rolls, miso soup, garlic edamame, and garlic noodles (and a pitcher of Asahi). The garlic edamame was delicious. The entire time we were there, no servers cleared any of the accumulating empty plates or the trash on the table. By the end of it, I had stacked all the plates myself to help clear the space. Considering we were the only folks in the restaurant, I can't imagine that they'd be too busy to help. Additionally, my husband and father in law mentioned that the men's restroom was very dirty. The women's restroom was pretty clean though. Very rarely do I ever give less than 3 stars, but despite really wanting to love this place, it just fell short. Lowered 2 stars to 1 because 3/5 of us got sick after eating here...

The sushi here is really good! I've been here a few times already. Today we got the AYCE which is usually priced at $41 per person and includes three rounds. Their menu has plenty of options including appetizers, nigiri, specialty rolls, and hand rolls. My friend said the crispy rice tuna was his favorite. I really enjoyed the baked mussels.The restaurant itself has nice decoration and comfortable layout. We went on a Sunday at 3 pm, and it wasn't too busy. They also had football on the TV which was nice. The only drawback was that we were sat at a table that was practically shared with another group. It was a large table with a small divider on the table. Not all of the tables are like this though. Overall I have and will continue to come back and eat here. The food is good and it's a comfortable, laid back place to eat.

I went to SushiMe Roll'n with high expectations and unfortunately I was disappointed. I'm not saying their food was bad, it just wasn't good. It was average I should say.Service also average. Host was nowhere to be found when we walked in and when she finally approached us she just asked "how many?" And then said "ok."Didn't tell us a wait time or to please have a seat just completely silence. Food did come in a timely manner and place was clean. Overall, I would simply say the place is average.

Surprised I didn't see any other reviews mentioning the name of the restaurant and their play on words with the song ridin' by chamillionaireCame with wife and 5 y/o for the AYCE. Usually there's an age limit so it was interesting to see how they asses you for "kids eat free" they have a height limit--Like they do at Disneyland. The menu states if you're under that height 40 inches, kids eat free. 40-56 inches there's a fee. I was happy they didn't enforce their "everyone needs to participate in AYCE" as stated on their menu because I knew my son just wants rice, seaweed, and a little meat. We were concerned that he would get charged the mini AYCE fee and I knew he wouldn't eat much. We were lucky that they allowed us to order a la carte for him. Thank you sushime rollin! I was thrilled when they were able to accommodate my son with 2 sides of seaweed and chicken teriyaki with sauce on the side. He was overjoyed making his own sushi with chicken. He ate and was entertained which allowed us to eat and enjoy our sushi in peace. There were inaccuracies in the orders. We ordered 2 orders of baked mussels expected 4 but got 5. Ordered salmon temptation expected 4 pieces but got 8. That was in our first order so it was a happy moment. But we got concerned because if they kept adding extra food, we didn't want to get stuck with an extra fee for not finishing our food. I like how sushime rollin adopted the Korean bbq style of how they handle water. They bring you a small Korean-pitcher and you pour your own water. There was Graffiti on the restroom but it's kinda expected for any establishment in West Covina. But the restroom was well stocked when I was there. Music playlist included artists like Mary j beige, Dr dre, limp bizket, and luniz. Which again is location appropriate. It was cool to hear some of the song from my childhood very nostalgic.I wasn't greeted with a smile from the host which gave me a bad impression. However, servers kept checking in on us. Which was great. Fast service. Food came out slower as it got busier. Can't blame them there. All the food that we did get was pretty good. I believe the actions speak louder than words and after a while, I got more comfortable and felt welcomed. I will note that the rice wasn't as bouncy and texture wasn't there. Fish quality was good but not great. This experience was overall good. I can see why they got best sushi in West Covina for 2023. We will definitely consider sushime rollin next time we're in the mood for sushi. Keep up the great work!

All the food was great! All you can eat is DEFINITELY worth it!Ask for William! He was the best and super friendly!

This is a good place for date night. Its a nice vibe and the food is so good. The food is fresh and has a great taste. We got the all you can eat. Better to get that than just getting a couple plates. The place is super chill. Service was good, a little slow but good. The music was smooth. If you take a date here, you are for sure going yo score after.

This is my first time back at SushiMe Roll'n in a really long time. It is cutely decorated restaurant that is relatively spacious on the inside. They also have an outdoor patio. I visited on a Wednesday evening and was seated immediately. I didn't know there was an AYCE option available so I opted for a la carte. Service was good, the waiters came by quite frequently to check up on us.My party of two shared a sake-me and a tonkatsu ramen. Both of us were full by the end. The tonkatsu ramen was pretty good. The broth was not as rich and creamy as the ramen that I've had at places that specialize in making ramen, but it was still enjoyable. Not salty, which is a plus! Although the pork chashu was a little tough, they were generous in the amount of meat that was given. They also gave a full ramen egg instead of just a half. Toppings include seaweed, bamboo shoots, green onions, and corn. I was honestly disappointed by the sake-me. The slices of salmon were very small, so I could barely taste them. It was mostly like eating rice, seaweed, and cucumbers with mayo/sriracha. In summary, if I came back, I would probably order the ramen again and would definitely not order the sake-me.

Will and Mel were AMAZING!! first time coming to this spot and the food was amazing, service was fast, great music. Definitely coming back 1000000/10
